I love how Nick lowered his synths to compensate for the lack of bass due to technical faults. Brilliant, as always. John never stopped playing either, and this was so early on in their career. Handled it like pros.
I’ve recently have become a huge fan of this song, and I wanted to hear it live from the 80s and I come across this video. And seeing how they handle all the tech issues like pros and reading all the comments and stuff is so fucking cool. I like this song even more now and it just blows my mind how talented they were so young

John always save the day when something goes wrong he's very professional. Salute to Mr. John taylor 👍
Love the technical difficulties and John never stopped dancing; A pro at 20 years old.
Just shows how empty the music is without the bass. A VERY prominent instrument in Duran Duran, which is why I love them. Bass adds soul to the music.
I don't think that crowd could ever know just how lucky they were.
I love Simon's dancing ... only he can dance like that and still look super cool!
Completely live! No tape background. Sounds so much more fresh. How to write a great simple killer pop song.
wow! andy and nick stepping up! great to see them concerned for one another, let's do that again please? Andy, come back!
A big technical problems with John´s bass, but he just go through :-)
DD sounds great when andy harmonises
Timeline of bass issues:
Wow!!! They sound so good for being live. Simon definitely has an amazing voice.
Nick like the true professional added the bass at the end.

Simon at his best; he doesn't miss a note. Overall, a group of well talented kids.
They kept on even though there were problems, they truly are a professional band.
For those who ask if Nick plays❤️...Go Andy 🎸
Duran Duran still in tune 2020♥
