Devolver went to Cape Town to support the first Playtopia event since 2019, hang with besties Free Lives, and check out some wild indie games.
Free Lives are the game dev savants behind Broforce, Genital Jousting, Terra Nil and the upcoming Stick It to the Stickman and Anger Foot. They created Playtopia as a meeting place for game-adjacent folks from across the African continent. Long live Free Lives, long live Playtopia!
