I love SF3 3rd strike but all of you oughta know that TA means Tool Assisted. they have automated parries here but even though they make some nice combos. Urien's unblockable near he end of the fight is perfectly possible... I did it 3 times :-P.
@EviltoasterofFP LOL have you watched any of those Japanese 3rd Strike highlight reels on Agtool's channel. Bunch of interesting stuff happening. RX (Ryu) vs KO (Dudley), Sugiyama (Necro) vs Messatsu (Urien), all those matches where Kuroda plays Q etc. Those matches were epic lol.
@EviltoasterofFP I don't know about that, seeing real tournament matches has a much more intense feel to it, especially seeing how the players perform under such pressure. A tool assisted/pre recorded match takes away a lot of the tension, still this video was very nicely set up. And hats off to the author.
@clairemadeinheaven it means the moves are performed by a computer of some sort and all moves and links are programmed, thats how you get these insane moments, no human could pull that off
@EviltoasterofFP I think real matches have their own appeal to them that make them more interesting than a tool assisted video and tool assisted has it's own appeal over real matches, but I like both equally the same.
this game is still played in tournaments to this day because it is praised as one of the most evenly balanced, skill-based fighting games. I now know two things for sure, 1. that you have never played street fighter 3 third strike, or have ever seen any TA 2. that you are far too young to use the phrase "what they used to be", because you'd know that street fighter has been a staple of the genre since it was very young if you were old enough to really experience the dawn of fighting games
@gearschampfitty You do know "talent" is a natural skill you're born with, right? Being born good at Street Fighter 3: Third Strike would for the most part be a pretty useless talent in the grand scheme of things. Players have limited skill when they play in their spare time. It's nothing to get pissy about.
2:50 dem moves . That was so awesome
2:19 Urien: *Ok she's knocked down, time for a little dance*.....HEYAAA!
You know what it's the best? all this this it's actually possible, long live SF
Tomboy de-stroy. 2:51 Great scott parrying!
If only that was a real match, lol.
Still cool.
Literally...on the edge of my seat from the beginning to the end of this vid
this video was what truly got me into fighting games
0:04 - im already impressed by the character selection TAS
This has got to be the most epic match I have ever seen in my life.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW @ 2:52
Christ, godly parries.
This makes me proud to main Makoto.
Makoto for SFV!
+Kafsmk DT109 Urien will be in SFV :)
+xOverXLordx
Really hope they turn him into a motion command character, charge never suited him.
2:54 - "Screw your logic!"
this is fucking sorcery...
How do you make makoto do that hiya sound at the end of the round?? Anyone who answer would be greatly appreciated :)
Oh wow. These are fantastic.
I'm hoping for Q if you're doing more.

how do i do the "crush" and "destroy" move on the xbox?!??!

Nice, especially that last round
These are so awesome. MORE! MORE!
If only real SF3 matches were this interesting

@DonnieLove214 look up charge buffering and charge partitioning. there are a lot of tuts on it. should help ;)
The last match was SO HYPE ! Parries in 3rd strike make the match in my opinion
2:53 Makoto went all God-parry mode
@EviltoasterofFP I think real matches have their own appeal to them that make them more interesting than a tool assisted video and tool assisted has it's own appeal over real matches, but I like both equally the same.
to parry you press forward right when ur bout to get hit or press down for a lower attack like if they r going to trip you...
pretty well thought out
this is amazing..i love makoto
That 3rd round finish was SWEET, lol.
kinda surprised you didn't use the glitched corner unblockable but good stuff none the less
incredible match
omg... Dude that ending was too fucking epic
I've never played 3rd Strike and always wondered.
How do you parry?
What input?
MrStraightGrizzly depends where is your character facing if is right just push left at the right time and the game will show "Tech bonus"
MrStraightGrizzly what evey way your faceing press it when your about to be attacked press down for a the same thing
nice work
last 15 of the final round is nuts
that's makoto's 2nd "secret" taunt.... press taunt after you land a hayate and she will do it
YO sickest fuckin fight i've seen in a while!
Hasta que ponen un luchador mexicano que no es un enmascarado ;)
Im so hype for 3s online because of this match right now...
The funny thing is,I fully believe RX could pull off Urien setups like this in real matches.
Playing TA mode is like riding a Harley Davidson with training wheels
BEAST!
holy crap O_O
2:52 - 3:03 is more parries than i do in a week.
urien made a mistake near the end of the 3rd fight . he was near stun with a lead and should backed off to let his stun gauge go down.
3:00 very nice parries
3:00 nice parry sequence
THAT was so intense
This is so fucking dope.
Makoto man.. gatdamn!
Man hand's holding it down.
