- A Massey Ferguson 35 powered by a Jaguar V12 petrol engine. This MF35 is from Jersey in the Channel Islands and the Jaguar engine was fitted by the late Mr. James Purvis. The tractor is seen being driven and on display at Guernsey's West Show 2012.
This tractor belonged to my late grandfather Jean who passed away in 2009. I'm so glad to see it's still in use and just as spotless!
Oh sorry to hear that. Yes I think I see it most years at the West Show. It looks quite a beast.
Less creepy ice cream truck music and more V12 engine sound.
Now I know what to do with our V12 when we convert dear old Maxie to a Tesla drive!!! Heartfelt thanks!!!!! Also, I love the song Simple Joys. Guess all Jaguar V12 folks share this...
It would be sacrilege to convert one to electric. Best to keep it as petrol. 🙂
Very nice. Good tractor.
the Calliope in the opener just adds the perfect touch of British Charm.
A marriage made in Coventry 👍👍
Wow! Sounds great! 😃👍

Hi nice to meet
easier to get to the oil leaks and prince of darkness problems in a tractor.
Just curious what hourse power it would produce? Interested in doing something similar myself
Not sure off hand. I think they had an information board by it when it was parked up that might have said. I will see if I took photos of it and see if it said on there.

A pity we couldn't hear it opening up a bit! Do you know who owns it?
jethou1 Yep I filmed a lot more then this, not that it was being driven much, yet not once did he rev it a lot. It was the guys from the Pallot Museum that bought it over, so I presume they got it in their museum.
This tractor my favorite tractor give me one piece iam little farmer in Pakistan
would love to build one too... I have an XJS V12 I could use as a donor because engine is in really good shape but body is in bad condition. I wish I could talk to the person who built it to hear how he assembled it!
@@MrBooojangles was bought by the museum after my grandfather, Jean, passed away in 2009. We have fond memories and some lovely videos of him driving the tractor.
@@daz7926 at least it's gone to a good home. At least you know it will be well looked after there and not just left somewhere to gather dust or worse still, corrode away. And of course you can still visit it when you like. 🙂
very nice i like you
for sale?
no body I don't think so.
Had a xj 5.3 v12 it was doing 10 to the gallon
We had an XJ12, beautiful car. My father and law and I would spend all winter replacing sensors LOL! Lucas Dark Night. They like to overheat. Still a magnificent car to drive on the highway.
the mf normal uses Perkins so a jaguar engine is ok
