I have the same sunpro guage cluster in an 85' C10 Chevy Truck and it also has a 305. I'm getting the same reading.

That cluster was there when I bought the car. That 305 is out of a 86 Caprice if I remember. It has flat top pistons with 58cc 416 heads.Stock oil pump and 15W40 oil.
Bad thing is that water mixes with the oil and I'm gonna take the engine apart tomorrow.

That was a cold reading.I think its a normal reading for an engine that has some miles and a stock oil pump. When my 350 Buick engine started knocking a bought the 305 Chevy. It had still the factory steel shim .015" head gasket and no milkshake in the engine. So i'm pretty sure that it has no cracks and heads are straight.I put silicon on the head bolts and already changed the intak gaskets twice- still has milkshake. So I*m sure the el cheapo head gaskets are the problem.Should of bought Fel-Pro's

Was this a warm or a cold reading? I have had the truck less than a month and I was concerned thinking it should read higher. I was searching google when it brought me to your video on RUclips. Sucks about the blown head gasket or crack. Better to be in the head than the block.
