his playing tickled my ear and i stopped the video and checked out their whole discography and i am now in love with this band ''Feel the pressure'' is fucking awesome
Salinas/Santa Cruz in the house on Rig Rundown. Love the Drain boys and we are all super proud of them. More people need to discover them. Glad you guys had them Perry.
YESSS LEEWAY AND CRUMBSUCKERS!!! both sick asf crossover bands, I love Hogans Heroes and RKL as well. The new metallic hardcore is sick, Mindforce is another awesome band.
Awesome to see these dudes getting attention and also AWESOME to see the signal chain breakdown. Seems like it's much easier to do with the Tonemaster screen and touch functions.
Drain is the most entertaining, fun to see band on the planet right now. The only thing that bums me out is to see them have to use barricades. I'm stoked to see them getting so popular though! I lost a tooth at my first Drain show three years ago and they've been my favorite since.

see I was gonna buy a Jackson American Series Soloist, but unfortunately I only had X-Series money. So what I did was just bought the Neck-Through X-Series and put the locking tuners, Gotoh Trem 1996 Trem/Nut, Titanium Green Hardware, and the Seymour Duncan Black Winters. Even put a little Toolkit on the back of the headstock. The American-X Series.
I’m not much of a hardcore fan, but that was really cool and his attitude is awesome: Just plug that shit in and play it. Tone sounds killer and the Virtuoso is one of my favorite guitars I own too. It’s hard to beat either a JB/59 or an EMG 81/85 set. Both almost always sound 💪.
that fender modeler must be pretty simple to use! he doesn't seem like the kinda guy who likes to fuss over knobs and settings so that's saying alot that he's bought into it.
Why does that bother you? Tech generation scares me how much they want everyone to think, act, have the same concerns and interests they do…not to mention how much they need to let everyone know what offends them and then damn or get offended by all those that don’t think the same… does the fact that he doesn’t know exactly what pickups are in his guitar make him any less of a player? Some players don’t worry as much about the tech side of things, and some do. Personally, I listen to all sorts of music, and I like the fact that I can listen to different types of players, all with different approaches. Some are more technically advanced, some are just good songwriters. We are in a good age for guitar players. Compared with the 80s and 90s, I feel like there’s more unity in rock and roll and all the sub genres it has spawned than ever before, which is great for the fans. In the early 90s, it seemed like everything was so segregated as far as the artists were concerned. Generally speaking, fans of one type didn’t like fans of another type. Now, you see bands forming with members from different eras and sub genres.😊😊 Personally, I love it. 17:53

I had honestly never heard of the band. I looked them up and bought their Living Proof album on ITunes. 🤘🏽
Love to see it.

Need that Worship rundown 😉
@@Twistingandturning that would be so fun. @premierguitar let’s do it.
Helllll yeah! Drain is your friend!
I love when players fiddle with their instruments while they’re talking. So cool, the sign of a true artist.

Hogan’s Heroes!
What a great rundown. Very positive, professional and positive interview. The's so much good energy in here.

Perry thank you for my homework today : flat 5th frigian mode learning lol
I'm super curious about the gear used on the "Living Proof" record... and even on the mic placement, that tone is pure gold

YES
SO sick.
Can you feel the fucking PRESSURE?!!!
Perry like to interview himself. All hopped up on Red Bull and Sweet Tarts.
Slapping some chorus in the rythm tone is such a good idea. Makes the sound wider and punchy? Whatever it does it works.
Drain hell yeah
4:31 Seymour JB in the bridge, 59 in the neck.
Based on what evidence.

The American-X Series.
The Gotoh hardware is from Japan so I’d say the Japa-merican X series 😂

That frostbite is so pretty in the light
Perry bringing big Fellow Kids energy

Alright that bleed over was fucking cool
Weekend Nachos!
Can we get an Alexisonfire rig rundown?
Oh f yea Drain bruh

But......there is already a band named Drain 🤔
When you look up drain band they pop up first

Just buy a Charvel. Close to a Jackson with the Fender headstock.
У джексона есть пара подписных моделей с головой фендера

Fantastic band but the tone in this video is HORRIBLE.
Yeah I’m not a big fan of the chorus on the rhythm tone
Ugh. I hate it when people don't know what pickups are in their guitar. Why???
To be fair i have a les paul no idea what pickups i have in it, sounds good never had to change them so no idea ^^
too busy riffing, who cares as long as it works
