- The Revell-Monogram 1/48 scale C-47 was introduced to the modeling community in 1978 and it is still a great kit! It has a low has a low parts count, it has nice detail, it assembles well and it is accurate in its overall dimensions and surface detail.
In Part-1, Mike steps you through the fit checks, the interior assembly and wing and tail modifications.
I picked up the AC-47 at an antique store. I am sure it will have the same fit and build issues. Thanks for your video.👍👏
Nice walkthrough, Mike 💥👍💥

Thanks
Mike, just picked up this kit( just a newer version #5607), will mostly likely have the same problem you faced, will be starting it soon, after the monogram B-17! Thanks for sharing! Possibly looking at new decals @ the IMPS national

Try eBay too.
Monogram kits were generally accurate and well detailed, but the fit of the parts presented many challenges....

They all have fit issues.
No matter what manufacturer,
I see that you have John Ficklen's F4F print...
@@AlanToon-fy4hg
Yep
He gave me several of them way back in 2002.
@@scalemodeling You know he flew west a year or so ago. Sad to see him go. He was an outstanding modeler and artist.

Yep
Unfortunately we had a falling out years ago.
