Zvezda is in my opinion one of the most under rated model making company out there, their newer stuff are often really good and enjoyable to build! The kits are also affordable which ofcourse is a plus!
Zvezda has released some great kits lately, love it.
I'm surprised that the engine compartment wasn't designed to be fully open, so you could see that great engine.
I may do some things differently , but you get the look just right . We can all learn from clear videos like this !

I had this video as a recommendation for 1 year and finally I watch it even if the Sturmovik does not attract me too much!😂
Despite being a bit over engineered, the latest Zvezda kits seem to have a good fit with a little care and are quite accurate.

Question? Why do you like the smaller scales like 1/48 or 1/72 mid scale? Anyway u could do a build in 1/32 scale? I dont know why but I prefer the larger scale. Maybe it has to do with my childhood building all the Revell and monogram large scale 1/32 scale? I dont know maybe its nostalgia or just more to work with.

A straight-forward build and paint job that looks great!
Finally, an accurate Il-2! After the accuracy dumpster fire that was the Tamiya and Accurate Miniatures (especially the Tamiya's 10% undersized canopy)... Correct nose profile, correct prop blades, correct canopy size; what a pleasure.

Built this kit a few weeks back. Was a bit overcomplicated at times but generally I loved it.
Im so jealous you didnt have issues getting the engine fit properly inside the main body, I had so many problems with it being so stubborn!

Ace job as always! But it would be too much for me. i did some inner wing structures for a paper model for a Me 262 to give it some strength…but for a plastic mould? No sorry i would throw the towel in! Great job! But too difficult for me - hate me now! 🤪👍

Great job Dusan! I like it! So what do you think? Which 1/48th kit is better? Tamiya or ZV? Looks like Zv is taking some building ideas from Zukie Mora. At least the fit looks good, a bit better than some of their kits of a few years ago. Congrats on another beautiful build!

I do love soviets machines ...Il-2 sturmovich is one of them, but I do need to build a yak, lag, Pe, the biplane of the witches( cant remenber its name now ! ), The big Pe-8 ( love it !!! ), well there are so many....Kv-1, KV-2 ....I need so more T-38 models as the 85.....you know what I mean...not only Luftwaffe existe ....

Amazing build as always!! I love watching your videos as they so informative and cathartic. I do have a quick question. Around 15 minutes into the video you start painting camouflage. I noticed you had lines that you were following. Where did those lines come from and how did you place them on the model?
Thank you very much! It's a simple graphite pencil, soft one. I have looked at some references and simple added the outlines.

just a request for these old eyes of mine, could you possibly increase the stroke/black outline of your text to make it a little easier to read? I find it especially difficult to read the text when your white gloves are behind the text.
increasing the text stroke would hopefully be a relatively simple improvement?

Great video as usual. Too bad you did not go for the winter camouflage version. One question: you never glue the clear part before painting. Why so? The result do not seem to be always optimal this way...
I was wondering should I do it or not, I really like winter camouflage on any subjects. Pictures where not so good in quality. I always test the clear parts fit before the paint process. Sometimes I even trimmed the clear parts if necessary. And sometimes I do glue the clear parts with Mr.Hobby Cement SP. For the new kits this isn't a issue, the fit is very good almost on every new kit so I can preserve the quality and cleanliness until the end with separate painting. That's why I do it this way.
