PLANET OF THE APES cocktail

Hint of banana with dark Jamaican rum, followed by orange-lime linger. Well balanced, very mild and easy to drink. Tribute to Beachbum Berry recipe. Comes in at 19% ABV.

MIXING NOTES: Myers's Original Dark is the best rum for this cocktail, but Coruba dark rum can be substituted. Adding more rum does not improve the taste of this cocktail. If Giffard banana is not used, decrease banana liqueur to 3/4. This would make a nice batch PUNCH for a party.

1 Giffard Banane du Bresil liqueur (France 50 proof)
1 orange juice (Minute Maid Original, from frozen)
1 Lakewood fresh pressed organic pineapple juice
½ Persian lime juice (fresh)
Shake 19 time with cracked ice, all into small mug, speared Luxardo cherry, straw
