PLEASE NOTE: To our dear Indonesian neighbours, please stop accusing us Malaysians for claiming that Orang Utans or the Rafflesia doesn't exist in our homeland. Do you think we would be foolish enough to publicize falsely over this claim by broadcasting this TV commercial all over the world?
I have no intention of insulting your country or the people. To be frank, I LOVE INDONESIA. Do you know a lot of music I have written were inspired by your culture? As a music composer, I know the roots and which tradition/arts we borrowed from. There are many of us respect your cultural heritage and its origin. So please, again I repeat - before you start accusing us for putting false advertising, do some research first.

I wrote 4 different versions of this and were initially sung by different singers. Client finally narrowed down to Atilia Haron and from there, everything was a breeze.

This ad and the port of dandong ad are the two adds i regularly come back too when I drink and feeling nostalgic about my time as an english teacher in china back in 2011 to 2014. Who ever created this add and who ever upload this thank you. I have fond memories every time i see this

I'm Indonesian and was born in Jakarta...I support this commercial. common guys, we don't have to argue of what God create to us, this world and her beauty...please, try to be backpacker and traveling around the world...then you'll know the essence of nature & culture or maybe size of us according to this world...why still arguing each other?

Of course! Rafflesia has always been in Malaysia. Confirmed sighting is in Cameron Highlands, Pahang, but I also heard it is available in Sabah, Borneo ;)

Orang utan can be found in Sarawak. And Sarawak is East Malaysia.

Besides it's never said in Wiki that's it existed in East Malaysia, it's even said it's endemic to Sumatra island which is in Indonesia. Secondly, the orangutan, it's said in Wiki that it's native to Indonesia and Malaysia, so in this case I don't said you do something wrong to put it in your commercial, but then it's not something unique about Malaysia. What I can said unique thing only can be found in Malaysia is the Twin Tower.

I didn't said your commercial video is bad, in fact in my point of view it's really good, but you must know why those 6 people hate this commercial (for your record I'm not Indonesian nor Malaysian). Have you ever seen other country put their tourism commercial that promote thing that belong to other country as well? Well, I never seen Korean put commercial about go to Korea to see Sakura tree (even though they also have it in Korea).
Haha, I saw both orang utan and rafflesia in Malaysia. Especially Sabah does a lot of conservation for original wildlife. So you might have a better chance to see those animaly and flowers there than in Indonesia. And don't forget Proboscis Monkey in Klias Wetlands :)

Most countries in this world will put something unique that only belong to their country, not something that definitely belong to other country as well. You can read on wiki about Rafflesia_arnoldi. It's definitely said it was officially recognized as a national "rare flower" of Indonesian and it's found first in Indonesia not Malaysia. This is the first thing you need to know about why your video provoked Indonesian to get angry over this flower in your video.

First of all, how can I prove you wrong when you in the first place, proven us wrong? I am saddened by this anti-Malaysia attitude by the Indonesians. In fact, 6 out of 7 dislikes are from Indonesia. While I do not agree that some parties in our country are plagiarizing your music and claimed it is ours (shame on us) but your general assumptions that all Malaysians are "stealing" everything from your country is totally wrong.
