I am a Malaysian citizen, born and raised in Malaysia. For the first 29 years of my life, I had never set foot in India, and the name Swami Gnanananda Giri was completely unfamiliar to me until I reached the age of 16. It was during this pivotal time that a profound tragedy struck my family, plunging us into a sadness that seemed insurmountable.
In search of comfort and understanding during a time of great sorrow, I found solace in reading spiritual texts, hoping to uncover the mysteries surrounding the soul's origin. It was during this period of exploration that fate intervened, guiding me to the teachings of Swami Gnanananda Giri, through the works of his respected disciple, Swami Haridhos Giri. A remarkable event occurred in 1994 when Swami Haridhos Giri achieved Jalasamadhi, a conscious departure from the physical body, in the sacred waters of the Alaknanda river witnessed by his devoted followers. Although I never had the opportunity to meet Swami Haridhos Giri in person, I came to know him through his enlightening spiritual discourses recorded on audio cassettes.
When I first laid eyes upon a picture of Swami Gnanananda Giri, an inexplicable sense of recognition stirred within my very soul. It was as though our paths had crossed in some ethereal realm, long before our physical encounter. Overwhelmed by this profound connection, I wholeheartedly surrendered myself to his divine presence, knowing deep in my being that he held the key to unlocking the mysteries I sought.
From that moment forward, my journey took a transformative turn as I immersed myself intensely in the teachings and guidance of Swami Gnanananda Giri. His wisdom became the guiding light, illuminating my path and leading me toward inner peace and spiritual fulfillment. The profound sadness that had enveloped my family slowly began to recede, replaced by a newfound sense of hope and resilience.
Through the grace of Swami Gnanananda Giri, I continue to explore the depths of my own spirituality, embracing his teachings with unwavering devotion. His presence has become a beacon of strength, providing solace during life's trials and reminding me that there is a greater purpose to our existence.

One Mr. Seenu mama now in Bangalore was with Swami from his chldhood days Seenu mama used to bathe him from drawing well water several rounds Once Swami took him to Thirukuttalam Seenu mama was a young boy They climbed the Podigai hills when mama became hungry and started crying Swami plucked a leaf from a particular tree and squeezed the leaf and fed mama with that milk like substance It was sweet and mama never got hungry again till they were back
