I think this one is much better than the 2017 version. It's sweeter and it needed that. The original is still the best sport fragrance ever. I miss it. But I'm satisfied with this one compared to the other reformulations.
After spraying this on my skin and taking a wiff, it reminded me of an old colonge that I used to wear. It took me a few minutes before I figured it out - Issey Miyake L'eau D'issey Pour Homme.
Steven doesn't like DH2020, because he loves the OG dna more. Just like many others that have a hard time getting over that it is a new AND different fragrance. Judge it for that, and do not compare it. - It's way better than a ton of recent releases.
It's not a bad fragrance but from a brand like Dior i expect more than jusf another interpretation of Dior Homme Sport. The reason that Dior release new versions of their current Dior Homme line up is that they don't sell that well as many fragheads think. Especially if you compare it with the Sauvage line. Hello: Thank you for this review! I'm female absolutely LOVE Dior Homme SPORT edt. Also have Dior Homme edp and Intense. However, SPORT smells phenomenal, elegant, well balanced, pleasant and enjoyably Rich. Have a bunch of the Lataffas, Afnan, Maison Alhambra etc that are nice but do not live up to DIOR HOMME. Great review Steven! I was looking for a positive review on this fragrance. I only started my fragrance journey for a good 4-5 years and don't think I had the experience with the original Dior Homme like a lot of people have, but I am a big fan of Dior fragrances, and I happen to really like Dior Homme 2020 because I really like the note breakdown it's how I like my fragrances, I just finished my bottle and had a great experience, now looking to upgrade to the new Dior Homme Sport.

I know this video is old, but I just smelled this fragrance in store the other day. I used to own the original Dior homme cologne and loved it. The original DH and DHI I wasn’t a huge fan of. DH 2020 I really liked. More than I thought I would because of the Iris being gone, but wasn’t performing well on me. I sprayed several different colognes on as I’ve been itching to get a new fragrance lately and DHS21 and JPG Le Male EDT lasted on me throughout the next day. I ended up buying a small bottle of le male as it’s different from my grapefruit toned down sweet fragrances like the one edp, jazz club replica, etc. but I’ve been looking for a new signature cologne to rotate between the new ADG Parfum, Dior Sauvage edt, and PDM Percival. I didn’t care for this fragrance on my skin at first, but as the hours went by, I started to love it more and more. Though I’ve been seeing some bottles of Dior Homme Eau for men around and am curious to hear your thoughts on which is better to go for?
this is just a little more citrusy than DH 2020. it smells pleasant, but the difference is really not huge. haven’t tried any of the older sports though. I own a few backups of Dior Homme (2017), Eau for Men (2015 batch, pre reform) and of course DHI (backup).
Like the regular more at first spray but then it kinda turned powdery to me after a while. Whereas the sport (which I didnt like as much at first spray) dried down into what I was looking for.
I like the scent of 2017 better, but I do like this a lot and the performance of 2021 is better so I can appreciate that. It'll still be a spring/early summer staple for me.
Hi Steven! This review is an excellent analysis and breakdown of notes & accords! Your opinion is also well justified & expert. Thank you for much learning!
Great video! It’s a unique fragrance with the different materials it’s composed of, I was taken by surprise when I first smelled it. I think it’s the longest lasting citrus top notes I’ve ever had in a fragrance. The only thing I don’t like about it is the “sport” name and their marketing 😅
I’ve been wearing for a week, here’s my thoughts 💭: This is a casual all ages citrusy scent, you have to like/love Dior homme 2020 in order to like DHS 2021 cause Dior homme sport 2021 is a continuation, a more brighter version of Dior homme 2020, otherwise , just save your money. DHS 2021 smells like DH 2020 plus DHS 2017 and a 0.07 touch of Dior Sauvage elixir(opening citrusy part). Projection: 1.5 hours , last 6-7 hours on skin and +12 hours on clothes(winter testing). Very versatile. Recommend to people that are new in the fragrance world, has around +/- 50 fragrances, collectors, love all Dior line, like/love citrusy fragrance, only one fragrance person. CONS: smells very close to Dior homme 2020(if you have it already, it is a redundant purchase, I prefer DH2020 over this one), drydown close to Dior homme sport 2017 (again, nothing new or groundbreaking). I think DHS 2021 will shine ✨ in summer, it will projects very strong (30 mins) and it will affects its performance. OVERALL: 7/10 . Wait to hits discounters. Blessings.

Idk about “king of fresh”, to my nose it’s very citrusy yes, but also very heavy and sweet. I even got a lil sick from smelling it on me the first 20-30 minutes. I would go as far as to say that it’s almost not fresh at all idk 🤷♂️
I have both Dior Homme 2020 & older batch with Iris. Honesty, I don't like lipsticky Iris note, it is not necessary must have Iris for so call Dior Homme.
About a month ago I bought Dior Homme Sport 21 and I love it! Today I finally received Terre D Hermes Parfum and the dry down is very reminiscent to Dior Homme sport 21. DHS 21 is like a more refined less pungent rendition of Terre D Hermes Parfum, no joke. Both are good stuff! 👍🏼
Nice review. 👍 Haven't tried '08 version. I did like both '12 & '17. Kinda over the constant changing though. 4th reformulation of a sport flanker in little over a decade.
2008 version was the best of the three so far. As a fan of fresh scents, I’ve been looking for something similar, even as a niche, but have not found one yet. I am curious to see the 2021 interpretation.
I think you can still get the original Dior Homme as long as Original is written in the bottle, but I might be wrong. I love how Dior does Iris. Thanks for the review
The whole Iris thing really only seems to be locked by advanced fragrance collectors. Christian Dior is in the business to make money and don't underestimate that motivation to reformulate the fragrance.
Dior also came out with "dior homme original'.... from the reviews it seems like it was an upgrade, check out chaos fragrances review of dior homme original (this was a 2021 release)
I really dislike the repeating name policy by Dior👎 so confusing & tricky! Why they can't just name it otherwise? This scent by itself is OK! Anyway goodbye demachy & welcome to Francis Kurkdjian🍾 hope this new era will be a good one for Dior! Cheerio🥂 Ps the original Dior homme 2005 was created by Oliver polge & reformulated by Francois demachy as always👎 the original version of Dior Homme Sport 2008 was amazing♥️
Happy New Year Steven!! I never compare! Especially, when it’s completely different. I love the 2021 Dior Sport. Its magic with my chemistry and lasts forever! I already bought a second bottle 😍🌟

The 2020 Homme for me is just Meh, the original is so much more interesting. I never really got on with the leather in Parfum, but the Intense, perfection.
Great review brother 2012 Dior sport is definitely my favorite. Looking forward to what Kurkdjian will be eventually create. Dior homme parfum is still my favorite hands down. Love my Iris sents. Was a pleasure watching 👍
No Iris in this one but if you enjoyed 2012 there is a familiar addictive green facet in the 2021. Nice little call back to the 2012 while still doing something different overall
Wearing it on my wrist now. Surprisingly the performance seems to be better than the Gucci Guilty Parfum I just bought yesterday. Maybe I just have to give the guilty parfum more time…?
Smelled it the other day and thought it was kinda meh. My 17 year old daughter smelled and thought it was ok and then followed that up wit “that’s a Dior fragrance, isn’t it”
Love the review Steven! Speaking of Dior homme intense and Parfum, are they discontinued? I have searched every Macy’s snd Nordstrom in my area and they don’t have it, the websites don’t have it including the actual Dior website. Can you provide any information or know about this? I bought mancera cedrat boise, Rasasi Hawas, and Club de Nuit Intense Man LE for summer (although rasasi hawas is the only true summer scent)
hope that helps
Idk about “king of fresh”, to my nose it’s very citrusy yes, but also very heavy and sweet. I even got a lil sick from smelling it on me the first 20-30 minutes. I would go as far as to say that it’s almost not fresh at all idk 🤷♂️
I have both Dior Homme 2020 & older batch with Iris. Honesty, I don't like lipsticky Iris note, it is not necessary must have Iris for so call Dior Homme.
Always avoided this line because I found all the reformulations confusing
I totally understand that
Great review Steven , I’m excited to try this fragrance soon and review it . The bottle looks cool 😎
Hope you enjoy it!
It's always a delight to watch your reviews. You don't minse no words and tell like it is. Keep it up Steven.
Thank you so much!
I bought Dior Homme Sport 21 two days ago and ordered Terre D Hermes Parfum today) Love them both (I tried Terre early but edt version, 1.5 ml).
Nice review. 👍 Haven't tried '08 version. I did like both '12 & '17. Kinda over the constant changing though. 4th reformulation of a sport flanker in little over a decade.
There is also the Very Cool Spray
Thanks for sharing!
2008 version was the best of the three so far. As a fan of fresh scents, I’ve been looking for something similar, even as a niche, but have not found one yet. I am curious to see the 2021 interpretation.
Rocking mine today for the first time. I feel I’ll like to layer this with my DH (2020) to add it some freshness:)
Did you revisit it?
Do you think for a 24 year old this cologne would be okay ???
Yes super okay
I think you can still get the original Dior Homme as long as Original is written in the bottle, but I might be wrong. I love how Dior does Iris. Thanks for the review
I think the original is available at the boutiques as well. Thanks for watching!
Thanks a lot Steve. How can we recognize the original DHS? I need to grab a bottle quickly before it disappears. Cheers
Fragrance net has the 200ml bottle is that the newest DH sport ?
I love the iris versions but I'll try it
The whole Iris thing really only seems to be locked by advanced fragrance collectors. Christian Dior is in the business to make money and don't underestimate that motivation to reformulate the fragrance.
I liké it a lot , much rhan prévious versions and DH 2020
Dior also came out with "dior homme original'.... from the reviews it seems like it was an upgrade, check out chaos fragrances review of dior homme original (this was a 2021 release)
I really dislike the repeating name policy by Dior👎 so confusing & tricky! Why they can't just name it otherwise? This scent by itself is OK! Anyway goodbye demachy & welcome to Francis Kurkdjian🍾 hope this new era will be a good one for Dior! Cheerio🥂
Ps the original Dior homme 2005 was created by Oliver polge & reformulated by Francois demachy as always👎 the original version of Dior Homme Sport 2008 was amazing♥️
Great In-depth review my friend!!! Haven't tried any sport flankers of dior yet but dis 1 got me interested
Yep, I have 2012, 2017, 2021 love 'em all
So happy to hear that
Happy New Year Steven!!
I never compare! Especially, when it’s completely different. I love the 2021 Dior Sport. Its magic with my chemistry and lasts forever! I already bought a second bottle 😍🌟
2021 sport or 2017?
I ordered in 2013 2 sample vials of dior homme sport from some nobodys review on youtube blind buy and loved it.. i dont know shit bout frags but kinda got into em 1 month ago and was curious what the sample i got 9 years ago.. sucks its super expensive
For some reason, this smelled like a 5050 orange creamsicle bar. Despite there being no orange. Is woody , spicy, creamy, citrusy. Smelled good to me
It looks so nice I like it
Hi sir realy good job
Sir can you make vedio narsico blue nior edt extram please 🙏
Great video. What's a good alternative for Mont Blanc legend intense?
Does anyone know the last time Dior Home Cologne has been reformulated? Thanks
The 2020 Homme for me is just Meh, the original is so much more interesting. I never really got on with the leather in Parfum, but the Intense, perfection.
Homme intense and homme parfum are incredible going out and date scents
Some of us like masculine fragrances without lipstick vipe🤔
Of course! I totally understand that
Great review brother 2012 Dior sport is definitely my favorite. Looking forward to what Kurkdjian will be eventually create. Dior homme parfum is still my favorite hands down. Love my Iris sents. Was a pleasure watching 👍
Thank you so much, my friend!
No Iris in this one but if you enjoyed 2012 there is a familiar addictive green facet in the 2021. Nice little call back to the 2012 while still doing something different overall
Steven, hi, I don't get clearly... it's redundant to have both DH20 and DHS21?
Hey! I personally don't think so as DHS2021 is much fresher, but they have a similar DNA for sure.
Wearing it on my wrist now. Surprisingly the performance seems to be better than the Gucci Guilty Parfum I just bought yesterday. Maybe I just have to give the guilty parfum more time…?
Possibly! Spend a bit more time with them and let me know!
The first sport of this was the best. Dont like that they went with more citrus since then...
Exquisite review
Thank you!
The best Dior Homme Sport is the version 2012 with the majestic Iris accord: James Bond would choose this one! 😉☺️
It is flanker season in a major way ... the next 3 months are going to be nuts with releases. Let's see who wins 👀
Hahaha. Ain't that the truth!
Great review and I enjoyed it and I'm going to try it and have a blessed night
Glad you enjoyed it!
OG Steve👍🏽
If I'm right, this new version lasts on skin 24 hours
Do you think Cartier has been killing it with their recent releases?
Like which? Big fan of L'Envol EDP.
I’m actually not a fan of Dior homme 2020 but I absolutely love this one!
My favorite scent
2005 right D.H. 17 years ago its time has passed
Smelled it the other day and thought it was kinda meh. My 17 year old daughter smelled and thought it was ok and then followed that up wit “that’s a Dior fragrance, isn’t it”
Hahaha. That's a good one!
You gotta develop your noses.
Sounds interesting!
Thank you for watching, Jeff!
2021 or 2017, which is best??
I think I prefer the 2017, but that can change.
Definitely 2021
2017
2021
In the dry down this is Dior homme 2020 all the way
Thanks for sharing!
Love the review Steven! Speaking of Dior homme intense and Parfum, are they discontinued? I have searched every Macy’s snd Nordstrom in my area and they don’t have it, the websites don’t have it including the actual Dior website. Can you provide any information or know about this? I’d love to try them out if I can find where to buy them other than on eBay for sky high prices
Dior Homme Parfum and Intense are not sold in the United States. I've had to buy both through discounters
Smelled this today at Macy's and it smelled like a Dior 2017 cologne or Mercedes Benz cologne. Uninspiring.
Thank you for the honesty
my girlfriend like this fragrance so i gonna send her my 2 of my shirt that already spray on it. she said she want to keep it and smell it everyday.
That's really nice of you!
love the smell but last nothing on me so sad :(
I should have bought any JPG instead
Steven🐐 "THUMBS UP"🥊🔔
This fragrance lasts long!
