that new dior homme sport is great stuff. What's interesting to me is that, off my skin, I get different notes when I apply in different places. Spraying on my neck yields an iso e super bomb, much like DH2020. Inner elbows is a musky citrus combo with some of the resins peeking through. Fascinating.
I have this with other fragrances as well: they smell different on my inner elbow, often times sweeter, always thought I was tripping, maybe it‘s about the thickness of the skin there.
I *feel* like it lacks longevity and end up over-spraying, but my sense of smell is often muted from congestion and I might be going nose-blind. Love the smell nonetheless.
Been looking at rochas homme for a while now, might check it out. NR bleu noir EDP is so good, one of my favorite scent profiles of all time, the “cumin” note threw me off at first but I’ve grown to really enjoy it in this fragrance. It’s like declaration meets CK 1. Illusione I just ordered based on the strength of my enjoyment of Illusione Bois Nu which was love at first sniff and a blind buy. Illusione I read is similar but more citrus based, so I went ahead and blind ordered it. I don’t usually blind buy, but I do make some exceptions, thanks for the informed review.
Bleu Noir (only got the EdT though) is such a nice dumb reach! I think it's absolutely safe for any occasion. Thinking about getting DH sport as I am really happy with DH 2020! The Rochas really sounds interessting! Thanks for bringing that one up!
One cool video concept I just thought of would be doing a bracket competition full of fragrance houses. Come up with some judging criteria - $, how they cover certain occasions, how well they cover certain scent profiles, ect - rank them and have them go head to head in a bracket. Seems like you could get a bunch of videos doing that and we could learn about different fragrance houses.

I kinda want to get an understanding of what houses are doing certain scents right, who to go to for bargains, for the club, for fresh scents. Of course, many cover all - but what do they do best? It'd be like an MMA match tournament style (Ex. "Does house X's great barber shop fragance they are known for outweigh house Y's club designer?"). He could even provide a story of their history before the breakdowns and judging. It'd be different than the typical top 10 (swap out descriptive term) for (swap out event) 🤷♂️ Just trying to help throw out ideas from time to time to keep stuff fresh. I saw a video he or someone else did about a struggle for ideas

Bleu Noir EDP is amazing! I smelled it and bought it right away for my boyfriend. It's very sexy and attractive. He gets lots of compliments from me and a few times from other women lol. It projects well I think because I can smell it in the hall for a few hours after he sprays it. It's elegant and sexy. Beautiful! It's a winner.
I own and enjoy "Rochas L'Homme" and I noticed that it has a similarity to Zadig & Voltaire's "This Is Him". Do you notice that yourself? From Rochas, I also own and enjoy "Moustache EDP" and "Man".
@@GlitchRodgers I know that I like it, and I also like Michael Jordan "Legend" which is similar to it. I own current batches of both of them and the performance of both of them is good enough and the scent of both of them is enjoyable. Rochas "Man" can be considered synthetic, so keep that in mind. I'm glad that I have both of them in my collection.

Tried Dior Homme Sport recently at a sephora and found it extremely similar to DH 2020, maybe just a tad lighter. Having said that I'd like to pick one of them up, also intrigued by Rochas l'homme as well as I'm very basic and enjoy "blue" scents lol.

Yeah I have L'Homme Rochas. Apparently it's similar to (but better than) the D&G K line according to Gent Scents and I kind of understand that, there's a bit of a subtrend for blood orange and juniper. I think Chris from Scent Land really liked it, which convinced MrSmelly1977, and eventually I blind bought it. Ought to wear it more. Today I'm wearing Acqua di Parma Colonia Futura.

Try Gucci Pour Homme if U haven't already .. I didn't like that Rose one either by far.. But Gucci Pour Homme Edt is perfect for 70 & 80's (Spring/Fall) most of the day & U can pull it off in the Summer( but just lighter on the trigger).. 85⁰ to 90⁰

To me Narciso Rodriguez Blue Noir EDP smells exactly like mixing Declaration with the original Azzaro Chrome. Wrote this as a comment both in Fragrantica and Parfumo.

You should try Rochas Mustache EDP. If you like YSL Tuxedo then Mustache EDP should be your next addition from the Rochas house. You’ll thank me later 💪🏼

cool video, Ive got L'homme but if You want something TRULY SPECIAL from the house of Rochas try and sample LUI by Rochas (50ml or 100ml) ..long discontinued but still available to find (although less and less) price mark of around £100-£150 so not cheap but SO WORTH IT in my humble opinion ; )
Guilty EDP is worse than Black or the EDT. I don't like the prominent rose. Dior Homme Sport 21 is awesome & elegant, and a great performer. I've been looking at Rochas L'homme. The Bleu Noir Parfum is the one I wanna try. The EDP is too much like the EDT, just notes removed. EDT is better. Illuisione is a good scent.

I'm shocked by how inaccurate so many descriptions are to my nose so I've began trying my hardest to get my nose on things before blind buying off of recommendations. I could probably sell off half of my collection due to blind buys in the past. It's really unfortunate. That drydowm was absolutely amazing to me. 10 hours after it was a skin scent but it was so darn good.

I just got ATH hard candy and high voltage. I'd recommend hard candy it's unique to my nose,like nothing I've smelt, very good.
Rochas Moustache EDP is a very nice fragrance and is often compared to YSL Tuxedo which I can understand as I have both.

I understand you did this to be involved with the frag com, but I worry that you're starting to slip down the hole again. I'm having some flashbacks to your past videos about selling off your collection because they were purchased for the wrong reasons. I'm not trying to tell you how to spend your money... Just a friendly reminder from another "collector" who's been there.
That’s why this purchase was a calculated one. I’m not buying based on hype, which is the mistake I made last time. I’m buying based on what looks interesting to me.
@@stayfreshproductions understandable. I seem to be consistently let down by blind buy purchases. As you know, everyone's noses are different. I'm shocked by how inaccurate so many descriptions are to my nose so I've began trying my hardest to get my nose on things before blind buying off of recommendations. I could probably sell off half of my collection due to blind buys in the past. It's really unfortunate. I wish there were more places to sample near me so I didn't have to waste so much on overpriced samples online.

I don't get the love for Rochas L'homme, the note breakdown made me confident that I would like it but then when I got it in, total disaster. Not my style at all, it provokes my gag reflect. Can't wait to give it away to an uncle or my grandfather. Try it first, it's very different.

It lasts 8+ hours on me. Tons of synthetics in there to help it stick around
