I went to the department store and smelled a bunch of the “popular” mens fragrances. I gave this one a try and was surprised how different yet pleasant it smelled. Very masculine, fresh, woodsy and musky. I walked out of the store with this one. It’s one of my favorite scents and get plenty of compliments. I would also give it a 9/10.

@@MyTEEsharp1it’s not similar to Chanel at all. It doesn’t smell like any popular cologne but I would compare it to a mixture of Armani Code Parfum and Tom Ford Vetiver

I got a sample of this and immediately ordered a full bottle. The vetiver sticks out in a big way for me. MANLY! 💪

Had a girl told me once "why do u always smell like masculine musk. does ur body produce?" to her nose it smelled natural it didn't occur to her its a fragrance
NR Bleu Noir is vetiver and musk scent, not blue at all. You can compare it to Grey Vetiver, Terre d"Hermes or Guerlain Vetiver.

This, to me, is like baby powder in a bottle but even fresher and cleaner. It brings to mind a fresh, crisp, spring or autumn day; not too warm, not too cold, blue skies and a guy walking around the city having a good time. If you want to smell _clean_ and charming, this is it. A very inviting and calming fragrance, imo.
Narcisso Rodriguez is really underrated. For a designer scent it is very “own style” type of fragrance. Now for me personally, even though I’m a guy, I freaking love ‘For Her’ EDT the one in black bottle.
Something about it is classy sexy and gentle. I even wear it sometimes. I’m comfortable with my masculinity and I ain’t even afraid to admit I wear a woman’s fragrance. You like what you like init
Oh I have this and I also have the men edp. Woody, ambery, musky. I wear it on rainy days mostly. It is gentle, an acquired taste to most I say, but fragrance lover will understand the complexity of it whilst being tamed.

I bought this recently. Excellent everyday fragrance. It's fresh, masculine and musky without being overpowering. Really good on the dry down and best of all, it's different. So...SHHHH, keep it secret!

I agree Narciso Rodriguez for her is one of my staples and his men's fragrances are certainly no slouch either. The original for him smells exactly like petrichor and wet cement while this one is a sexy, masculine blue fragrance. Can't go wrong with this house as far as I'm concerned.
Now it's time to buy it ... your right people dont talk about it .. ash for gentscent recommend it for office wear only on his channel but he did say it was a hidden gem .. as always curly looking beautiful and stunning 😍😍😍😍
I've had this on my "buy" list for a while. Longevity seems to be an issue though, if reports are accurate.
Never listen to s*ssysprayers, they always have issues with longevity & projection

Get the EDP not the EDT. The EDT is weak.

Bought this one because of your review.. You were SPOT On. The compliments from women were instantaneous. Next to Percival by PDM...this fragrance probably got me the most memorable compliments ever. Just purchased my 2nd bottle. I think its better than Bleu De Chanel.
How long does it last on you?
6 hours easy to my nose...I've gotten compliments at 8. It's more pronounced in Spring/Summer but its an all season fragrance to me. @@jadonfyeet7461
The Start of the scent is good, but the dry down is average. I recommend NR for Him EDP

@@jermss_ nice i meant the Bleu noir for him EDT, I haven't tried For him EDT nor EDP tho I'll buy a vial this week for each and let you know. I tried it this weekend (Bleu noir for him EDT) bought a sample and sprayed it on the neck of a flannel shirt and it smelled great 👍🏻
Just got it in today and it’s amazing, probably my best blind buy yet 🙌🏾
I have worn this for a few days now. It does smell good. My only down fall is that i lose the scent withing 2-3 hours of wearing it. It definitely becomes a skin scent around that 3 hour time frame. Unless someones nose is glued to my shirt / neck, no one can smell it. Neither can I. I thought I had gone nose blind to it, but no.
I agree, I got a sample it only last like 4 hours and and had to reapply and I keep my skin moisturized and I use Vaseline on my pulse points! I love the scent but you gotta spray heavy at least 10 to 15 not including the clothes..

Excellent fragrance that can be a staple in any man's collection. Can be worn for any occasion and in all seasons.
I own both, the EDT and EDP. In my humble opinion, the EDT performs better on me and I receive more compliments with it. The EDP it's more soapy and powdery. Hand down to your channel I really like your reviews. The EDP version I only get like 3 hours of performance with the other version around 6. I enjoy more the EDT big time.
For me EDT is brighter in opening and longevity is a little better, EDP 2-3h and EDT a little longer. If longevity is better it could be one of best out there. Scent signature is fantastic.
Does edt smell a lot better than edp?

Curly, i just bought this gem after being convinced by your review, have to say its excellent im from a pretty warm country all around and i think that really helped with the performance i had it on at 3 pm at 12:00 am i still can smell the fragrance to a decent level.
You should try Prada Amber Pour Homme. Best soapy, clean fragrance available.

Am getting a noticeable resemblance with Lalique Encre Noir that I didn’t see anyone else talking about, so maybe it’s just my nose…
for me this is like Encre Noir when he was younger, more energetic, more outdoorzy, but also in his mature career booming years (so basically 30’s)….OR u could say he is the son of Encre Noir and Bleu de Chanel EDT, and Terre D’Hermes could be his distant uncle 😄😄

Hi I just got as a birthday gift for my son. I ordered it based on your review! I think you should talk more about performance and longevity so your viewers can have better idea about this cologne! The performance and longevity are very mediocre. The smell does project less that one foot, and performance doesn’t las more that one hour!!! What cologne is this? Even the counterfeit cologne can perform more!!! I don’t know if I’m future I will trust your review to buy a cologne!!

I bought an ADT of Narciso Rodriguez in the early 2000s from Harvey Nichols, but it wasn’t this one. I think it was in a clear or white bottle. It was spicy and a woman at work complimented me on it at the time. I might give this one a try. It sounds really nice.
Just got the Bleu Noir Parfum recently. Love the fragrance, unique, however wish it was stronger and longer lasting, you would need to overspray. It kinda reminds me of JPG ultra male without the synthetic drydown. Rate: 8/10 Smell: 8/10 Longevity: 6/10

You think you buy a big bottle that lasts loner, but the sprayers on bigger bottles spray way more per spray, that it for your economy. but NR noir is an excellent fragrance 9/10 for me

I tried the Edt and the latest one the parfum. I end with the Parfum. It's smell more sophisticated than the edt. Parfum is a manly scent for those who haven't tried it yet but not over powering. now i womder whats the diff between edp and the parfum

YM is an amazing parfume! It's a bit similar to Blue Noire. I can call him Green Noire - high quality, complex, fresh, attractive, sexy. YM is perfect.

Have been trying some blue fragrances and this one is WAY better than Y, Bleu or Sauvage. Oh yes. Really. The drydown is great and the performance is so much better than Aqua di Gio. Shhht don’t tell this to anyone, let them all buy Sauvage or Bleu 😂

I have both the EDP and the EDT and the EDT is superior and it gives a large scent trail....I almost never use the EDP over it..

Michella, I agree with you and your comments about Narciso Rodriguez Bleu Noir. I own the fragrance and I like it a lot. Have you tried Narciso Rodriguez for Him? It is a discontinued fragrance that Francis Kurkdjian made in 2007.
It smells different but to be honest not in a great way. Smells a lot like bombay mix with a hint of lemon and freshness. Drydown improves slightly but its definitely not a safe blind buy.
I just got this based on your review. It's worth pointing out to people watching the video: it's not really a blue scent in the way that Sauvage or YSL Y is. What I get are the musk and the iris and to me, it smells like body lotion + slightly makeup-y.
Yes, it is good, but it's more like a night-out scent (to my nose, at least), not shower gel-like. It smells suave, not sporty/fresh. It's also quite thick I'd say, definitely not a gym scent.

i can not see inside my bottle at all it’s too dark to see how much liquid is left 😂 all i know is it smells so good that it won’t take long for me to go through it lol. Good recommendation.

Michella both on Fragrantica and Parfumo seems to get compared to Cartier Declaration, but just Declaration, which is different from Declaration D'Un Soir (which has rose, the normal Declaration does not).
