I would recommend using neither Zoom nor a Field of view below 90. Both settings make you crop into the sensors resolution and stretching the result to Whatever resolution you set your webcam to. It kinda works at 1080p but the better result will likely be achieved by running the cam at 4K and crop into it yourself. But no matter what you choose to do: You loose details and get a noisier image. So if you want the most detail and as little noise as possible, go for no Zoom and put the webcam closer, for instance, by using a webcam arm.
What’s a webcam arm? How can it be put on top of the monitor in front of me?
Hi! I purchased the Brio ; however, it's not recognizable on my HP Spectre laptop (64-bit). Any suggestions? Under device manager it reads, "The drivers for this device are not installed. (Code 28)
There are no compatible drivers for this device."

Dude that's a great video! Really helpful. One question though - so let's say I am using Zoom for con calls; then I have 0 control over the resolution/colour correction/etc.? (i.e. whatever settings a specific application has, I'll have to make peace with that?)

I have two Logitech BRIO (4k 30fps/HD 60fps) cameras. But for some reason the Logitech capture software not only breaks OBS (in the latest version) it also insists on setting the resolution the SAME. IE: I have to pick "HD 60fps" for both if I want or "4k 30fps" for both. Why is this? IS there a way round it? It's ridiculous because I want to have a wide shot at raw 4k 30fps and "digital zoom" it in manually using OBS (I stream at 720p) and have a close up camera too. Totally awful that I cannot do this. Has anyone ever found a way round it?

in logitech G HUB i can't adjust resolution (bad) i'm using zoom when im streaming meetings where can i adjust from 720p/1080p to 4k in g-hub
you cant adjust the resolution in g hub, the zoom resolution is capped at 720p i believe.

Hi. I downloaded GHub. Do you know why there is. 4 second lag in the camera capture window and all the settings are greeted out and inaccessible. PS: my goal is not for gaming, but straight ahead musical performance. Thanks!

Hey there - great channel! Very helpful. Hoping you can help me - I bought this webcam to film my golf swing in 60 fps. I'm told that I need to place the camera in MJPEG mode in order to do this on the golf simulator software I have. Can you advise me on how to get the camera in that mode? Thank you.

Just got the brio and I can't select 60FPS in OBS. It's not even an option. How do I fix this?
You need to put the Logitech wire into a USB 3.0 port. Furthermore, Find out which USB port is USB 3.0 and make sure that the specs of your computer are good enough to run at 60 FPS.
Any ideas on why my profile specs are grayed out. I created two additional profiles for Zoom and Skype, but I'm not able to change the settings.
just go in camera mode and click new camera mode then u will be able to change those things

I was emailed the link to launch brio but it dosent' work no matter what I try. I guess it works for other people but not for me. I have to now bring the webcam back to target for a refund. Bummer.

I can't change the camera settings in my ghub. Any idea how to fix it? I have downloaded the new firmware and logitech camera settings but still does not let me change settings.

For some reason my settings are locked and I cant seem to play with any of the settings you׳re showing... help?

Go under Camera Mode, then select new camera mode and it will then allow you to make adjustments

This ghub only working with logitech brio stream edition not with logitech brio 4k webcam whereas as for setting we only have to use camera settings app and still there are many issues multi methods used even hard to stream full hd 60fps via same even lisps sync or lag occurs with 30p
Fps as well. Mac is capable to record Max in full hd using quicktime correctly and windows camera app somehow captured video in 4k without issues. These setting didn't work for me because I am sure you are using stream edition.
Very noob question... how do I turn the damn thing on ? When I click on it in the G Hub, it just shows a black screen
Search for camera app in windows. that will do it!

HDR on or off makes NO difference for me some reason. and picture is fuzzy even though i have all my lamps and lights on and had to turn exposure down etc as it was that bright, but its still like an old 2000s camera phone!

@@Henry1k I feel the settings inside of OBS is my down fall. I keep messing with those settings as well as my lighting. I probably need to invest in some lighting that is better than just a lamp on my desk. Any suggestions?
UbaJones more light the better the quality, deffo worth investing in a ring light. Change all settings in g hub, leave obs as factory settings.

You need to create a new profile, do this by clicking on the drop down and there should be something about creating a profile
how do i simply get the brio to look crisp and clear in zoom?

You'll need an Intel i5 or i7 CPU Quad core minimum like i5 -6500 or i7 6700k running greater than 3.5GHz, 8GB (16GB recommended) dual channel memory DDR4 2133 MHz minimum best with 2400MHz or higher, Windows 10 Home or Pro (hard to operate on Win 8.1, Win7 is terrible), latest USB 3.0 drivers, GPU nVidia GTX 970 or newer, removal of old Webcam drivers and related Webcam or Logitech programs. If your GPU / Graphics card is not a GTX 980ti or higher like GTX 1060, 1070 then forget about 4K with the Logitech BRIO also you would need a 4K Monitor. There is still little support for 4K webcams. If you require 4K use something like Canon M50 or SONY A6000 mirrorless cameras with other items like a Rode microphone that unfortunately will cost greater than $850 and beyond for an adequate set up. The Logitech C922 is affordable and excellent however, the features on the BRIO are a tad bit better at twice the price. The biggest gripe with the BRIO is it mount and not suitable in a dark room then the amount of time required to get the settings properly adjusted. - - The BRIO is still available at Lenovo as of February 2021 even though the sale/ promotion has been discontinued. If you ask politely for waiver of the sales promotion as to extend the offer to you on Logitech BRIO via online chat sales representative. Pay $159.99 which is 20 percent off instead of $199.99. She was nice enough to ask her manager for approval. Lowest price found was on Amazon at $192. I am still surprise as this product was first released in 2017 or 3 years ago and commands original MSRP of $199.99 USD. Even on Logitech website store it is not discounted. Wonder when Logitech will release a newer webcam product that out performs this one as it has been over 3 years that is under the $200 mark. They have a top Professional Teleconferencing cam which cost close to $1,200 but a far stretch from my budget.

Logitech capture is the new software and TBH its fucking trash. I rather just run the webcam straight through OBS or Streamlabs. IS there a better 3rd party webcam software? The Logitech software is not NEARLY good enough for tweaking. you can barely do ANYTHING...
