What a great video. “Only 7”, but what a great 7 it looks to be. How encouraging to hear of their “camaraderie”. I don’t live in WY, but perhaps on our next visit to Yellowstone we can schedule in time to make this crawl even if it isn’t officially on. I have purchased Mtn Meadow yarn and loved it. I’ve also purchased some of their machine knitted items and been happy with those as well. Thanks for giving such a thorough review of WY yarn shops!
Thank you for the Wyoming yarn crawl tour - I want to do that some time! Have only been to Cowgirl Yarn and love that store! Lori is the best! Knitted my daughter a univ of Wyoming scarf from a kit I bought there when my daughter was a student there. ❤️🧶
I’m traveling in my RV and will be doing this yarn crawl on my way back home to California in August. I can hardly wait! Thanks for this preview. I always stop at Cowgirl yarns but haven’t been to the others yet. Exciting!
Thanks for sharing about the yarn crawl and featuring the shop and all our local vendors! We appreciate everything you do for the yarnie community at large! 🥰
I can't get over the fact the entire State of WY has only 7 LYS! We are so fortunate in our County having 4 LYS, and in the next two Counties down there are 4 more; that makes 8 within a short driving distance for us. I can't imagine only 7 in an entire State! Thanks for the tour, it was fun.
Okay I have to share these facts because I find them so interesting! Wyoming is the least populated state, about 580k people. There are only two yarn shops in the whole state of Mississippi which is about 5x more populated. Which totally blows my mind! I think it's pretty amazing that Wyoming can support so many stores! I totally agree with you, I feel so lucky to have so many choices of shops where I've lived!
This video was released at the perfect time as I will travel to Wyoming to visit my sister this month! I hope to get a few yarn store visits in, for sure! ❤
Thank you for a new vlog. Take each day as you can and breathe! It’s okay! Women put far too much pressure on themselves and it’s okay to take time for yourself. Life is too short, enjoy the moments that bring you joy, even if it’s only for a few minutes a day. You don’t have to be everything to everyone. Sending you ❤.
So nice to see the Cowboy Yarn Crawl recap. I really enjoyed meeting you, Kent, and Toaster when you stopped at Wyoming Yarn in Cody! Our shops may be spread out but they all have such personality and great customer service! Safe travels!
Thanks Natalie, for such great yarn stores to see. I'm waiting to find out when the NYC Yarn Crawl date is set in September. Most stores give 10% off, except Brooklyn General gives 20% off. My only gripe with some of the yarns stores you visit is. They don't have all the yarn on their website. The last store video you posted, on their site, it showed page one, then went straight to page 33.
Yay! The NYC Yarn Crawl is so fun! From what I've heard from store owners, maintaining an online shop is like a second full-time job. Sometimes it's just not possible for them to do both!
Thanks for the new video Natalie and Kent. How do you keep from buying one of everything? Haha! Give Toaster some ear scratches from your Ohio follower.
Usually from independent dyers. I usually find out about them by following dyers on Instagram! I go through a bunch of them in my Vlogmas series from last year: ruclips.net/video/_eLDkgX0L_o/видео.html
So much fun to tour along with you, Kent and Toaster. Looks like you had a wonderful time.

Yes! You'll definitely pass at least one on the way out. So happy you enjoyed it!
I've never been to Wyoming. Thank you for "bringing" me along!
Every time I see a new yarn store tour it makes me happy. Love your quality videos.

Haha it's hard not to!!
Random question but in a video you mentioned an advent calendar...several of them; what company are those from?

So there are no yarn stores in Cheyanne ??
Nope!
What is the purpose of the yarn crawl? I’ve never been to one.
I think to encourage people to go to stores they might not regularly go to. It’s also just fun to make a day of it!
