Because of this video, I was able to visit this yarn store today! I live an hour away, but I work in Meridian once a week and I can swing by when they open and visit for a couple of hours before I have to go to work.
I'm one of the spinners that brings in yarn to sell! I might have another batch coming in soon and every tag has the initials of the fiber source in the corner!
I love the locker idea. What a great solution for people who might live in a smaller space, who have no room for a stash. You can imagine someone who has maybe just moved out of their parents' place with enough income to cover the basics, but not much else: they could rent out a locker and ask for gift vouchers for their birthday to fill it up ;-).
What a fabulous store! That locker room is a genius idea! To be able to destash so easily and know like minded people will find it is brilliant! I just love these yarn shop tours so thanks Natalie x
I used to pass by this store on my way to work and kept meaning to stop in. Now I *really* need to stop in because I see some sock yarn I *have* to have.
Oh yay!! How exciting that you picked up a skein of Jadawoo Designs for your hexi blanket! Jessica is an amazing person and one of my closest friends and she creates gorgeous yarns and a warm and loving community. ❤️ I’m also going to the Fiber Love Retreat with her and some others from our local Tacoma makers meetup group! 🎉
Somehow, I have never heard of JBW before, but WOW! This tour was amazing... such a cool business/store/people!!! Thanks for sharing them with us/the world.
Si I finally looked up what LYS stood for, Local Yarn Store! Oh, that makes sense now. I think Boss Kitty was asking me about my LYS and I was lost. Lol
Erica is such a dear, so kind and helpful! I'm thrilled that you shared her shop with your viewers!
