I met Waka at the Airport in Atlanta and dude was so cool and laidback. He even hooked up by putting me on the list for the show he was performing back home that same day. He even saw me in the crowd and gave me the 👊🏾 coolest guy ever.
@@cousinchris5851 Without waka then there’s no chief keef. No keef and then you have none of this current generation of artists. Sit this one out pops lol

By far one of the best interviews I've seen in a very long time. It wasn't just that waka was speaking facts and knowledge for a hour straight. It was also Shannon asking great questions and allowing waka to speak. 💯💪🏿😤
Waka Flocka is a good representation of someone that used their star power and positively impacted the community/industry. He's way more intelligent then the average artist.
What Waka had to say was eye opening and very inspirational on a spiritual level. I to had to grow and evolve out of survival mode, and totally transform my way of living. The journey hasn’t been easy, but it has been rewarding. Taking better care of myself has awarded the universe the opportunity to do the same. So thanks for sharing Waka and Shay!
Waka is changing the world from the country to the state to the city to the block. He walks the talk and changes lives of those he has helped. Love the energy and needed the message. Keep on going harder.
This sit down came in nothing less than amazing! Shay doing some amazing work right here. Just like Flock said, Shay should’ve been doing this 20 years ago
Thanks Unc for having Waka on. He has matured over the years. I'm glad he's comfortable in his space and dropping jewels while do it. This was a refreshing interview. Thanks Unc Thanks for another 🔥 interview.

I used to hoop at these apartments on the southside. Me and Waka both over 6’2” so we guarded each other. He was hella aggressive in the paint but I used to light him up from the 3. Great competition. Good to see his growth as a man because we used be about to knuckle up every other play. 🏀😂
Its easy to forget, Waka released a lot of music in his career. I dont blame him for being over the music making grind. Time to cash your chips and invest, and take care of self, health, and family. So much respect for Waka.
I could listen to him speak for hours. So mature, wise, down to earth, and humble. One of the best interviews. So glad I watched it. My only critique…it ended too soon
Excellent interview but not just becuz Shannon was asking great questions, but because it is awesome to see a grown man be so honest about his life!!! Always loved you Waka but mad respect for you even more now!!!
Shannon Sharpe has now earned a my respect and a new Subscriber he let Waka speak and didn't cut him off at the best part of the interview ( hustling with no business sense)..

Good interview Shay 🙏🏾 Waka took ACCOUNTABILITY for his decisions. If more people would learn to accept their mistakes and make positive choices not to harm themselves or others... We'd have a new world 💯❣️
Waka’s been smart before he made it. Him making it and being exposed to a new world where anything is possible as long as you have the knowledge is all he needed to grow into the man he always knew he wanted to become. Love this man’s wisdom.
Yes, I do remember Waka being one of if not the only artist frequenting festivals specifically overseas. The only other cross over I remember doing this prior was DMX with Woodstock in the 90s
To this day Hard in the Paint is one of my favorite tracks ever. I remember his mixtapes Lebron Flocka James and Du Flocka Rant. Love this interview because its always funny that he says he cant rap (and I believe he really thinks that because he put out a mixtape called I Cant Rap) but he was one of my favorite artists while in college. I truly respect his growth as an individual.
Love flocka, he's a real dude and not afraid to be wrong and grow from it. One of the most fun shows I ever went to as well, he had a huge grin on his face the whole show and was super nice to everyone as well. You could tell he was having as good of a time as we were. Much respect!
Quality conversation. Waka kept eluding to external and internal success being a product of the power of the mind, and that he continuously seeks progression and conscious evolution. At one point he said he could be missing his limbs and be straight cause he has his mind. That speaks to the power of that thing we have between our ears. Nothing but game and an introspective look at his character all interview. Salute
I’ve never heard Waka speak before and I’m loving what he has to say. He’s definitely someone that these young kid and men need to look up to or aspire to be like. He has a good head in his shoulders!
Any inner city youth who are wilding should be shown this so that they know the power of growth. But give them context. Show them some of Waka's videos, old interviews, and/or maybe let them see Gucci and Waka. Let them see that these men were savages. Then, let them see this video. The troubled youth need to know that who they are now is not who they can become. This is truly a magnificent transformation and inspiring. What makes it resonate is that Waka has evolved and has not become a suit or talking head. You can see he's not a punk or a lame. His value of self and his priorities have shifted. Glad you are still alive Flocka.
