Building on the foundation laid during the first day of our search, Day 2 sees us venturing into new territories, guided by a blend of intuition, expertise, and the indomitable spirit of hope. Our journey takes us to the vicinity of Freehold, New York, mere miles from where Audrey's life took an unforeseen detour into the unknown.
*Ponds Near Route 67:*
Our search commenced at a series of ponds located within a stone's throw of Route 67, the artery that threads through the area Audrey called home. These bodies of water, nestled within the landscape, hold the potential to conceal secrets beneath their surfaces. Permission granted by local landowners allowed us to explore these waters with meticulous attention.
-*Catskill Creek and Surrounding Lakes:*
The day's quest also led us to the winding paths of Catskill Creek and several lakes dotting the outskirts of Freehold. These locations were chosen based on their proximity to Audrey's last known route and the possibility that they might harbor clues to her disappearance. The selection of these sites was informed by a combination of local insights, historical data, and the strategic application of search and recovery methodologies.
As we conclude Day 2, our sights are set on the days ahead, each step guided by the unwavering hope of bringing closure to Audrey's family. The search for Audrey Herron is a journey of discovery, determination, and the deep-seated belief that somewhere within the vastness of our search lies the key to unraveling a mystery that has lingered in the hearts of many.

Jared, Do you remember Drew Peterson and how his wife Stacy is missing? Well Stacy's sister was on Court TV and she found remains but she needs them gathered so autopsy or DNA can be performed. She found a skull. The police won't help her. She has spent a lot of money renting sonar equipment but does not have the means to go down to recover. Thought maybe you and your team could help and at least check if in fact it is a human skull she found????

Shocked you didn’t end up at Green Lake. Green lake is 48 feet deep, I’ve been at the bottom myself. Has a boat ramp. I’ve checked around visually underwater, but can’t see anything, but a proper sonar would have been nice there. Depth drops to 20 feet within maybe 15 feet out.

People have driven every round around her home & possible other rds from work to home since the morning of her disappearance, but you never know! The community continues to look!
I have exchanged emails with AWP about this case for years. I wrote in about the case a long time ago and they put it on the list and just last year, they told me about this search and the next one when they go back. In their last email, they said they believe that she was most likely in an accident but not in water and that they believe she's in some wooded area and unfound just like you mentioned here.
Hard to believe that her car could be in the foliage and hasn't been found by SOMEONE after 20 years. You have to remember the foliage disappears in the winter, plus this is a popular hunting area and I imagine someone would have stumbled upon her by now. Of course, you never know

So glad you guys are back on this one. Hope you are successful! (edit) Gut feeling - several things are not in alignment. I would start with the guy in the beginning who stated that he was: "flying" in regard to speed, that evening she went missing, if that was the case. how does he recall so vividly that she was hesitant in turning, furthermore that it was her? - High rate of speed / low visibility / nighttime / etc. I recommend that you guys go back to that full recording and dissect that dialogue. There is something there. On the same note here: You both were asking him leading questions; he was not following the lead - he stayed on 'his' own path..something is there. (The very first commenter on this video caught this as well: @hayley363)
Agreed. His story seemed to very rehearsed. What if he was driving too fast and tagged her? I grew up in the San Joaquin valley in Cali where the fog was notoriously bad; multiple car pile ups every year. You just didn't speed when it was foggy. Hope they find her. RIP.
why did the coworker say she was behind her and saw her turn on an unusual road and the guy said there was no one following her?? one of these stories does not add up...
HE pulled her over....betcha OR she hit a deer and he was the officer on the scene. Wondering if he has any ponds on HIS property.

I think you should still check those lakes that have lily pads. Years ago car could be in mud & not be seen.
They can go in those ponds and get the vehicle on a side scan. Maybe not deep enough.
Maybe use a metal detector?

If you guys come back to the area, you should 100% search the Hudson River because there is so much easy access into the river and it’s not that hard to get from Catskill down to the Hudson river straight down the highway because if anybody was going to do anything, they’re going to go into the Hudson River. I lived around here all my life Anything negative or illegal or people that want to off their self go in the Hudson River. Everything that happens in the Albany south area, especially foul always winds up in the Hudson River. You guys probably would’ve solved another case just because everybody uses that river to get rid of evidence, and to off their self and a good percentage of the access into that river nobody would see anything,specially, on a foggy rainy night out in the Catskill area.
Same with the upper part of the St. Lawrence River. I'm 32 years old, and I live in St. Lawrence County, and I've heard horror stories about that river.
Most of those reservoirs are no boats allowed because that is the drinking water for NYC. Some of them are completely surrounded by chain link fence to prevent access. Used to live up that way, traveled through there many times.

Hi, i`m from Germany and iam very proud of you. You do a fantastic work for missing loved onces. At the Video i was surprised that you say : the Lake is clear and its to shallow about the seeroses and other plants. In Germany seeroses can be up to 15 feet unter water. That is a very big Chance that the car ist underneed them. I realy love you and your Team and i hope that your work is seen from God to Bless you. Im proud of you and i pray every Day for your Team that you are be carry yourself and go forward to find the missing persons for the family that they have closure for there loved onces. The backroads of Greene County are absolutely frightening at night! So many twists and turns, and never a straight path to get anywhere. Everything is a hill or a mountain or a lake or a pond or a cove or a bridge or a stream. Very eerie and spooky late at night. And very easy to become disoriented while driving there.
Hobo Shoestring is missing, and there's concern that he may have fell into the lake behind his apartment. RUclips won't be the same without him.

Her husband's parents owned the golf course and were suspected of being involved with the Mafia that was in that area, something about fighting over the golf course property. It was believed that they got rid of Audrey as some type of warning or something.

Thanks for all you guys do! I enjoy watching these documentaries. I have noticed that often the divers come up looking very cold despite the dry suits...Diving in Alaska we kept a thurmus with hot water to dump into our hoods and gloves as we suited up-- no more ice cream headaches either 😊!

True, but I think someone would have stumbled upon the car by now. Certainly hikers or even hunters would have seen it in the course of 20 years

Most reserve are used to supplement drinking water to people’s home and commercial properties. For that reason no one is allowed to do any water activities on the water, including a swimming and fishing. If you beak these rules there is a hefty fine

You should look into getting in contact with Stacy Petersons sister. She said she thinks she found her sisters body and has video footage of the body but state, local police and the FBI don’t want to investigate to see if it’s really Stacy.

I have a question about the areas that you were unable to search. How can you clear areas that were years ago and maybe the area has changed?
We use Google Earth Pro and look at what the area was like at that time

Don't underestimate a swamp with lily pads. In Louisiana they can grow to the surface from 6-7 feet deep. Good luck. Love y'all.
I was wondering if it was a fact that lily pads are only in shallow water? I keep thinking if anything else at least use the depth finder to make sure?

Hi Re: Basic Creek Reservoir . To rule that out completely especially on the far side what about contacting the water authority for a depth chart . Also see if they would allow a row boat special permit . Surely they would probably prefer to know if there is a car in there especially as they don’t even allow swimming. Something is a little off with all those rules. Most reservoirs allow at least sailboats.

I think you must've ended the video before a preview for episode 3 played. It picks up when they come back again & it shows them on their boat in the reservoir while the narration says "the Albany water district has given us permission to enter the reservoir .... "!
The reservoir by my house is drinking water for Cleveland Ohio. Chain link fence on both sides of the water. Fishing off the bridge only. ABSOLUTELY NO WATER CRAFT. NO ROWBOATS, CANOES, SAILBOATS, NOTHING. AND NO SWIMMING.

Check out Lake Norman NC That’s a man made reservoir plus home of McGuire nuclear power station and drinking water for the dependable supply of water to Lincoln County, Mooresville and Charlotte-Mecklenburg Counties .They allow all craft . That’s my tap water source We have mechanical filters plus only drink beer lol. Bottled water.
There has to be some way for law enforcement to grant permission to dive teams to search the non-permitted areas. If they aren't available now, then they weren't in 2002. If the Russian Mafia is a possible lead, we all know the mafia isn't going to abide by ordinances and put a car into an area where someone legally cannot check makes like the most obvious hiding spot. Just have a strong feeling that's probably where she ended up since all other locations are just not physically possible.

There were actual Mafia association rumors because her husband's parents owned a golf course and were associated with and fighting with said Mafia about this property. The rumors came about from real information, not from this guy.

I wonder if she's over a dry embankment considering the forested area. Car's bottoms up because it rolled, possibly covered in weeds and trees. That location that everyone drives past but doesn't think twice about it. Where a smell of something dead back then was considered a deer/skunk etc. How well has every hill/cliff ditch area been searched? That people didn't see the tire tracks veering off road at that time.

There seems to be some misleading witness statements and a lot of curiosity as to where your investigation is. It's almost as if there was foul play, and people are trying to check to see if you're close so they can skip town. Good luck fellas!

There's usually 1 to 2 weeks in between episodes. You're a member so you will probably have access before the rest of us. It's still showing as coming soon now and it was just released to us today.
Edges of waterways change over 20 years, roads are moved also!!!
The police could possibly use underwater drones to clear those reservoirs. They make smaller ones for the purpose of finding things. I've seen them used .
I think you ended the video before you watched the preview of episode 3. It starts out when they go back much later but they get permission to enter and search the reservoirs.

One would think that people who are in charge would want to be able to get the car's that are in the reservoir that could really polute the water much worse than the guys that are looking for the people and vehicles that have not been found
