If you are still happy with it after this long owning and using it, I can't think of a more solid endorsement.
    Definitely on my radar now.
I really do enjoy this "update" series.

Great video my man and thanks for the shout out. I’m glad to see it looks otherwise unharmed after a year of use. One thing of note on the saya (and tsuka core for that matter) they produce their saya and cores in house…I truly believe that’s a reason we aren’t needing to shim them as well as the overall fit. Most my other swords with the mass produced saya have been shimmed from the factory in most cases. The care to my $189 Drem saya was equal to that of a $460 shadow so I think the bang for the buck is pretty dang high. Should have a T10DH coming from them in a week or two. Keep up the great work my friend.

@StudioGDT thank you, and yes it does play a factor on who makes the saya, now granted, it will eventually need to be shimmed, only because it's wood. But my dragonfly from siwode, I've never had to shim either, and I've had that over two years now.

Looking forward to seeing. Funny details, my Dremsword T10 DH came not 27.5", but 28.5" from munemachi. Also not the standard 0.7" sori, but a full 1". Polish was done by hand. They put out some good stuff.

@@KF1I’m not sure exactly how much work the owner puts in personally on a regular basis, but he is WAY more physically involved than most and I appreciate that.

@@StudioGDT Wicked. Yeah they're serious. 2 years after purchase, I sent them a q and asked Hong himself respond. He seemed very confident a DH L6 would outperform a T10, which is a huge step because the T10 is already top notch. No bainite, just regular *L6 with standard work. Must be a better steel? I've had a TH L6 before, and it was on par with 65Mn, nothing special but good enough to cut with.

I've been looking for a budget cutter to start off with and bought this exact model based on your review and followup. It was $84 on Prime Day, so I figured I'd just go for it. I didn't see your Siwode video until after the sale ended, or I probably would've picked up one of those as well. I appreciate the videos, there's not a whole lot out on there on Dremsword, so this was helpful.

For a little over a hundred bucks its literally a win if the ito and kashira dont fall off. Anything else is just icing on the cake.
