    I am a lawyer, but I am just starting to practice. This was interesting. I thought that 0-1 visas were very tightly restricted. It's fascinating that you know so many recipients of 0-1 visas. Also, I looked up the federal rules for 0-1 visas and they match what you said perfectly. I hope more lawyers see this. I wish you the best.

      I feel like the O-1 visa is archaic, there are many special individuals who can make the country a better place and can prove that they are special in their field without being a nobel prize winner or pulitzer etc...

    I moved to Canada when I was three obviously I didn’t know what was going on and all the paper work because my parents did that, I’m now 14 and live in the UK we only lived in Canada for a year and decided to move back which I really wish we didn’t I wanted to stay. I really want to move to America or back to Canada but it’s almost impossible. I hate UK schools they are nothing compared to American schools and American schools have lots more opportunities out and easier to have an important job where as uk it’s harder there’s not as many such as sports teams we just play on the muddy field. We have uniform and have to carry books and bags and coats around all day which sucks. And school meals are hella expensive. I wish I was brought up in an American school and I really want to be an actress but it’s literally impossible because the training is hard you have to get into acting schools and almost be born into it like having famous parents. But in my case it’s literally impossible to move to Canada again which sucks because my parents don’t want to but I do. However I’m 14 and by the time if we did get all paper work done to move and jobs I would be sitting exams when I go to school. Which sucks. And I can’t be an actress said by my parents so. Yeah. Life sucks:(

    • @mykillthekid2915
      @mykillthekid2915 4 года назад +4

      @@theblessgamers5558 Alot of people who immigrated to America have done it on their own, so you should too. Work on your education, get atleast a bachelor's degree, it's preferred if you get a masters or PhD. You will also need some work experience too. With these you can apply for a h1b lottery visa. It's not easy to get this visa since its a lottery and that's where the masters and PhD degrees come in you get a higher chance of being selected if you have a masters or PhD, but still nothing is guaranteed as hundreds of thousands of others will compete with you in getting this visa. A slightly better way is to get a masters degree in an American University as you can get a special place in a h1b visa. Your final resort is marry a U. S. citizen and good luck with that. And if you're reaaaaaaalllllllyyyyyy desperate and you want to sacrifice everything back in your home country then enter the US in a tourist visa and never leave the U.S. Only downside to this desperate method is that you can be deported if you exceed the duration of the tourist visa and you can't get a proper job too, since you require legal papers and you can't get a drivers licence. If you get deported or leave the US under this method you probably won't come back in a long time, that's if immigration will even allow you to come back.

    how to move to America - Earn 2k a month or more, have college education, be an ignorant upper middle class snob, be a hipster college aged snob.
    or marry an American but that's hard because they have regulations and rules on how it works. Unless you marry someone 3 months after meeting them then it's fairly hard

    • @lensview7680
      @lensview7680 5 лет назад +1

      Marriage route is hard because on a spouse visa you can't study or work and it can take years to prove to the immigration department that your marriage is bonafide which means in those years all you're gonna do is sit on your arse in America.

B1 is a business visa while B2 is a visitor visa. Here is the US Department of State link with all the visa definitions: travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/all-visa-categories.html .

If you got accepted you'll receive an I-20 letter where you should take it to your local embassy. Then it comes time for your interview. Good luck

    Heyy.. I have some questions..
    I wanna move to USA when I’m 18 or 19..
    And I have some questions.
    First of all, I wanna talk about myself a little bit.
    So I go to an international school in Austria and my english is pretty ok (I’ll have an IB when I finish this school).
    I wanna study medicine and if it would be possible I’d like to live in Orlando.
    - Will it be difficult to get a VISA?
    - How much will it approx. cost?
    - How much money will I approx. need till I find a job?
    - Are there any good colleges in Orlando?
    - How much do they cost? :(
    - Is it easy to find a job there?
    - Is it easy to find an apartment (2 rooms) there?
    - How much does the rent cost?
    - I want to wear a hijab, do you think people gon be rude to me?
    I hope some of you could answer these :)

      First off why are u wasting ur time explaining that to her? She doesn't care and she is infact not a lawyer. Do not take anything she says and run with it. Hire a lawyer or contact one for legal advices.

    • @nawrasnesh4124
      @nawrasnesh4124 5 лет назад +1

      No it doesn't affect ur chances to obtain a visa as long as you'll pursue the same career which is medicines. Don't go there wanting to study something else. Yes there's plenty good colleges in Orlando. You can wear whatever you want including hijab and no people will not bother you at all.

      +Артем Платинов there no visa that suits everyone, you would need to talk to an immigration lawyer, he would find the right one based on your background! O1 is pretty common for entrepreneurs

    Never been to USA. Those pile of files were looking daunting((
    I've seen a lot of your videos on GMAT, IELTS (live stream) and US universities and they all are very helpful. In future, can you make videos on European MiM or MBA programs(what makes a strong candidate or on what things an international applicant must focus on). I know you usually share your experiences when talking about US universities so it may be hard to talk about European ones🙈
    And how is your police car running nowdays?)) 👮🚓😁

    But the O1 is just up to 3 years, so after that you are screw and need to go back to your country.
    I don't get why stay in the states if you don't know how long you could stay.
