Hi Marina! I've been following you for the past 6 months or so and I can honestly say I am so inspired by you! The way you felt once you left your country is the same way I felt when I left mine 3 years ago. I discovered a whole different world, with different perspectives and I realized that I could accomplish so much more than I ever thought I was capable of. Next semester, I will do my master degree in the US and hopefully I will someday get the chance to run into you! Thank you for helping us with the videos and for sharing your story!
My dream is: after finishing my master program at Stanford University, I will join a startup focusing on machining learning and artificial intelligence. After the startup goes public I will return to China and apply AI to solve China's labor shortage problems. It's encouraging and inspiring to hear your story. Thank you very much for sharing! : )
That is an amazing dream! I love AI myself, but unfortunately am not anywhere smart enough to pioneer that on my own; but sci-fi movies are always an inspiration of what's to come.
My plan right now is going to Germany next year for a month at least because I want to practice my german and I really love german culture. Your videos have inspired me a lot lately and more when I saw this video because that is the type of story that I hear often and in your case is something that you really wanted and you did it haha. Greetings from Mexico and keep uploading more videos please! :)
Hii Marina! i found your videos when I was searching for TOEFL study tips on RUclips and I am really glad I found you! I have my TOEFL due in a week and I am doing well with my preparations, thanks to you! Oh btw I am from India and I am in the final year of my Aerospace Engineering and I am planning my Masters' and PhD abroad, preferably in the US because I want to do something for my country, with my knowledge and it has been my dream since childhood. I am so glad I found you! You inspire me a lot and yes, I am from a middle-class family but my parents have always been supportive of my dream to study abroad and they are helping me in every way possible. I have been following your videos and your preparation tips and I am seriously so thankful to have found you here! I really idolize you and I hope you keep on inspiring people like me for never giving up on their dreams through your videos and I also wish you all the best for every thing you want to pursue in your life! Thanks so much!
Hi Marina! Thanks for inspire us to achieve our dreams. I studied my degree at my country and I used to have a formal job for more than 3 years at that moment, then 2 years ago I realized that needed a change , I wasn't complete happy with my career, just working at a office, so I decided to quit my job and go to USA for the summer, I loved it and was an amazing experience for me that I did that one more year. So this two last years I've been traveling and living aboard so now that I'm back home I know that I love living aboard, meeting new people new cultures that right now I'm planing to go to Canada and study a new career, the career that I have always love, Bakery, I know It's not too cheap pay for school and living in an other country so that's why I start watching your videos to inspire me that there is some options that I could have, study and work, so that's my dream and I hope that I'll make it true, because I really want it, any advise from you Marina? 😉Thanks a lot again!!
I just started watching your videos recently and I think they are all inspiring! I'm a Vietnamese student studying abroad in Japan and as far as I'm concerned almost everyone have the same way of thinking as Russians like you've mentioned in the videos.(They just trying to get in big companies) But since I have watched a lot of videos from the US like yours, I have gained many new point of views. Please keep trying and making videos like this!!! Thank you so much!!!
I understand you so much! I'm from Poland and I don't have money to study abroad, even to have holidays in another country. I study vet medicine but my dream is to gain experience in UK, USA and another western countries. My listening in English is quite well, only thanks to RUclips and American series (I'm only watching with eng subs now). In a couple of months I will start to learn German and I'll have a holiday job in UK this year. Listening such people like you confirms me in belief that I'm on the right path to my dreams. Thank you so much and take care!
lol you are living in EU and have opportunity to study freely in Germany. What is your problem? We in Russia hven't got visa free status with EU and have to pay for everything to study!
My advice to you is that you stop watching with subtitles. Find movie(or tv series) you like and watch it without subs, and then with subs. Next step is to start reading news articles, like Bloomberg or comedy sites Cracked, then watch daily show then late show. After that there is Wikipedia and some novels, nothing big. During all that find speaking partner that has same desire to perfect English. UK has extremely expensive education, skip it if you don't have money, USA is the same. Check Sweden, they have courses that are thought in English, or go to Germany, but you have to be pretty good in one of the languages.
You can't imagine but because of you and your youtube channel I'm so close to my dream be achieved. My husband and I connected to the lawyer from one of your video on the russian channel and now we are in process of working on eb1 visa. I never can be enough thankful to you. Many many thanks Marina and big hi from northern capital of Russia : )
Hi Marina! I'm Luiz from Brazil. I've been watching your videos since a week ago. Today I've watched more than 10 of then. I feel like I can't stop. You're so inspiring. Even for an old man like me. I look up to you. Keep up your awesome work.
I live in India and I want to be a astrophysicist. here there is not much of Demand on that profession so I planned to go to USA and study, but I am from a middle class family so couldn't afford that but after seeing your video I think I won't stop dreaming about it...TQ
Hi,Marina. I am a student, a first-year student on bachelor degree. And I'm going to be an intepreter. I have a lot of interests such as politics, law, singing , languages. Also I fond of performances, you know, to give a speech. But I don't know what I have to do after my graduation from the University. I wanna be the best interpreter ever:D But also I wanna relate my life, my language skills with kinda "TV industry". It just a dream🙈 And of course I have goals and on of them is to study abroad. But I don't know how to make this goal, this dream real. My family doesn't have much money, so I can't let myself to travel or to study abroad :(
It is really nice to see your accomplishments so far your enthusiasm and intelligence is great. I am a prosthetists orthotist had a business fitting prosthetic legs since 2001 but got stressed and depression of running a business I am a thinker and inventive and I am working and some inventions and do simple things with my family I lost the fire and excitement that you have it’s so awesome to see good luck. The fire and excitement and worldly Ness is amazing that you put it all together and have done what you’ve done it’s really neat to see thanks.
Marina, I guess this video is one of the most honest and precious videos you've made. Keep it this way, you can really change someone's life and a way people think. I'll join "world citizenship" in about two years and want to thank you for the impression you've made. There's a lack of impression in Siberia by the way) Hello from Omsk:)
I'm really interested but you know my family can't afford my big dreams too but because of you I'll never give up I wanna dive future too, really really thanks🤗.
I have a dream to build my own website which is about food and restaurant guide for travellers in Seoul. But things don't really go well, I am still looking for possible ways to generate enough revenue to sustain my project...I am trying to spend not more than a 100 dollars a month. So I just typed in "spending 100 dollars a month" and found this video. Thank you so much for sharing your own experience, it is pretty encouranging. We are at the same age and I hope I can run my own sucessful business in the future like you do! All the best and take care.
You are my new fav RUclipsr!!! I am 23 years old & still doing my internship for my degree bachelor (4th year - Final year). I have started to grow money some right now by selling hair products but, just as a reseller. So, my goal is to have my own company by selling my own products. You've inspired me a lot through your RUclips videos! Please, please, please make more content on how you overcome every challenge in your journey of becoming a successful entreprenuer.
Perfect thoughts. I'm also want to travel all over the world, be financial independent. Today I'm struggle in my business. I lose money, time, fail again an again. But i'll never give up, because it's my dream, it's what I love.
My dream has always been to be a citizen of the world, and not just one country. I have an auto-immune disease (Lupus) I've been battling since I was 16, and since then I've always wanted to make the most of my life. Since 2013 I've worked a 9-5 job as it covers my health needs, but I'm turning 34 this July and I want nothing more than to travel and see the world. I want my memories when I die to look like a movie reel of Discovery Channel's Destination Earth, and I'd love to take the rest of the world along for the ride. I'd love to start a business (ecommerce, youtube, something) that can afford me the ability to do this, but I haven't the foggiest idea of how/where to start.
It was so great to hear your story ,, I' m a new immigrant to US and have the language barrier ,,, hope to speak english like you soon... I also get to take Toefl test!!!
We share kind of a similar dream! I want to be an entrepreneur and want to travel the world and face new challenges every day and grow day by day along with it.
Also, I have a goal. I want to get a Ph.D degree in Economics in one of the most prestigious universities of the world.. Right now I am preparing to defeat the TOEFL test. This has been difficult, since I did not study English when I was a child. Actually, I have just been training for one year. I hope to get the results that I need this year. Moreover, there must be another exam that I have to take into account, this is the GRE test. I do not care much about it since I have got perfect scores in the math GRE practice tests. I have done it without training, but, my English is still a problem. I know that I can learn quickly but Engish language demands much training. By the way, I just wanted to tell you that I like watching your videos because they motivated me a lot. Thanks to god that you live to show how beautiful the world is.
I'm at the other end of life. But when I was six (6) years old, I told my parents that I wanted to be an Attorney when I grew up. They backed me, and unlike some of my friends, I enjoyed my life, but I real studied, and did not fool with drugs or drink too much. Therefore, I started school at five (5) years old, and went to school for 20 years. ( K-8th Grade/ 4 years of high school/ 4 years of college/ and 3 years in Law School.) So by 25 years old, I opened my own Law Office. I can't work for other people. Soon, I owned my own building where I had 5 Attorneys working for me, and I was very happy doing just what I wanted to do. I was married at 29, but it only lasted 18 months. Marriage was not for me, and I had no desire to have kids. So I travelled, collected guns, drove nice cars, paid off my parents mortgage on the family home which my father built. I am now retired, and I live in the family home which is rather large. I do not like getting older, as your body begins to give way to aches & pain, which I am not used to. So, you do everything that you wish to do, as soon as you can, because life goes by fast, and you never want to regret anything. Good Luck, Kid!
linguqmarina , actually you know that, i always wake up early in the morning, i watch your video, really useful for me, listening and every part! really thank you
Marina, I love your story and your videos. You inspires me. I am also studying in USA. My passion is learning languages, travelling and doing something good about nature. You inspires me to dream big about this.
I'm not 100% sure if I want to live in the US all my life. But once visited this country for 3 months I started having this burning desire to study in this country and probabbly to work there for a while. I've read a lot that America is the country of opportunities and I had a real chance to see that with my own eyes. I'm completing my Bachelor's in a couple of month and I'm going to apply to some universities in the US. I'm so excited about all the application process and future prospectives.I want to become a hotel manager. I do believe I can do it. I get a tone of inspiration from the people like You, Marina and other persistent "never-give-up" people who acheived a lot and made their dreams come true. Thank you!
My goodness, I am watchin your videos something like a month ago but this one and the one from Silicon Balley they has touched my soul in a very positive way, speaking about age, I am way beyond from you, and I am starting my bigest proyect in life, having kids and wife, and it is very relaxin, for put it in words, listening your life story, by the way I have lerned more english with you in a month, that the rest of the last year, so WELL DONE, and THANKs a lot!!, sorry about my english!!!
I liked that video a lot. It had a nice, personal touch that develops an emotional connection between you and your viewers. Socrates once said that "a life unreflected is not worth living." You have clearly reflected deeply on your life experiences and learned important lessons from them. One piece of advice. I would like to see you define your ethnic identity more clearly and precisely. Who are you? Are you a traditional Russian? Are you a globalized, international Russian? Are you in the process of becoming Russian-American? Defining your ethnic identity more precisely gives us vitally important information about who, exactly, we are listening to. This builds up trust between you and your viewers.
Marina, just wanted to thank you sooo much for being an inspiration for me and for sharing the story of your life cuz that is really soooo motivating. Right now, I don`t even ynderstand where exactly my place is, so i would like to visist many countries and cities as you`ve said " in order not to stuck in my own little world". I'm definetly doing almost everything i can to implement my dreams and thank you so much for keeping me motivated!
Марина, офигенное видео! Вставки с городом просто волшебные и сама история очень вдохновляющая! Спасибо за твою искренность и позитив!) Успехов тебе в том, что ты делаешь)

I have goals I want to go abroad like you for german!I love English and trust my skill but I know I must go abroad for better trial and error. Thanks a lot for inspiring videos!
Marina do you know how much you help people by just introducing your lifestyle,I’m sure there are people out there just like me depressed ,worry about tomorrow and living a dark life
I'm watching your video on July 5th, 2017. I'm very excited about your story. I have this huge dream that one day I might spend time in the United States. Who knows someday to be able to live, to share the American dream. I am a professor of philosophy in Brazil and I am 36 years old and therefore this dream seems so absurdly distant. Sometimes I feel really discouraged with life in Brazil, with the lack of perspective, with so much corruption and so many bad things. But still I try to dream with a different and better life. Thanks for your videos!
I once used Linguatrip, and it was great. But one thing you can make it better in the future is that be more punctual. Anyway, you guys did a great job in Linguatrip and thanks a lot!
Your videos have so much motivation. I always watch them and the advices you share are the best. Firstly, I would say thanks for each video you upload. Secondly, about the question you asked I'm the video, well my biggest dream which is to study my Master or MBA in USA. I am preparing for that but I am struggling with the GMAT. Anyway I believe never is too late to achieve my dream. I am 24 and I will not stop until I become an international student. Greetings @linguamarina!
You're really awesome dear Marina. I'm interested in founding a private equity company in my country to help a lot of local company strive and become african champions
I study English and German just like you, but Im still a beginner in german... The point is, I know how is it like to feel the desire of being a world citizen.... Thats very cool! And I hope to travel a lot in my life and meet many people around the planet! Hugs from BRazil!
You’re amazing! My dream is to work for the UN so that I can help people around the world. I’m as you are from Russia but now I’m learning French in France so that I can go to university here and than I want to apply for an American university to get a master there. You’re so inspiring! Thank you
Congrats for your courage for this change it, only few people do it to improve their destiny. congrats now you're a successful person. Regards from Brazil.
I am so inspired with your life story. You are young, brave to achieve your dream, have a big dream (become international person :) i love this dream). I hope i can travel around the world like you.
i love your videos , would love to do my masters in the usa, i'm 26 ,married with two kids, but i do not have enough money to cover for my kids, coming to the usa has always been my dream,i pray it actualises someday
Keep up with ya inspiring content :) I want to study in America and will soon re-start my RUclips channel, I project my long term goals to be a entrepreneur and travel the world, simultaneously start my own company. Also to have lot of crazy friends and memories to look back to! At the end to make some sort of contribution to humanity as a whole. It is not a dream coz I'll make it happen.
Hi everyone ! I’m from Ukraine but already 3 years live in London. My goal is to move to US and study there. But I feel my English is not good enough to do that :( I want to be a midwife. I have finished Ukrainian college (I can be a midwife in Ukraine but the salary is too low to live well). Really hope that one day my dream will come true. Marina, you inspire me to work harder, get more money and keep practicing English every single day ! And maybe one day your company will help me with my goal :)
Thank you so much for what you are doing.... Thanks to you I realized I want to be world citizen and I want to be successful in order to enjoy my life as much as possible. You motivate me like nobody else 😊
My story is a tad different. I moved to the US from Lithuania when I was 17. Lithuania is in the EU and a lot of people are leaving Lithuania and it may not end well if there is no reason for Lithuanians to come, My hope is that I can help with getting investors to invest in business in Lithuania and also help students study abroad in a way that they would come back and contribute to make Lithuanian a better country. :)
Hi Marina, I am in my 50's and still want to travel the world and realize my dream. I want to be a travel writer and photographer and my lastest dream and passion is to learn Russian and travel to Russia. I live in the US.
My goal now is to pass the CPA examation so I have to work harder than before. The day from 22 years old should be better and better. Come on, your efforts count.
I live in the Dominican Republic, I'm 15 and my dream is to become a fluent english speaker, get a job in a call center (you have to speak in english in the call center) or teaching english then with the money that I earn, I want to pay my college and study something on which I can use my english. Something that I didn't mentioned is that I also want to learn more languages. By the way thanks Marina you always inspire us 😃
I want to be an international makeup blogger yaaaaaayyy!!! I learn languages too ♡ and dream of visiting the states for a little time (i live in Israel and happy here but i love to travel) ♡♡♡
Eric should've done this. He started with so little and worked all the way up to what he had. He was VP of his company a month after he turned 29. He'd been at the company 5 years and became Vice-President. I still can't believe that, even though it was a smaller company; it wasn't huge but it wasn't tiny either. He was a special person.
you are great! I hope you are getting enough sleep with your busy schedule. Goal: my own profitable company so I'm able to pay my employees and myself a decent salary and grow my business.
Unrealistic plan is to have small power plant on biomass. Realistic plan is to have small construction company in German speaking area. Considering that i can't speak German( yet), and have few more years of collage, it sounds like a plan. We have similar thinking process, just in different industries. P.S. your video about were you went in Germany to learn German helped me a lot. Thank you for it.
My Dream in be entrepreneur in USA SF or NY City and have people around me who inspires me and who are examples for me! I wanna follow My Way and do what I really want to do and what I love to do all my entire life with incredible people around me! And of course i want live in USA in LA or SF or NYC and traveling around the world, never sit in one place for long and be financially independent, I wanna that my business be my hobby and what I really love to do!
I wanna get a bachelor (honor) degree in the UK (since I live here) and then go for Master in the US and HOPEFULLY get to stay there permanently. Frankly speaking tho, I wonder if I can achieve my dream >. < Btw, your accent is getting better :D it's very smooth and clear ^.^
I don't know exactly what I want to do but I want to travel to different countries and experience new things, try new things, be out in nature, meet new people, learn languages. Live a healthy life style surrounded by positivity and peace. I want to have my own place to live with my boyfriend but the housing market is so bad and I'm only 22. I want to just be happy !
Марина, спасибо за видео которые вдохновляют на действия! В течении пары лет я перееду с Украины в США и открою свою компанию. Буду очень рад увидеться с тобой и подарить букет цветов в благодарность за мотивацию! Удачи тебе во всем!

So I just typed in "spending 100 dollars a month" and found this video. Thank you so much for sharing your own experience, it is pretty encouranging. We are at the same age and I hope I can run my own sucessful business in the future like you do! All the best and take care.
Good to see you...work hard to success..never give up
You are my new fav RUclipsr!!!
Thanks so much, I am so happy that you didn't give up and found some ray of light. Regards from Spain. Aurora
No te van a aceptar por ser de donde eres.
Francisco Pineda
please can you tell me what are your TOEFL and GRE score?
cause I'm preparing to do them in like a week
TOEFL:118.
GRE:
Verbal: 162.
Quantitative: 168
How long have you been studying English? Your grammar/writing is quite good.
Bro, I have never seen a guy who has over 110 on TOEFL.
its so inspiring that you're following your passion and you made it to America I wish the same too ^_^ best of luck!
I wish you the best in your endeavors too. Btw, you are very attractive
I'm with your channel from the very beginning and I see your progress through the videos ! That's awesome! Very happy for ya! Good luck Marina )
Thank you!
You're a living testimony, Marina. You deserve the best in this world.
You inspire me so much. Thanks for making these videos and sharing your story.

Marina do you know how much you help people by just introducing your lifestyle,I’m sure there are people out there just like me depressed ,worry about tomorrow and living a dark life
Thinks Marina, you are such an inspiring person, you give me positive energy. ❤ from Algeria.
You are always an inspiration Marina. Hearty Congratulations and keep Growing. Cheers !😊
Oh, I really love it. 😊 "Don't betray your dream." Yeah, I just wanna be like you Marina! You're Amazing!😘

Hey Marina, you are an adorable smart girl! I love your videos! you inspire me by telling your story! Good luck girl! Greetings from Bulgaria
👍👍👍there's a magnetism to you and your videos👍👍👍
Hi Marina, I am in my 50's and still want to travel the world and realize my dream. I want to be a travel writer and photographer and my lastest dream and passion is to learn Russian and travel to Russia. I live in the US.
Watched 100+ your videos
Love you from Pakistan
very, very, impressive. And your (American) English is OK, so don't wory about it. God Blesss.
Thanks. Just stay humble.
Frankly though, Marina, do you realize how captivating you are? You have so much brand potential it is almost frightening.
People who didn't believe in u they'll tell people how they supported u. Keep going don't worry it's just matter of time
I like the quality of your videos!! also your english. I can Understand it.

Yeh, I really loved this video... n I'm sure u'll always make this type of video to inspire us..
Thank u.. so much..
My goals are to become an entrepreneur, author, trainer/teacher. At present I'm doing my PhD in management.
