Hope this helped! When they advised the second c section, it was after baby William had the 4 minute heart rate deceleration, plus he was not engaged in the pelvis (doctor could not feel his head). Apparently both of those are indicators of a uterine rupture. That, combined with my history of big babies and him trending to be larger as well, made the doctors advise a second c section. And it really was not bad at all, it was a MUCH better experience than the first one was. If I decide for baby #3, it will be a planned c section and our last one and I’ll do tubal litigation after (we are unlucky with birth control) and hopefully I would not get pregnant before William is 18-24 months. All of that is because of the uterine window, which basically means a very thin part of the uterus which is likely to rupture. More scar tissue building up over time increases the likelihood of this as well. Thanks for watching!!!!!!
