Good video, I had to do it the other way on mine, I had to masking tape around the base then cut the old gasket, clean the dirt away the put the new gasket on from the top pushing it down to the bottom then push the gasket into the underneath of the aerial, took time pushing the gasket under neath but worked a treat

Exactly what I was looking for, thanks for the video! Love the "Hungarian Corsa Lovers"-sticker. I love my corsa, too!

I did it ! Thanks. But instead of using a wrench which is not easy to place in the deep place I found a better solution. I bought a tubular wrench with two sides (one for 17 the other extremity for 16). I cut this pipe and now the whole length is about 4,5 cm and easy to introduce between ceiling and roof. Also which such a pipe you can pass through the connector of the antenna so when dismounting everything is kept in good shape. For information the nut is 17 yes but its galvanization treatment make it a little bigger (17,2 mm) so use a metal file to make a little bigger the interior of the tubular wrench.
In addition the rubber seal (after 20 years has shrinked a lot so it cracked) but it's sometimes hard to find a new one same shape so I recommand to clean it gently with sand paper and then to replace with help of black silicon to get a good shape of it inside (not outside).

Thanks. There is another solution to this. See video from X8R. They have a Aerial Seal Replacement which is very simple and easy to install. You install it from the top of the antenna and you don’t need to open any part of the car. Anyone can do this

Szeva!Felesleges volt így szétszedni a kárpitot és a többit.....Csak kiszeded a régi tömítést, az újat meg áthúzód az antennán, és kész! :D

Perhaps a little silicone greas to aid it sliding into place under the airial base.

Nee nee. Der Gummi Unterlegdichtung ist trotzdem undicht und das Wasser kommt rein. Schlecht gemachtes Teil. Ich wünschte dass du den Kabel komplett raustziehst und mit einem Original Teil ersetzt. Danke für Video.
