And it had its own bridge.
I've been there at all hours of the day and night. It's safe. The thugs are north of the highway nearby. This is a desolate industrial with a few luxury towers.
Yet Arif Ullah lives in Queens. It would be nice if those working for South Bronx Unite actually LIVED in the South Bronx. I give this park 6 months before the ghetto goons and junkies ruin it.

There are very few people that live below 135th Street where this waterfront is, which is exactly why it's being developed in the first place. It's an industrial area separated by a highway, the "hoodrats" are mostly on 138th & above.
New enclave separated from the less affluent inland neighbors by an elevated obsolete no shoulder space late 1940s design expressway. All because groups as the Knights Templar get to control the show.
Hope this is the beginning of better things to come to the Bronx, bring in some nice and beautiful ❤️

Doubt it. It's too isolated from the hood by the Major Deegan Expressway. And most of the "junkies" are in Manhattan.
