I have a convertible mustang and I’m just tired of switching cars. My baby is 5months now & his stroller doesn’t fit unless I take it apart. His car seat is also an inconvenience for passengers in my car(knees to chest)😭.
In your opinion what do you think is the best stroller/car seat that offers similar practicalities like Doona at less amount but at the same time not shout you're poor.
so far there isn't anything like the doona that I know of. of course you could get a stroller and a carseat separately and they have tons out there. but if you are looking for a stroller that turns into a carseat in a flash like the doona, no other company has one right now! Check out your local buybuybaby store to see the different strollers they offer then purchase it online because they are pricey at that store.
Do you find the latch base to be helpful/useful? I know you said you don’t use one in your second car. I’m wondering if it would be worth it to get one for each car, or to use it at all.
We did not purchase an extra latch base, we only have the one that originally came with the stroller. I don't think it's necessary to buy two. You can always remove and transfer it between cars. If we were... lets say riding in an uber we didn't use the latch base at all, the doona has instructions on how to properly use the seatbelt. if you want to have that extra security you could pay an additional 150 but we didn't think it was a necessity when we could switch it in between cars if we needed/ were on a long drive.
Besides the obvious…How practical is it? If you’re going somewhere where you don’t necessarily need to make it a stroller you’re just walking around with a huge 35lb car seat and wheels. That would be an adjustment for me. Most times it’s easier to just grab the car seats for quick stops lol. Not easy on the wheels at the park? That’s one of the main times you need a stroller. It’s just trendy but I’m not sold for over $500. I wish there was a option to release the legs and wheels.
@@daniellemckee180 perfect 👌 thats only how I will spend that much money on a stroller we are gonna be first time parents but 500 bones lord omg plus buying a extra stroller yikes 😬
The doona goes up to 35lbs for the baby. Once the baby is larger than 35lbs they can no longer use the doona. Is what should've been said if I didn't say that in the video.
I specifically looked for a black couples review. You guys did not disappoint!
we really enjoyed it!

Surprised a black couple can afford one 😂

Honestly the doona is the same as buying a regular car seat and stroller separately ! Just like she said.

Love it!!! That artwork in the back is cute!!
thank you Dinah!!! Hand painted by yours truly
Super helpful! Great review!
Is it not bad to have a baby so long in carseat which isn't reclined???
I watch her hair tutorials. & i just came across this because I’m looking for a stroller for my baby lol
How do you clip it into grocery cart.
Thanks for the review!
Glad it was helpful!

@@JDEVINCI thanks
I seen some fake ones on AliExpress for around $200, but I don't think they come with the base, and I'm not sure how safe they are.
Marton Goba there is a similar one for 270$ its called the foofoo vinng stroller i believe its exactly like doona but off brand
@@prncessbaby16 they are not safe at all, they crash to pieces in the crash tests, there’s videos online
Do you all have this for sale if not using it anymore?
They are saving it , car seat doesn’t expire for 5 years if not in a car accident. Saving it for possibly other kids they may have.

Oh and outgrowing it? Absolutely not! That thing should be lasting my baby until at least 1. I don’t mind spending but it gotta make sense.
I use public transportation im thinking about buying this. Its just the price
by public transportation are you referring to uber/lyft or train and bus? With uber or lyft this will make your life a breeze.
