@@deligracyI have been watching your videos for a while now, love ya girl! So I have a PS4 downloaded Sims 4. What pack, bundles or kits for a first time player you'd recommend. I'm on a 50 too a 100 dollar budget.
@@jocelynrogers7384 as a challenge it runs a lot smoother on my computer too! all the items/swatches on a such huge lot had my poor mac burning up hahahah
I’ve been making a new holiday every time I move someone in, so everyone can celebrate what they like/fits their vibe😁 so far I’ve got photography day, gemology day, and gardening day. For Annie’s day they appreciate art and travel, gardening day is about reminiscing and giving flowers, etc
I have to say that this let’s play has been one of my most favorites of yours so far It is so dynamic and not one dimensional. I hope you continue after the challenge is completed. Would love to see them grow old and raise a new generation.
I love Annie/ Alice house! It's definitely my favourite one. With Frank, I just build his flower arranging skill up and then keep selling his arrangements on the selling table. Once you get to Rose or better yet, orchid arrangements, money will flow! And just like you said, it's so good to be a part of our Sims community. Just play and have fun! I feel like challenges like that bring us together even more.
I feel like the painting Azure did of the couple should go in Annie's house! I think she would appreciate portraits seeing she is a photographer, and all the others have an Azure painting!
What I did for Frank stem is limit myself because his earning potential is so high. I required him to plant flowers and harvest them. He could not sell any plants, only completed flower arrangements. For the arrangements, he could only make them if he had the flowers so they are $0 to make. He then had to sell them on the selling table, although, I did allow the 300% markup. After 1 sim week, I made the entire shell of a 122 tile house. After 2 sim weeks, I had enough to completely furnish his house and make it pretty expensive. I think his house is worth around $50K right now. I didn't even focus on making money as he was doing other things like dating and dealing with lot challenges. Flower arranging is a skill I used for the 1 million Simolean challenge and I think it took 5-7 sim days to complete, so yah, the challenge is to not do it so quickly and have fun with it.
We have like 14 degrees here in Finland and I was working on my garden in a t-shirt today. 😂 To be fair it was a little chilly. After cold long winter anything above 0 just feels like summer and you just want to believe!
This is the coolest let's play! The different coors, decor styles and characters!!! I'm sad it's almost over! Also: I was rooting so bad for you to remember the fridge 😬😬😬🙈😂
I’ve loved this series so much! I think you could also display some of Ziggy’s work in the gallery as well, like his cross-stitchings or even have him knit some small decorative items or decor you could display in the gallery.
you should get opal to make some decorative gems for the studio! and ziggy to make a pouf or a hanging plant or something like that (i don’t have the pack so im not exactly sure what he could make). it would be super cute if all of them were contributing!!
Alice’s story has been super fun and her house turned out lovely! Tiny Town has been so great! ❤ and YAAAS about Lisa Barlow; I constantly call people Baby Gorgeous 😂
When you said about it being cold at 14degrees, our summer has just started and we consider 14 degrees warm in the UK 😂 everyone's breaking out the shorts at anything over 11 degrees 😂
Yay! Another part of Tiny town! 🎉 I feel like you should have a door from the studio to the emergency exit stairs, that would be logical from the emergency exit standpoint, and also will be easier for Alice to get to her laptop from the studio 😊 love this series ❤
Deli, your videos are always so cozy but I really feel like this Tiny Town series is THE coziest. I love curling up with a blanket and a warm drink and watching this series!
I don't know if anyone mentioned but the bonsai tree I believe gives you gardening skill if the weed glitch happens and you can't gain skill through weeding.
Flower arranging is a bit slow to start, but very lucrative once you get your flower garden established, and skill up flower arranging enough to use tulips, roses and beyond. I started tiny town with a florist, and to help me get going I had my sim take photos of their arrangements to sell immediately before taking the flowers to the selling table. I justified the selling of photos because a) I was only taking pics of the finished arrangements, b) I don't have a photographer in my line up for tiny town (made my own sims inspired by your game) and c) they were my first sim with no community building to rely on yet. I also very quickly began growing more flowers than I needed, so I sold the extras of those for quick cash boosts. I also befriended rabbits and birds to get the animal homes and enlist their help, so I never have to weed/spray my garden too - big time saver. And as a little extra challenge, I only allowed myself to make arrangements with flowers I had grown myself. Love this series, it's inspired me to get back into gameplay (I usually just build/cas).
In my game Annie have her own gallery on another lot. On ground floor she is selling some paintings and on first floor we have all items by Tiny Town guys and also some pictures of them. There is also a memorial wall, because two of her models passed away young :( Frank, i thinik, is my favorite- and making money was surprisingly easy with him!
Here are my ideas for season 2!! Loving this series sooooo much 🩷❤️🧡💛💚💙💜 Writing - dark brown/storybook Baking - white/queen anne Fishing - teal/island decor Guitar or violin - light brown/french country Mixology - dark blue/mission Programming - black/modern Robotics - grey/basics Video gaming - rainbow/voidcritter/cosmolux
still not over Queen B beatrice, she looked so beautiful, our pink cottagecore baking goddess XD honestly her and opal are tied as my fave tiny town neighbours, also had a random idea for tiny town, for the 8th and final sim slot, you the player create a villager of your own to add to tiny town, could be any age group, young adult, elder, adult, or runaway teen idk, but they gotta be the final one so they come in and learn all about how tiny town was started, funded and then they gotta figure out where they fit in, in tiny town when everyone clearly has a role to play
I think everyone should have a 'hobby' piece of artwork in there! Ziggy's crosstitch or knitting piece, flower arrangement, a crystal carving, a white cake (lol), etc!
Hey Deli, I absolutely love this series you have started. I live in South Africa and just a fun fact is that we have an actual Tiny Town here, it is a private cannabis club/restaurant.
I was so happy to see Alice's OG hair back; it totally suits! also, that gallery is gorgeous! I can't wait to see it full of paintings and portraits! 😄
I am catching up on some videos during a major snowstorm in the northern rockies so far we have 18 inches of snow. I am chuckling about the fridge, guess Alice can always use the one in the community area or just use her neighbors. So sad we are coming down to the last two sims. I am really enjoying the game play.
The wardrobe I had no idea is frosted glass! That makes me feel better because I always thought it was blue and it annoyed me it was the only option. Their frosted glass is too blue for me but I get it now.
I have nt played sims4 for months, but when I started watching these videos I immediately wanted to play it again. I m starting with your challenge then I m going to try and do the same thing in Newcrest. Each lot will have a different sim with a different skill or career to build their house. I might use your community museum idea too. 😊
Maybe add a few pedestals to the gallery for a sculpture from Cyprus, a flower arrangement from Frank, and maybe Opal could contribute a gnome or some other cut gem?
I work in insurance every time I see someone place a grill next the building I die a little inside, grills should be at least 10 ft away from any structure. It is the sims but a fire from the grill will spread to the house so a similar rule should apply. 10 ft in the sims is 5 tiles and is too much, but at least 2 or 3 would keep the fire spread away from the building.
I'm a little late to this but Carnival Beats isn't kids music... it's like Mardi Gras music (think Brazil/Rio etc) :) Other than that, I am absolutely in love with Tiny Town and enjoying both yours and James's playthroughs!
Thank you for creating this challenge, it’s so much fun ! I started last week with Cypress and I just finished his house. Can’t wait to see what you’ll do with him 😁
I already finished the green part of tiny town and how I did it was start working with the flower packs you can get from the shop but then once he got some money i'd go to the finchwick fair to get more rare flowers like birds of paradise and such. Put them in a locked place because otherwise roommates or other renters will harvest them. Once you become quite a high level you should be able to make the most expensive arrangements for no cost since you already got the flowers. Then sell them on the selling table! Three of them fit on the table at a time.
14°C is normal swedish summer 😂 We've had up to 25° recently, and I honestly can't handle any more than that 🥵 I always love hearing about different cultures! Well... in this case, climate
I am not a great builder but I made Frank Stem a little greenhouse to live in! Not a lot of privacy but all the Tiny Towners love the house because they are always in it. I'd love to see how you would build it.
I went on RUclips with fingers crossed praying for a new tiny town ep and ugh this is perfect rn with my cucumber salad and scented candle!!!!!!! single-handedly made me enjoy let's plays again (: luv ya deli sending luv to Bowser still!!
Actually in Germany it’s very common to have these „garage doors“ outside a window of every window to make the room dark🙃 we have a little in wall rope you can pull and let it down. We also don’t really use blinds and curtains are more decorative than functional☺️ I also think it’s interesting that you guys get -4 ° C in Australia cause I always thought it’s hot all year round idk😂
@ 8:13 The reason you could not color that part of the ceiling is because it wasnt a ceiling... it was just the roof. I am sure you know how to look at and fix the flooring and ceiling for rooms =) SOOO excited for Frank Stem, green and gardening are my favorites!!!
I would love to put a ladder from Alice's terrace to the balcony above the entrance, which isn't accessible from inside the house. It would feel quite industrial too and be like a little secret feature she found in this old factory. She'd use it when she just wants to escape and relax, and she can look over tiny town from her little space.
My first 2 people in tiny town were Azure and Cypress. They fell in love, and now I have another save just with them and one kid, who will be my SuperSim 😄
It actually reached "feels like -3.4 deg C" (yes, minus) in Brisbane, of all places, 2 days ago. We're stuffing the climate, big time, when it's warmer in a Melbourne winter!
deli, I'm loving this series so much, I have yet to try it out for myself! Also I know you dont really use mods but I would love to see you build with the TOOL mod at some point. You're so creative and amazing at building, It would be interesting to see what you'd do with it. Also the Better Build Buy mod is so so useful
Aww yay, we're both about to start our Garden tiny towners! I just spun my wheel for my Occult Tiny Town yesterday afternoon and I got Bloom from Winx Club, so I finally get to play with the Fairies vs Witches mod. ^_^ (Mod is by SpinningPlumbobs if people are curious) Oh also, handy tip for PC Players, if you don't want a giant Vault to store community funds in. Ravasheen has a mod called "In Your Safe" that gives you the option of a Jar, Piggy Bank or Money Bag that function as a vault. Though it does require that you withdraw it all, buy a new one and deposit the money with each new Sim (so keep a note after you finish the previous sim) As far as I can tell there's no way to simply transfer ownership but it saves on space. I've been using the jar. ^_^
"i feel like i'm missing something big.." -- me waiting for you to give Annie/Alice a refrigerator 💀
Prank caller: Is your refrigerator running?
Deli: Yes, yes it is. I better go catch it.
You read my mind !!! Ahahahaha
I sat there like "DELI THE FRIDGE PLS"
and she was so proud of remembering the bin ... oh deli lol

My absolute favorite Deli bit is the "not many people know I have a degree in graphic design". Always makes me giggle.
