Um He only won because the actual fast car redlighted so Get over yourself it wasn't anything special at all he needs to get a better car and actually learn how to make it fast because that falcon is slow and way to heavy
I agree wholeheartedly. Drag racing isn't just about who got the most powerful car, if it were it wouldn't need drivers, we would just put the cars on the dyno and not bother with the race. Just like any other form of racing it's about who's the best driver on the day and this dude was.
I don't think any real car guys get "tired" of them, it's nice to see other builds winning though. I like engines from a lot of different manufacturers.
@@simplyfred8044 oh, gotcha. I don't get the hate that some people have for the LS Series, they're over done but at the end of the day they're just a simple platform with a lot of potential. Before the LS it was the same with the small block Chevy.
Riley is a great friend of mine. Im the one that jumped out of my flip flops when he won. Trust me when I say he deserved this win no doubt. Thanks everyone for all the kind words and supporting ol pappy falcon.
well lets not forget, that they play by the same rules... The fact that he is SO much faster is just amazing.. saw him last week on urban hillbilly video doing a 4.44... insanely fast..
Great vid!! I grew up around a ‘64 Falcon Futura with a 289 in it and we used to race it on Friday nights....this brought back tons of good memories! Congrats on the win and it goes to show anything can happen when you line up....
Every time that I see that back half Firebird race small tire or stock suspension cars I hope he loses. Go play with the other 4 link trailer queens and let the real stock suspension street cars go at each other.
Nothin against Ryan Mitchel, he IS one of the fastest dudes on small tires AND big tires without a doubt but it is cool seeing someone win that doesn’t do this all the time you know? Congratulations brother 🤙🏼
That was totally awesome, there is nothing I love to see more than an underdog win. Imagine how fast he'd be if he went fiberglass fenders, quarter panels, good and trunk.
You hear drivers say they'll take being lucky over being good every time, I agree! My biggest win was back in the 70's, I was bracket racing in the 1/8 mile. I had a '68 cougar, completely stock. 302 2 barrel, 3 speed automatic. It ran in the HIGH 11's! I made it to the finals, against a 6 second camaro! Every time he left the line that front end was at least 3 feet or more in the air! He had to spot me over 5 seconds. I was going down the track & kept glancing back out the rearview mirror. Sure enough I seen him leave the line wheels high up! I couldn't believe it when I won, & boy was his guys pissed the lost! Love the old Falcon, keep dialing it in & keep up the winning! Fast Fords Forever!❤🏁
I quit watching 1320 for the longest time because it seemed like every Ford was LS powered...thank you for re-establishing my faith...I may watch some more.
I don't know if he's using a Ford or power glide trans. Many use the 2 speed p.g. for being so light. Would like to know, but at least he's running a Ford engine!❤👍🏁
Back in early 70’s there was a falcon slant six called the Pepper Mill that raced in southern Ontario, Cayuga and other tracks, had quite the reputation.
Exactly... that Firebird hauls a** and I can’t see him intimidated by that all steel all glass full frame Falcon to where he had to cut an .0000 light. Falcon is a really, really cool little car.
No such thing as luck when it comes to grass routes racing, every man has done the same work as the next to get there, there's either winning or losing, I love a underdog story!
Nice race day. A welder instructor I believe is what he said he was? Very nice car. I wish you would have gone over what the inside of the car looks like. Plus the motor? Just goes to show you what these new LS motors can put out. Who built the motor? Can we have some particulars on the motor, trans, & rear end??
ah I remember my neiighbor's dad bought a new 62 falcon, and we all went to Indanola fishing with it pulling a boat behind us. We stopped to get something and his dad came out of the store and told us that Marylin Monroe had died. that was 62 or 63. I rmemeber how proud his dad was of the ford falcon.
He fits the class most people jus get mad cause Ryan puts in countless hours testing and perfecting his setup. I beat him the only way I could and that’s by catching him on the light or him breaking.
Love that old Falcon, and the fact that you kept it Ford makes me love it even more 🤩
amen kept Ford Love it!!!
You can't say he's undeserving. He ran a clean, fast pass each time. Good on him
I wouldn’t say luck had anything to do with it either. Know your ride, know the track, the rest will come with it.
Um He only won because the actual fast car redlighted so Get over yourself it wasn't anything special at all he needs to get a better car and actually learn how to make it fast because that falcon is slow and way to heavy
He is undeserving and has alot to learn
Wolf Firewalker So when does your race shop open? I’m sure people will be lining up for your valuable time and experience.

If the red fox wouldnt have spun, if the black firebird didn't go red, it's all racing. No luck about it.
What a cool car and great story. Well done.
The story of the little Falcon that could LOL. Never say never in drag racing anything can happen ?
I love the shot of that nice new laptop on top of the rusty roof. New meets OLD.
Gotta love the underdog👍🏽 That’s a bad ass little falcon though🏁
Nice to see a different motor rather than a typical LS!👍🏽👍🏽
Wish we could have seen it
LS is never typical.

@@Drive4YourLifeAZ Just like your typical sbc. Typical, typical, typical.
He had the firebird so worried from the earlier races that he jumped the light. Put the fear in him.
Whoever disliked this video, lost to the falcon.
lol
Lmao fr
Damn straight!
🤣
As of right now, he's beat 50!
No monkeys were harmed in the making of this film.
🤣
Last time I was this early cleetus still worked for 1320
So why did he leave? Just to make his own channel or did something went down?
There seems to be a cool kind guy at the heart of that falcon..Thanks 1320coolVideos!
Even lady luck is tired of the LS swaps....LOL
I don't think any real car guys get "tired" of them, it's nice to see other builds winning though. I like engines from a lot of different manufacturers.
I was thinking of doing an Ls swap. Then I quit that kine.

I love to see wins to a humble man. Great job, you got the Win. Loved the video, please make more. Your hard work paid out.
What a cool guy man. Love his build also!
That firebird is like a professional football player playing in a high school game and thinking he is cool for being better than everybody
It’s like the fake story that ran a while back where Kanye West beat a wheelchair basketball team 106-0
he shouldn’t even be aloud to run the same class

And the Ryan has a fast car too, so what's the point of guessing at the light all the damn time?! What an idiot.
Jon Do I watched him lose 20k bc he red lit at Prescott🤦🏼♂️
NOT LUCK AT ALL, called a driver mod. Damn good driver! That reaction time is on point!

Totally agree, you really only see that car racing guys like the Falcon.
He's definitely punching down and enjoying it.

So, after every run the camera pulled away before time showed up. What times does the falcon run?
I knew a guy that had one of those with a hopped up 260, 3 on the tree, and jacked up with a 2x4 on each side of the rear. I like it. 🇺🇸👍
Loved seeing the Falcon and Nova race, would've been nice to see a 64 Valiant or Dart in that mix.

Great work on an all steel body car, runs good, consistent, hats off to the ford falcon. ✊
Good for him man! Cool little falcon and cool story behind it! Really cool dude.
This is the drag racing equivalent of taking a knife to a gun fight and winning.
That black Firebird was a fricking beast!!!
Underdog story, got to luv it 😁👍

Good job
What a lucky dog! Nitrous Fox Body spun its tires and that legendary Firebird jumped!

I had a Falcon wagon with a straight 6. It wasn't very fast. At about 100 mph the valves would start floating and I'd have to let off.
