This was sooo helpful for my wedding that’s upcoming up! I just got my cricut for Christmas and you’ve taught me 90% of what I’ve learned, so thank you. In addition, you are so dang cute. I love your high energy and how cheerful you always are. You brighten my day every video 😊
Tanner You do a really great job with your video teachings!! I love how clear and the normal speedyou use with your words, some people do videos and they don't speak up or they speak way to fast. I'm really glad that I came across your videos last fall. you and your tweam do an AWESOME JOB!! looking forward to the summit!
I just want to say thank you so much for saying the material setting! I have watched 3 other videos on labeling envelopes and they always skipped that step!!
I love your videos! ... I am a beginner using the new cricut machines, and you have helped me a lot and with your videos it has become easier for me.. ☺️
Very clear, concise instruction: I am anxious to try it however; I will place the mailing address lower on the envelope. I believe the postal equipment scans the bottom 1/3 of the envelope for the mailing address.
Thank you so much! I have wanted to learn to do this forever! Loving your videos. I live in Ohio now, but am from Kingsport, Tennessee! I can hear you have my accent.
Loving ur helpful videos! I’m a newbie to Cricut, daughter got engaged finally could justify the purchase 😉 With the addressing envelopes do U have any videos on doing multiples? We only need ab 60 but idk how to do more than one at a time- u mention snap mat feature but don’t see the link. I’m pretty bad at all this but am trying!
Hi Tanner! I was wondering if you had made/ could make a video for writing text without having the hollow words? Just got a cricut maker for Mother’s Day and it came with a 0.4 marker. I’ve tried multiple fonts that came with the cricut access free trial but can’t seem to shake the hollowness. Any tips or tricks? Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
Unfortunately, you cannot fill in fonts with your machine. It will only color the outline. You'll have to fill them in by hand if you choose to do so. We wish there was a hack!
Thank you so much for this video! I have been wondering how to do this specifically. I just found you on youtube and I see that you are using an iPad. I have never used an iPad for my cricut. I am going to search through your videos to see how you started that. But if you have a link handy....lol So many questions and I cannot even think of them... Donna
Can someone tell me why when I hit make it on my Apple pc. It wants to move my text to the left. I have it where I want it in the design space screen. I don’t want to have to try and center it again to my envelope in the make it mat screen. Am I missing something?
Hello! I can change to draw in the upper left but on the right side where you change to “writing” I don’t have that option. I am using Cricut Sans font. All my numbers and letters are hollowed out. Any ideas?
@@MakersGonnaLearn not on my Cricut lol! If I only click draw all letters and numbers will be double lines and hallow in the middle. If I also click writing it will make it single stroke letters and numbers. I have found it since I asked you about it. Thanks for your reply.
I sorry. Change from cut to what? I'm using a laptop, and the choices seem to be so different than any videos that I'm watching. I just want to write something with the pens
This tutorial is awesome, but I just can't seem to get the text centred properly on my envelope, it's always slightly offset, even though I centre it both horizontally and vertically and it looks perfect on the canvas. Anyone know what I am doing wrong, I'm pulling my hair out!
This can be tricky! The issue is where you place your envelope. The Cricut actually won't cut all the way over on the edge of the mat, which could be the reason for it being slightly offset. Try scooting the envelope down and to the right a smidge!
What paper size did you set? I tried 12x12 and placed my envelope exactly as you did. When the housing was 'registering' the print area, it caught on the wheel and bent paper so for the second try, I changed paper size to 4x6 and when the 'housing' was 'registering' the area, it completely jammed the envelope into the Cricut. No exactly sure why this is happening. I'm using Neenah Brand A2 sized envelopes.
TannerI have been creating using my ipad n when not done I save to my cloud in case need to continue on my PC, but I noticed when I do go to my PC, I cannot size my design. Does not give me the lock 🔒 option, what am I doing wrong?
For some reason i dont have a “write” option? I only have a “draw” option! Am i doing something wrong? When i do the “draw” option it outlines the letters not write them!
anyone know why my writing keeps going back to the corner of the page once i want t create ? im getting extremely annoyed now as i keep trying and it does the same thing even though i follow everything in the video
Hi I just got my cricut today but seems like I figured it out which I was having the same issue as you. Try this: click layers (it should turn green) then go to edit (should also turn green, meaning those are the 2 selected) scroll all the way through those options should show the font you are using, style, alignment so on. You will find where it says “cut” click the top arrow and the write option should pop up! Then proceed with what he says in the video. Hopefully this helps you!
I don’t have any color options with my layer tab. Or the write option. My layers just show “text” and “cut”. I have followed tutorials for desktop and iPad. I have never been so frustrated.
That is the look of the font, I think. But you can use a font you like, that is not an outline. Be sure to choose one that a pen will write nicely, not with thick letters.

So so happy to see a beautifully clear and concise tutorial for Cricut on an iPad
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼yay Thankyou
Thank you so much!! I wasted so much time trying to figure this out using other sites. You are spot on and so helpful.
Awe, thanks for your kind words! We're happy to help!

Best video for addressing an envelope. You did not leave out a step. Thank you for that. As a newbie, I need every step.
Very clear, concise instruction: I am anxious to try it however; I will place the mailing address lower on the envelope. I believe the postal equipment scans the bottom 1/3 of the envelope for the mailing address.

Looove this! Thank you so much

Thanks for the great video. Willing be using this technique for my granddaughter’s bday invitations.
Hi Tanner! Thank u so much for this awesome video! I always wanted to know how to do this. Lol didn’t realize it was so easy. Love & Hugs, Donna
Excellent video!
Thank you so much!! We're so glad this could be helpful!
Great job! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
Is there a good way to do multiple envelopes at a time? I am curious how you would make it "print" them in the correct place on the mat.
Select all of them and attach them all with the correct spacing. Then when it comes to drawing they draw in the correct spot
I use to do this now I have a craft printer to do it for me!
Nice video as usual
I’ve wondered about this. Thank-You!
Ty for your teachings. I wanted this video lesson!!
Thank you
Thanx a million! This was such an awesome video 🤗

Is there a way to fill in the gaps in the words?
👍🏽 thanks for using a Maker and not the others, even though mispronouncing envelope was driving me crazy 🙂
How do you do multiple envelopes. A new one each time?
I got my cricut last week…the iOS app leaves me wanting and losing my mind, does your course offer iOS and Mac ..please advise..sos.😩
I have a Cricut Explore One. I don't see the option to select which marker I'm using. Is that a DS feature? If so, where exactly do I go to change it?
Once you make your design "draw", to the right of that dropdown menu you will see a square. Click it and from there you can choose your marker :)
Is there a way to write and cut a precut card?
you can write on a pre-made card by positioning it on the mat just like we do in this tutorial so it will write on the part of the card you want :)
Can someone tell me why when I hit make it on my Apple pc. It wants to move my text to the left. I have it where I want it in the design space screen. I don’t want to have to try and center it again to my envelope in the make it mat screen. Am I missing something?

Draw and write is the same thing :) Also, only Cricut has the ability to fill fonts in, any and all 3rd party fonts cannot be filled in.

Same thing :) Write or draw! None of the settings fill the words in, Cricut just isn't capable of doing that
When you select your font, do a search to filter for writing.
Is there a way to write in the center of the envelope without the return address? I’ve tried to attach but it doesn’t stay in place

I got all the way until you loaded the pen... it doesn’t click! And i also don’t know how to change from B to A please help!
As long as it feels secure in the clamp you can use it. Some older machines don't have that distinct "click" anymore.
@@MakersGonnaLearn I got it figured out and made thank you cards! thank you sooo much

No, I haven’t.
Where’s the snap mat link?

Great video. Your mailing address is too high on the envelope though. Other than that I love the video.
well feel free to make yours lower. not a big deal
But how do you get it to not outline?!
That is the look of the font, I think. But you can use a font you like, that is not an outline. Be sure to choose one that a pen will write nicely, not with thick letters.
How do you make multiple envelopes, like a mailing list?
You'll have to enter them into design space as we did. But if you save your project after you enter them all in then you wont have to do it again!
