I've been biking for years, but now I have a little heart problem that holds me back so that I can't keep up with my family and friends. Just bought this bike and it's perfect! I still get exercise, and now I can go faster and farther - just what I wanted!
Seriously, this would be a great thing for some of my coworkers that want to bike like me but don't have the same physical abilities or don't want to spend too much time in nasty weather.
I have one of these bikes and "realistic conditions" is about 70 km average. I've gotten as low as 33 km (highest setting) and as high as 105km (eco setting).
@@gianmariavolonte4315 You've actually gotten only 33 km on a single charge? How about speed? In ideal (flat) conditions, little to no wind at your face, how fast can you get it up to?
@@trekbikes You bet! We are a 2016 Domane 4.5 disc, 2019 Fuel EX 9.8, and Alpha 7.5 hybrid family, and have owned many Treks (my friend is a dealer here in Seoul). I'm eyeing either the Verve or the Allant+ 8. He says they should arrive early in the new year, but I also heard from a friend that there are some regulation hurdles here regarding motors, but I don't have any info on that. Perhaps you could clarify. Keep making awesome bikes!
Too bad there is a 300lb weight limit. This bike would be ideal for larger, out of shape riders to work their way progressively back into shape but the weight limit prohibits that for many as the 45lb weight of the bike means a rider of over 250lbs is shut out.
Forget the bikes for once you are being sucked in with that typical football audio chant like most other ads do,yes i like audio engineering and argos and many others do it,even the shape of deodorant cans needs no explanation, sneaky beyond belief

They are expensive.
I just bought this model and it is fantastic!!!

How do I install a Thule rear trunk mount bike rack?
Can it be customized by replacing the Bosch battery with a more powerful Bosch battery?
Yes, I just saw that on another you-tube review.
What if I like being in spandex? I’ll stay with my domane sl6
I fear the spandex bodies. Nope!
160 km range, even in "ideal conditions"? I'm sceptical....show me the data.

Guys just strap a portable drill to your trek bike it's so good
That was lake Geneva Wisconsin I saw Popeyes
Um, sorry, but 20 mph does NOT equal 25 kph. It equals 32. This is a significant detail. Please clear it up.
Thanks for sharing your feedback!

Nice

300 lbs beyond what the bike weighs
