A scene for Matt after he jumped to safety and not saving Emily, this will explain how Matt took like 4+ hours?? Just finding a way out 😅. 6. No plot armors for ANY character. Atleast give Mike a death chance when fighting the wendigos at the sanitarium since if you play for the 2nd time, It ruins the thrill of actually wanting to save Mike knowing he won't even die. I get that. One of the visual storytelling the devs detailed about was the play with darkness and light. And they chose this overall moody blue and grey, versus the bright light as a signal that the dark area is dangerous and cold. But personally that's the only good thing about what the original had. I hated their wacky "dead" facial expressions. Especially since the actors are both good looking and highly expressive when they're doing these scenes.
Is this a remaster or is this just how it looks while playing it on ps5? I have alot of ps4 games to start playing and I was debating if I should finish them on ps5 or save 500$
I really want them to keep the original camera angles that they had in the game, it made it feel more like a movie because the game wasnt always cutting from a third person over the shoulder shot, the cuts were more natural and it added tension because the camera angle changing didnt automatically mean something scary was about to happen. Plus theyre just really unique.

Original looks much better, is artistically superior, they kind of ruined the vibe of the game and made it too dark and bland, and somehow they made the animations look weird and sometimes their faces look weird.
For me it seems like general shots look better when remastered, while more focused shots look better in the original because of the lighting. The less light there is, the more you feel it's night out there, not day.
If you ever wondered how it would be like if the Ps1 released in 2024 this would be it i thought we left the Dpad and lock cameras in 1998 but looks like i was wrong
Though the graphics in the remastered one do look better, I feel like this is such an unnecessary game remaster. Until Dawn is already a really beautiful game that still holds up pretty well nowadays and I don't really think paying like 50/60 bucks (just guessing the prize) for the remaster will be worth it
There probably are better compilations of the trailers that don’t abruptly cut them off at weird moments and include the awesome music and chapter covers, like End Transmission’s cover is pretty sick, while Project W’s music is goated
It's actually not Supermassive Games who are developing this remake they may have some hand in it, but the company Ballistic Moon are developing it, and yeah it still holds up pretty well today it doesn't really need a remake I understand the PC port though. I'm still open to see what we get.
Maybe we get scenes with hannah... Btw let me say I absolutely adore this game. My first playthrough was back in 2017 on the ps4 pro and it was the best experience in my entire life.. Im definitely buying this game on steam
this has long been in my top 3 games of all time. it was far from perfect, but it was SO beautiful for the time it was released and the story still holds up so well. i’m glad they’re remastering this because it gives me another excuse to stay obsessed with this game almost 10 years after its initial release. i’m practically foaming at the mouth for any new content, and i already know the graphics will be insane. i know i’m probably a huge goober for this, but detroit: become human was such a visually stunning game that it genuinely made me cry and i have a feeling that this remastered version of until dawn is going to make me do the same. can’t wait for this to drop and for the subsequent movie they’re working on
It’s odd seeing so much praise for this game to me, but I’m open to it. Maybe I need to replay. I love games like this, but I found all of the characters so egregiously unlikeable that I couldn’t care about them. Except for Hayden’s character. Compared to a game like Detroit: Become Human which had way more narrative flaws but I actually cared about the characters. Maybe that’s a more important thing for me? I felt the same about the first Life is Strange with Max & Chloe and can acknowledge that the game is good but I don’t care for it because Max was insufferable. I don’t know, did anyone else struggle for this reason?
Loved this game i cant wait to play it again. I didnt expect it to look so much better than the original. I still dont think any of the Dark Pictures games or The Quarry have topped this masterpiece. And plus this was actually pretty scary at least to me the others weren't really at all.

For me it seems like general shots look better when remastered, while more focused shots look better in the original because of the lighting. The less light there is, the more you feel it's night out there, not day.
Honestly the original to me looks better haha. I’m still playing the remaster on my channel though🎉 I’m hoping for new scenes and rooms to explore
It's more of a remake honestly
Surprisingly competent remaster
It's a remake
The song like is so strange but I love it
If you ever wondered how it would be like if the Ps1 released in 2024 this would be it i thought we left the Dpad and lock cameras in 1998 but looks like i was wrong
The graphics in the remastered version is wow
Original: DECIMA
Remake: Unreal 5
What a great game. And what a great song. I also loved the Quarry.
Original looks better. They butchered the character designs and ambiences.
Bad news though.... the orignal song won't be in it.
The Oh Death song. That's ridiculous.
Noooo 😢
@@Ashestari406that was my favorite song whyyyy
@@bryanthernandez9769 It better get a different type of Oh Death song.
@@Ashestari406i’m late, but damn that o’death devil in me variant hit so hard, but i hope they keep the original in it
I love Emily so much
Though the graphics in the remastered one do look better, I feel like this is such an unnecessary game remaster. Until Dawn is already a really beautiful game that still holds up pretty well nowadays and I don't really think paying like 50/60 bucks (just guessing the prize) for the remaster will be worth it
i can't wait for modders to put characters from the quarry in until dawn and do the same in the quarry
Its just darker, then
I think the pure white on the psycho’s mask is a little more intimidating but this is gonna be a sick remake
The character models do look better
The remaster was better than the original
So I prefer Remastered
my lord pray my pc can handle this
this channel is so cool so I’m gonna sub
There probably are better compilations of the trailers that don’t abruptly cut them off at weird moments and include the awesome music and chapter covers, like End Transmission’s cover is pretty sick, while Project W’s music is goated
Love the game...but the only character I didn't wanna kill off was Sam 🤣🤣🤣
Incredible the original it's better than the remastered. I still don't understand why Supermassive Games develop the until dawn remastered
It's actually not Supermassive Games who are developing this remake they may have some hand in it, but the company Ballistic Moon are developing it, and yeah it still holds up pretty well today it doesn't really need a remake I understand the PC port though. I'm still open to see what we get.
Never EVER thought this game could look better
Maybe we get scenes with hannah... Btw let me say I absolutely adore this game. My first playthrough was back in 2017 on the ps4 pro and it was the best experience in my entire life.. Im definitely buying this game on steam
this has long been in my top 3 games of all time. it was far from perfect, but it was SO beautiful for the time it was released and the story still holds up so well. i’m glad they’re remastering this because it gives me another excuse to stay obsessed with this game almost 10 years after its initial release. i’m practically foaming at the mouth for any new content, and i already know the graphics will be insane.
i know i’m probably a huge goober for this, but detroit: become human was such a visually stunning game that it genuinely made me cry and i have a feeling that this remastered version of until dawn is going to make me do the same. can’t wait for this to drop and for the subsequent movie they’re working on
curious, what are your top three games?
i like how they made sam even hotter :)
Some scenes are better in the original but the look is more chiseled in the remaster 😮 Like the house scene and the girls running scene 🤔
