The ending of Little Hope made me dislike it more than Medan. It was a cheap cop out trying to be clever and created plot holes that made it even more idiotic.

The third totem needed to be her nails being pushed out. The fourth should have been her crawling on the ceiling in the mine watching Jess and Mike. 5 should have been her making the fire tower fall, and 6 should have been Handigo waiting under the trapdoor or letting Mike go (maybe explaining WHY she let Mike go, like us getting to hear human Hannah object to killing him or something similar. Then it should have unlocked a second cinematic of Hannah's timeline. We should get to see her trying to survive in the mines, burying and digging up Beth, transforming into the Wendigo, and get her perspective from the final stand in the lodge as she blows up. That would give players a good timeline of events, make her an even more tragic character and explain things like letting Mike live and whether she recognizes Sam or not.

She might not be the main character since this can be the prologue, but she probably is since she's the main view of the trailer. I still hope that there are the OG 5 different characters that you need to keep alive

I watched Eric from Blind Waves playthrough and I really though they'd added the possibility of one of our characters becoming a Wendigo (besides Josh). My expectations were a little high I guess.

They changed some stuff here before the remake released. I don't like how they did not keep the Psychos eyes from the trailer or the trailer Hannah and Beth running sequence since the forest looked creepy AF.

I hope they do it like they did in silent hill 2 remaster and assassin's creed mirage. They gave you the option to change how the game looked. Giving it a filter, if you prefer.

That shot of the cabin in the remaster is very spooky, but overall i prefer the visibility in the original. New one is very dark, and did they add motion blur?

They are quite a difference in the original and remastered version. I played this game on my ps4 years ago. I'll play the remastered one. I have a PS5

So the 1st totem is probably right after Hannah wrote her day 30 diary page, you can see Beth's grave briefly and her vision's still human. 2nd seems shortly after as her vision changes but still has her nails, maybe around the nest. 3rd is already highly mutated as she can move perfectly and finds a way out of the mines. 4th is hunting the deer Mike and Jess find agonizing. 5th and 6th need no explanation

The first three shows Hannah progression into Wendigo. 1. She crawling to Beth’s grave to eat her. 2. She starting to lose her normal vision as you can see what the orange filter. 3. She starts crawling on all fours instead of walking.

I think getting all the hunger totems should activate an additional "events of the past" sequence where it shows hannah turning into a wendigo

Did anyone else think they were a bit lack luster? The first is good, but the rest is just that orange light and the wendigo vision. It’s all stuff we already knew. Still a cool addition but I feel like they could’ve done more.

The shitty thing is that they removed "Oh death" in the remake and the wendigo screams are cheesier. That being said some of the new music is fire (im talking about the going in for the kill remix specifically)

ngl, the higher definition graphics take from the atmosphere the original had. this happens in A LOT of remakes for some reason, silent hill 2 comes to mind.

The original looked way better in my memory. I didn't think graphics could get any better back then
