We thought it would be a quiet day of RC plane action but the dirt bikes and gokarts arrived and it got noisy again. A small turnout this weekend and not much really happened but join us for some lighthearted banter and flying at the Tokoroa Adrenaline Park in New Zealand on a late winter's Sunday in August 2023.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, music is one of those times that you can't please all the people so there's no point in trying to do that -- because then you end up pleasing nobody. I try to use a range of music so that I can offend everyone to an equal degree :-)

Great content! I’ve discovered the RC fixed wing guys are hesitant to fpv.. great guys, .. like you guys said…”old guys don’t like change”..
You should tell Bill to upgrade that FS-i10 to the Paladin. The internal antennas are fantastic. No antenna to worry about. I get crazy range with mine on the 100mw module. AFHDS3 gives you all the benefits of ELRS without the headaches. The inductive charging stand is also a nice feature.
An Eflite Maule M7. I had one. Not bad for a foamy.. I still prefer to build with wood and power with glow but that Maule was ok.
I've got almost the same Weather, but with the leaves still up (changing early because of Canada burning). Beautiful flying.... Sully Tri-Lakes nyusa

Don’t know. I just had an echocardiogram the week before and was told my heart was above average condition for my age (71). Nowadays I tend to blame everything on pollution.

That Turnigy FS radio is great, I have one and use it on some models, rest are Spektrum and Jumper
Your fly field is so spacious. My local AMA field I wont even fly at. Stay between the barn and the power lines.
All that silence, You now need someone running a nitro engine, a jet or for full effect a pulse jet.

It’s good that adrenaline is still circulating in our old bodies. The lack of testosterone might keep us from “fight”, but with adrenaline, we can still do the “flight” part.

Oh sure, I just got a well used Tweagle today. But, with that its only about twenty or thirty or so. Probably only ten ready to take off with 😅
Nobody knows for sure how many planes Bill has -- but it's a very large number. He's still buying more every week so it's not a fixed number either. :-)

Yes, they are stars. You can tell that when you look behind the scenes. Bill's appearance fee goes up every week and Ron won't turn up unless there's a bowl filled with only green M&Ms. Neil is making so much from his fees that he can afford a new Tesla Modely Y "performance". Meanwhile, I survive on whatever scraps of food I can find under the sofa cushions. (hahaha).
