    Thanks for the informative How To video. I'm in CT also and would like to transport an old W900 using a gooseneck and Ford F350. Be grateful if you could answer a few questions about Patrick's truck and trailer. Is Patrick's Big Tex 25GN gooseneck trailer a 25+5 length? I don't have a CDL and have a 2007 F350 dually. Does Patrick have a CDL or is he able to move this privately non-CDL as he is not for hire? Impressive to see this set up used to move a W900. Thanks again.

    If you’re wiring those lights to reverse don’t also wire them to a switch. You’ll backfeed power into the reverse circuit on the tow vehicle and can easily cook the computer. You would have to use a diode on the aux feed circuit to eliminate the backfeed

      False. Use an SPDT switch. Can't back feed.

      An SPDT switch will do both auxiliary power from a battery AND reverse power from the tow vehicle, and keeps the feed circuits separated. You can either have it in the OFF position in the middle, flip it one way to turn them on from your trailer battery, and flip it the other way to turn on from the reverse signal. Do some more research.
