This was the impact that I felt of the picturesque series Msho Shoror, the magnificent Seven Songs, the Children Tunes that came from the very core of our national being, and finally, the ingenious Toghik…
I yearn to cast a veil on the dark period of the composer's life, because I believe that someone who has accomplished the mission sent from above in such a brilliant manner would wish to leave a legacy to his followers of a happy life…
My Komitas… the most poetic manifestation of a soaring Armenian soul… With the bubbling of water from a spring, the fragrance of flowers in a field, and the purity of dew in the early morning, he both laughs and mourns, his incomplete song resembling drops of rainfall, here and there…»
