For a healthier life sit on a chair, back straight, eyes closed and observe the sensations of your incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 5-10-15 minutes or more. Don’t fight your thoughts. Slowly the mind will relax. No deep breathing needed. Day or night, when taking a walk, sitting in the park, when reading, on the phone, before sleep etc sit or lie down and observe your breath with eyes open or closed. . Like me, make this a lifetime daily habit to have a good life. Avoid constipation as it affects the mind instantly. Best wishes Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

As someone who has anxiety disorder, I relate to this on so many levels. Feeling like my thoughts and emotions control me, and like my life purpose is gone, like I'm missing from my own life. I also struggle with turning my life into school/work. Going to therapy has helped me so much. Feeling like I can relate to someone, even through a screen gives me hope. I’ve dealt with depression a few years ago and I almost got to an endpoint with myself, it gets better and I figured that I needed to take care of myself and know that I’m my number one priority. you are loved, you matter, you are worthy of yourself/love, and I love you 💕❤️

For everyone saying “that’s not depression”: I think you could be right, he didn’t mention clinical diagnosis explicitly but honestly how could we know all the details of what he went through in several years of his life. Either way thank you for sharing your knowledge/ experiences! I don’t think he means any harm and is just trying to share his story for others who might feel the same way. BTW... I don’t think he said “I’m now cured of my depression because I did x, y, & z”, I think he simply meant that he had certain outlets that helped him cope in this time which is great. At the end of the day, we just never really know because we only know what he’s willing to share !!
God is good and has a plan for each and everyone of us. We will go through things because God want us to and even if we don’t understand the reason behind it, there is always a bigger truth to it that is all part of Gods plan. When I struggled with depression, the only thing that pulled me out was my faith and trusting that God had a plan for me even though I couldn’t see it. It’s so true that when you clear your head and get stuff out it stimulates so much creativity. God used your journey of coming back to him and back to yourself to bring you something that would have never gotten produced if you’d stuck to what you were doing before

Yes, this is great - but it may as well of been called "My new album, Belong" or something like that. As someone who has been through depression I was really excited to hear your actual story. How did you feel? Did you have days where you couldn't get out of bed? How was your therapy experience? What were your thoughts during this time? How did it affect yours and Jess' relationship? And so much more. I suppose I'll have to wait for the album to hear your story but I was also just excited to hear it straight from you talking to us. Love what you do. I just needed something raw.

I’m going through some hard time right now mentally. It’s too hard to cope up with everything. I really cannot decide between feeling my emotions or keeping up with everything else in my life. I can’t seem to find my pace. I’m trying. And I don’t intend to remain broken. And Gabe thankyou for sharing your story. It really made me want to think things over. Loveyouboth. For everyone saying “that’s not depression”: I think you could be right, he didn’t mention clinical diagnosis explicitly but honestly how could we know all the details of what he went through in several years of his life. Either way thank you for sharing your knowledge/ experiences! I don’t think he means any harm and is just trying to share his story for others who might feel the same way.
BTW... I don’t think he said “I’m now cured of my depression because I did x, y, & z”, I think he simply meant that he had certain outlets that helped him cope in this time which is great. At the end of the day, we just never really know because we only know what he’s willing to share !!
God is good and has a plan for each and everyone of us. We will go through things because God want us to and even if we don’t understand the reason behind it, there is always a bigger truth to it that is all part of Gods plan. Having faith and trust in that is the most encouraging and comforting thing. So proud of you and love love love the album you have grown so much 💛💛

I just listened to your album and wow. It’s such a work of art. Listening to “Rollercoaster” hit home for me. When I struggled with depression, the only thing that pulled me out was my faith and trusting that God had a plan for me even though I couldn’t see it. It’s so true that when you clear your head and get stuff out it stimulates so much creativity. God used your journey of coming back to him and back to yourself to bring you something that would have never gotten produced if you’d stuck to what you were doing before

The greatest tool that has worked for me in curing my depression is persistence. Do whatever you can think of to help your depression. Do that and it will pay off

As someone who has been through depression I was really excited to hear your actual story. How did you feel? Did you have days where you couldn't get out of bed? How was your therapy experience? What were your thoughts during this time? How did it affect yours and Jess' relationship? And so much more.

Yes I agree! Wrong title for the video. With this many followers, break the stigma and actually talk about mental health. If you want to be relatable, share your actual story. It’s probably the most relatable thing people will have to him.
