YES! Someone else who tinkers with drop ins! I have 3 pairs of the Kobe AD NXT FF and the reason why is because the unlocked react foam insert is comfortable as shit! I put that in a lot of other shoes like the Kobe 9 and the OG Zion 3, and it does wonders. You can even put it in regular shoes that are hollow like the Kyrie 5. Also the upcoming Jordan 39 will have what may be a perfect drop in, cannot wait to grab

Same issue with my venice beach’s. Haven’t tried any other protro’s yet but somehow it’s a problem with material of the OG tongue that makes it too hard and pinches on your foot

Idk if yall remember this but Kobe 8s back in the day when they first came out had different insole options for the shoes. They traditionally came with a full lunarlon insole but you were able to buy the different insoles on nike and they had options ranging from only heel zoom, full length zoom, forefoot zoom, or straight lunarlon. They need to bring this back if they’re going to start releasing Kobe 8s again.
