My theory: this world where the cat travels is some kind of purgatory, where souls can walk free (but trapped), but the cat wants to fight for the freedom of it’s soul, instead of being locked there forever. Then, it fights the entity who controls this world and the same entity regrets trying to kill the cat and bring it back to the real world, where our cat see it’s owner a last time in it’s life and then go back to the grave, free from monsters, traps or any other dangers. It’s a sad ending, but it doesn’t mean it’s a bad ending. In my opinion, it’s a great ending because the cat soul is finally resting in peace, but at the same time, it’s soul, maybe, is still watching it’s owner live, still linked to her life. Well, I believe this is the ending.
Now, about Nora and the Jellyhead, I don’t know if they got the same ending. I really hope so, but I’m not sure. Maybe, they did it after the cat rested in peace, but there are no clues. Now, about their story, I don't know what could be Jellyhead's backstory, and Nora might be the dead daughter of a couple (she might be dead because of an accident or illness). This is my theory about Nora. I hope both got out of that world and rested in peace just like the cat.

This comment makes a lot of sense, because, according to some other beliefs in certain countries, when a person or animal dies, but they still have one more wish that they didnt accomplish while being mortal, they either turn into ghosts at the human world forever and cant get to the grave to rest inpeace, but as for animals, they have lots of chances, so they need to walk or pass lots of steps to reach the land of earth. :3

@@user-ot4rp8yn8r from what I can gather, it's about the orb trying to erase the existence of humans from everyone's memories since most were bad. But the cat had good memories, even if it was dead.

I can't even describe how much and how many times I cried because of this game, it's absolute masterpiece!

The ending made me feel sadness and joy at the same time. The sadness of GOODBYE, the joy of DESTINATION.
Dusk theme and memory is emotional theme
I would say this was the most exciting mobile game I've played. All of its aspects, together, simply make me understand better how life works, as well as bringing back good and bad memories from my past. Simply incredible.
