The twisty is a must have lure for west coast Mexico. the 30gr is unbeatable for the Sierra Mackerel but will happily take skipjacks, Bonito and even the bigger jacks
No Swivel.. I use Roosta/Twisty/Popper from Halco and caught many salmon From the beach/Boat and never used a Swivel, you're throwing it out and winding it back in so no need.. Don't over complicate things :) ... Swivel is more for Throwing big baits from say the beach into the surf so your line doesn't get tangled and knotted while out it's out there.
Great video. I own a few Halco's. Decent lures. You do know ofcourse that Australian Salmon isn't a true Salmon and isn't even related to the 8 species of Salmon. 5 in the Pacific, 2 in Asia and 1 in the Atlantic.

Love the outcasts, cracking on Tailor as well I have realised recently.
Thank you for the reviews. I came here before purchasing an outcast. Looks like I'll go for a twisty as well. High fives from India.
Great video mate. Thanks for the tips 👍

What size twisty and outcast would you recommend using off a beach that can sometimes be rough and choppy

Why gold?
Do you recommend swivels or no swivels with Twistys and others?
