@@aisrael13 I bought it some years ago in Holland when it had about 70.000 (real) kilometers on the clock, and I believe I paid around 6000 euros for it. Nowadays it might be worth a bit more, since prices for Japanese classics have finally gone up a tiny bit. Personally I think they are still undervalued though...
What a fantastic and elegant car... the design still looks great and timeless. Incredible to see how the rear seat space is beautifully integrated into the side paneling. Just wonderful... and I love those electric hinged windows!
One of my first cars, got me through my final years of high school. Bought it for 2500. Had 331k miles on it before it finally gave up. Thanks for the memories.

I own a Mazda 626 Sedan in Prestige Silver Metallic colour, 1990 model (2.2i Auto) ... bought brand new in Melbourne, Australia as a gift from my father for my 18th birthday. He paid $32,000 Australian dollars for it back then! It's now 32 years old, has done 500,000 kilometres (310,000 miles) and l continue to drive it daily. Has never failed me. Unbelievable car. I cannot part with it. My first and so far, only car ...!! It still looks like new and has always been outside for its entire 32 years, so far. People cant believe it! p.s. They have a website .... and are the ultimate specialists in all makes and models of Mazdas, particularly older model 70s, 80s and 90s Mazdas ... they stock over 5 million Mazda parts!!!! They are phenomenal and a treasure to have in Melbourne!
We had that same generation mazda 626 in my country both the 2 door coupe and the 4 door sedan but the coupe came with digital instrument panel while the 4 door sedan had an analog instrument panel... Then we had the ford telstar which is a twin to the mazda 626 carrying the same body parts but just a few cosmetic differences on the front and back, but the doors, suspension engine and transmission were the same design, but the 626 had a 1.6 cc engine while the telstar had a 2.0 cc engine but this particular car in the video its in mint condition looks like it just rolled out from the car factory its well kept 👍
A very nice example I have the same year, same color, same wheels, same interior, the only difference is mine is 5 door hatch and carburated. I looked for a coupe but couldn't find any and this hatch was almost like a barn find so it was in a very good condition so I had to buy it.
@@ericcrama2221 yes it's enjoying a second Life, I'm using it as daily. It's really weird it's so old yet no unusual noise or crackles. Engine and transmission were rebuilt from ground up last year. If I'll make any video I'll post it here. Have a great day.
Unbelievable,I had one in 90's a black GC limited edition coupe with sunroof and spoiler.Mine was a manual non turbo carby version. It was the best car, would love to find another here in OZ so if anyone has similar to sell please message me! Awesome example that one you had,a LHD but wow brought back so many memories! 🍻 Cheers
Greetings from the Midwestern USA. Just bought almost this exact car for $850, but mine is the turbo engine. Just got it to run and it runs pretty good. Lots more work to do, mine was neglected and sat for I'd say the last 10 years or so. Your car is beautiful, I wish I could buy some parts from you lol
Haha, sorry, I´m planning to keep this car in one single part for now. I do have a spare blower motor though (long story), if you ever need it you know where to find me. Congrats on the car Jack, enjoy it!
@@ericcrama2221 Haha thanks man, sounds good. I'm trying to figure out how to get mine to idle and run better now. And then I need to replace the shifter bushings because they are completely shot. And then I need to fix the big water leak from the front door trim. And then replace the rear axle/spindles because someone hit a curb and bent them. Oh well, it's a cool car and I like fixing stuff. By the way, do you think a vacuum leak or bad vacuum lines could cause a poor idle?

I wouldn't agree I think they were exciting to drive. The joke is that the 929 was much more expensive but far slower than the 626. Your model is lovely. It looks like it's red lined at 7,000 rpm! Would have liked some commentary.
Hi, thanks for your comments. I do consider sometimes to give some commentary, but I´m afraid I´m just not much of a talker. And to be totally honest, I make these videos more to show off my cars than to create high-quality content ;-)
