As someone with more medical problems than I can count anymore, just the song title says so much. Only some of them are diabetes, seizures, one color blind eye, and neuropathy. But me and others like me keep walking even though we know death is always 2 steps behind us because the ones who accomplish something are the fools who keep pressing onward. No matter the weight or pain they carry.
Fools? Personally I think people who go through all that but still don't give up in the hope they do or create something better then themselves despite the obstacle that hold them back, are heroes.
I mean it sucks that you have that condition, but even if you were healthier you would still be running the race against death that's life no matter who you ask. Fools they might be, but what would be the point of doing nothing? You might as well not exist if you just give up, life is something so rare and we're so incredibly complex creatures that giving up on oneself is letting that little spark fade into oblivion it will happen eventually, but why don't we just keep kicking the bucket for a little longer?
When Arthur put his hat on John during the final showdown it hit me really hard, small scene but it really makes you realise you've reached the end of the journey
