Greetings from Houston, Texas. I first thought about saying that I am addicted to your presentations and "how you think". I decided on saying that I am a HUGE HUGE fan of both you and Dr. Mordecai Ogada. The expositions of you both is so grounded and expansive at the same time. You also give me new ways of dissecting and processing how to think through different issues such, as how you adroitly explained in this video. I am grateful to be "in class" with both you and the "Good Doctor"...
No one is going to save us. We must save ourselves. If you like a sport, form a club for that sport with other like minded people and play and compete. We can't wait for politicians or rely on their corrupt systems.
Whenever I say these things, I'm always subjected to gaslighting that I debunked, it's soooo mentally exhausting, my Gen x dad again, I tell him that I'm in the streets with my comrades rid of these decadent intellectually hollow system that sucks the life out of us, he starts saying oooh! We want to make Kenya into Sudan🤦🏾♂️ What kind of intellectual indolence is this? A 60-year old still making adolescent-type arguments 😖 sometimes I just feel like quitting on Kenya and leaving it with its skunk and live the rest of my life in an apartment in Antalya in Turkey or Goa in India overlooking the beach, because, what is this aki????
@@MaishaKazini I can't count how many times I've heard and seen this. Like in 2021 during BBI, in an ntv interview between Ahmednassir & Adams Oloo, it was so painful to watch, two supposedly doctors of Law & Political science, yet you couldn't hear any legal theory and political philosophy from the two🤦🏾♂️just insults and pomposity, a dick measuring contest really. It seems in Kenya these papers are nothing more than identity markers, it's just another form of tribalism, it has nothing to do with knowledge, scholarship or expertise.
You talk about quitting on Kenya...I'm 70 years young and i want to quit on the USA! Howeve it looks through your eys, the U.S. is in decay in many ways. Maybe we should all meet up in China, Vietnam, Indonesia or Malaysia...🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Watching the movie King Richard (about Serena and Venus Williams) shows the importance of knowledge, resources, work, etc in developing talent and skills in sport.
I didn't grow up in Kenya but my family is from there and I am staying for a while and I noticed that there are barely any gyms and the gyms are offensively expensive. And whenever I go out I don't see that many people running or cycling as lets say London. This is a guess and please correct me if I am completely wrong, but from listening to you and Mordecai I have a feeling that this is done on purpose. I know when I go out and exercise (as an adult) it helps me think clearer, be more patient and feel better both physically and mentally. Could that be a reason?
It is deliberate. The ruling class is mediocre and won't allow Kenyans to rise above them. So they sabotage us down to mere mental clarity. They won't even let us have a soda and stare into our lover's eyes at Uhuru park. Ogada mentions this in our conversation on settler colonialism.
Great ❤ ❤ ❤
Pure facts!!! 100% accurate.
shukrani sana mwalimu kwa kutufunza vyema.

Wah, pole. That's us. Sadly. Now imagine hearing PhD holders reasoning like this in university circles. I almost want to die.
