''No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training. It is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.'' -Socrates, 469-399BC
@@NicandroVisionMotivation the truth of this saying is that if you reach your potential , when you get old , you will appreciate what was once possible and understand the aging process and your limitations much better... without achieving that ,you will never know that feeling.of what was once possible..
Bob Paris had everything right and in perfect harmonie,i saw him compete several times, even in one Olympia in 85 and he was amazing...Classic physique at its maximun potential
They seemed to be more aware of proper lighting and a dark background etc back then. Now we have big flashy monitors at every sports event that compete with the attention.
bobby p is the most aesthetic bodybuilder of all time in my opinion. the proportions were perfect. hes not all time favorite but hes easily the best looking imo.
Underrated biceps. I think being a more slender trim bodybuilder helps that - but every time I see Paris his biceps are full and quite long too. Really underrated arms
During my time Bob Paris is one of those bodybuilders I aspired to be, him along with Serge Nubret, Mohamed Makkawy, Rich Caspari, all those from that great era 😊
Bob Paris, la mejor estetica en la historia del fisicoculturismo , con las disculpas a Frank Zane y Francis Benfatto. Luego de analizarlo mucho llegue a esa conclusion. Facha total 👍🖐
Personally, I am so impressed with the way that Bob Paris did for himself in his bodybuilding past and for his dedication to human and civil rights for the LGBTQ community all over the world as well. Other than that, I often wondered about what happened to his former spouse, Rod Jackson? He has been out of the spotlight for years already.
When you compare him to the Big refrigators competitors that you see now on stage you just want cry man. Bodybuilding is about flow and beauty mix with size and définition.thank god we have Samson dauda and Andrew jacked in the open division.
For all we might acknowledge the genetic gifts accorded to this man, by far the greater contribution to his physique was hard work. Muscles like that do not spring from luck.
For Bob Paris to come out and declare himself a gay man during an era that being gay was a sure way to destroy your career for Bob to do that took courage beyond most anything else.
Not only that , but he went on prime time TV . holding hands with his boyfriend and his career was over instantly....he had to move to Canada after that and wrote books .😮
He came out gay at the height of his career at a time when that was unspeakable...he gave up money earned from bodybuilding, personal training, modeling, guest appearances, publishing,etc...he was blacklisted and shunned ...he became a gay activist and moved to Canada...I was surprised to see him holding hands with his boyfriend on prime time TV .I knew his career was over at that point and his popularity would waine.and also future earnings. .I remember him as a likeable guy , very symmetrical like Zane, and an excellent poser.😮
It’s a shame that it was such a big deal back then. I mean, dude lost all sources of income just for being gay. I’m so glad things are not like that now.
Back when bodybuilding was an actual art form where they sculptured their physiques to perfection nowadays it's all about adding as much slabs of meat as possible
In 2024, l still think that Bob Paris is still one of the most beautiful body builder of all time. He was also incredibly handsome, and it was a tragedy that he was dropped like a skunk when he "came out" as a gay man. A huge loss to body building. 😢 but l am delighted that he now (?) lives in Canada with his partner, & l still wish them every good wish for their lives together. ❤️
I had a huge crush on him he was to me a fantasy his muscle was so beautiful so masculine he was like a living muscle god when he would put oil on his muscular body I would get goosebumps to me he is and was the ultimate dominant muscle man ❤❤❤❤
Paris had two problems. One was being openly, courageously gay at a time when it was still a huge deal. The other was related - the Reagan era saw a huge backlash against the male aesthetic of whom Paris was perhaps the ultimate expression. Paris lost to far less proportionate men, men whose self-evident (though entirely staged and astonishingly hypocritical) rejection of physical beauty as a criteria for victory reflected the absurd near-paranoia of being seen as anything other than “red blooded American”. It was 80’s style hyper masculinity and homophobia made flesh. “Beauty” was bullied by “freaky”.

There are genuinely few people that are born to be bodybuilders, Bob Paris is one of them
Talk about winning the genetic and symmetry lottery. Bob Paris was gifted from head to toe what a great looking body.

Great video. 80s gym vibe with that synthwave sound! Very aesthetic physique 👌
bobby p is the most aesthetic bodybuilder of all time in my opinion. the proportions were perfect. hes not all time favorite but hes easily the best looking imo.
For looks he has competition from Reeves ..and symmetrical speaking...Zane and Wheeler...his posing was up there with the best.
Extraordinary. Thank you.
This is what less chemicals and more emphasis on diet and hard work gets you.
And great genetics. You can't train to get those perfect ab insertions.
Way harder to get that lean on just diet with no gh in the background
He would have been a powerful contender in today’s bodybuilding #respect
Thank you ♥
La meraviglia dell' eccellenza. Grande Bob⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Underrated biceps. I think being a more slender trim bodybuilder helps that - but every time I see Paris his biceps are full and quite long too. Really underrated arms

The ancient Greeks and Romans made statues of both....there were David and Hercules type sculptures of the men of fame and muscle.😮
3:30 raye hollit looking beautiful as ever.
Hands down one of the most aesthetic physique, and good looking guy as well. Gifted genetics. Btw, he is gay!
Pretty much my dream physique, I know I cant achive anywhere close that but even 50% of it would be a succes.
Make a video on Steve Reeves ♥

He was the most beautiful of the time❤
exactly, a person can be too big, his correct, bring back natural physiques
He's as close to male perfection as you are going to get in his prime
3:31 Qué está haciendo? No hay movimiento estricto. Bueno, eran otros tiempos.
What was his height and weight for competition? What a perfect physique. 👍🏽
reminds me of Frank Zane

Bob Paris was indeed a beautiful man, in every physical way, from head to toe.
Amazing physique, what bodybuilding should be about, the goal should be excellence and perfection not mass.
Today b.b. is drug abusse..No way...90s and Golden era the Best.
He was a very hot muscular bodybuilder.

Aesthetic legend. Sadly they bullied him out of the sport because he was openly gay.

He was the first top bodybuilder to come out as gay & that pretty much ended his commercial deals & his career !
