- Welcome to Steam Sequence, a series where I attempt to play and review as many Steam games in alphabetical order as possible to sort the Trash from the Treasure.
This means that I'm playing through all the terrible games so that you don't have to. Please enjoy my suffering.

In case you're wondering, Steam organizes games starting with punctuation first, then numbers, and then the actual alphabet. It may be some time before I reach the letter "A" on my journey!

Thank you everyone for a fantastic year! Here's to more great (and not so great) obscure games in 2024!
Also, please forgive me if the editing is a bit rougher than normal for this one, I did all the editing myself as Tai took some time off for Xmas.
Happy New Year!
Happy New Year! I don't know how you timed finishing the Punctuation category so perfectly, here's to a year of number 0 games (If I got that right)!
6:34 "it was the plot that pulled me through" as the screen is zoomed in on a characters ass lmao
😏
Every single punctuation game on Steam, that's an achievement. Next year, you need to get every number game on Steam
Canadian chicken is delicious! Surprised you guys can type in English.
It's a nice milestone to cross! I actually feel like I'm making some progress on this ridiculous journey
@@Graeldonat this rate, youll be done within 30 years!
@@everfluctuating well Acording to Math 16 Years to A sooo not sure about that
@@AkorSoul
At least 100% Orange Juice seems within the reasonable realm of possibility to be played in 2024, and I'll know it's not too far away when Graeldon gets to 10-Second Ninja X (a game I picked up for free during a promotion, but haven't played yet).
I feel like you're on track to becoming a pretty popular content creator with this whole journey you're going on. I've been here since 'Member the Alamo and it's been awesome to watch someone taking on such an immense task. Looking forward to all the flops and diamonds still yet to come.
Thanks for the kind words! There's always a part of me that hopes that the channel will take off, but I'm also just happy making content that people enjoy!
What a great way to end the year. Thanks for the video and support!
This really highlighta the issues with the steam store. They need some sort of a vetting process and a better refund policy.
I still don't fully understand why they removed the old Greenlight system. It was a great way to discover and help support indie games and interesting titles. Sure, it wasn't perfect, but it has to be better than letting literally anything onto the platform
@@Graeldon
Yeah, I miss the old Greenlight system as well. There were a few neat games that I initially spotted there, including Rabi-Ribi, which was one of the last games that appeared on Steam Greenlight before it was stopped.
@@Graeldon
I think it was the amount of abuse that shut it down. Tons of people illicitly offering keys in exchange for votes made a mockery of the system and Valve just gave up.
Hey Graeldon, great video!
Just wanted to say, and you probably noticed this, as you can see it when you scroll past it in the list of steam games, but it looks like "going up?" is free now. I don't know if you want to update the spreadsheet with that info, since you did so with (square). I also doubt that it being free would change your rating of it lol. :)
Anyways, have a happy 2024! Since I've now commented twice, I can probably revoke my status as a lurker :o, and I'll be sure to comment again when we get to 10,000,000!
6:34 That's a nice plot
The .Hack games have pretty thicc plot
First Year of Graeldon going Insane Complete, hyped for next year :)
The % of Not Recommended games = The % of Graeldon's insanity
I thought I was caught up, but I didn't recognize two of your top games of the year?! Yay, that means I have a couple more reviews to watch. I love learning about new media I've never heard of before, good and bad, so this channel has been a blast to follow. Thanks for everything so far, and good luck with the numbers!!!
//todo slaps so hard, love that game
It definitely slaps. Like a reality check to the face.
@@Graeldon Agreed. I found it when I was in a really dark place, it gave me that last little push I needed to rise above my circumstances.
What a great way to look back on a year of great content, lovely seeing some old classics again like Zinuru the Great and I had unfortunately forgotten all about Medieval Real Estate and it's kin. I want to think that the Devs ended up so embarrassed by your coverage of their games that they went into hiding and that's why all their stuff disappeared, and maybe they think if their games are down the list you'll have to play them again later when maybe you'll be so done with garbage that you'll look upon them more favourably!
Thanks for a great year of content Graeldon! Here's to another one!
P.S: At some point next year you should be coming up on 100% Orange Juice, which is a fantastic party game that I've got over 150 hours in. When you get there feel free to drop me a message, I can tell you a ton of stuff about that game which I hope will add to your experience immensely :D
I'll need some actual people to play with for that game, so keep an eye out on discord!
So when looking at game titles do games with things like "The" at the beginning go into the Ts or with the following word? It'd be neat to see classics (not a classic, but old) like The 11th Hour get a shot, but I think normally Steam sorts by first letter.
It's been a great year, looking forward to more, hope you don't run out soon.
Unfortunately Steams sorting system counts "The" as part of the title and places it in the "T" section, so we won't be there for a long, long time
@@Graeldonthat's so weird. It sorts "the" titles by the second word in their title while they're in your library
Klaus is definitly my favorite by a huge margin. Thus far its the only game I plan on getting myself.
Such a great game, with some interesting ideas. It's a shame the game with hyphens in either side are incredibly hard to search for
@@GraeldonHere's hoping this coming year you find some more great hidden gems. Many of these other games do look good their just not really the kinds of games I'm interested in personally.
I was expecting 'Member the Alamo to be in the 5 worst, but it did have some pretty stiff competition. Thank you for having this wild idea for a channel and bringing us all along for the ride. I'm happy I found your videos and looking forward to the number (of) games you'll be playing in the upcoming year.
frankly i was expecting it to be in the top 3 at least
Happy new year, and congrats on clearing the punctuation section! I'm glad we could find a few gems so far, even if they've been rare.
Happy New Year! I ended up finding more gems than I thought I would, so I'm taking it as a win
I, for one, am **grateful** for Steam's lack of quality control! Funny reviews of games of questionable quality are my lifeforce! Thanks for the good times this year, Grael
Thanks for helping to support the channel!
Here's to more wacky games in 2024 🥳
I love your videos, really. You bring so much into my life
I'm glad that my content can bring you some joy =)
Good content as usual. Have a great 2024
Onto another adventure and Year full of Games, be they good or bad.
Your were on of my highlight channels I discovered this year, I really dig the concept of your journey through the Steam library. I admire your Patients with some of the worse games as I even sometimes struggle to complete good games due to lack of time and motivation.
Wish you a great start into 2024 and a good year to come!
Man i cant wait for you to get into numbers, since there are some games that i actually know about. Only thing in punctuation that i played eas red tether
Can’t wait to watch this!!
Jeez, 51 games already! May not keep up consistently, but watching all of these vids are super interesting. It will be really interesting to see if you can complete the A games-there has to be at least a few years worth of games alone within A
I haven't tried to measure the size of the A section yet, mostly because I'm not even close to starting it!
Excited to see this come out!
Looking forward to the numbers section, as the first game I have on it is 1bitheart
what a way to end this year tho
It felt like a good way to have a send off, and I think it'll become a yearly tradition if people enjoy it!
most anticipated video of 2023
This has been a fun ride! Really happy I found this channel
Great job dude! Happy new year!
I'm hoping that the number games get better from here!
I doubt it, but here's hoping!
All the games from 4th place upward should be able to sell themselves as officially better than .hack
😂😂
I wonder where you would've placed #AkiRobots on this list if it was a top 10 instead of just top 5? I think that was the first video of this series that I watched where you gave a game a thumbs-up, and I ended up buying the game for myself soon afterwards, since it looked really neat to me.
Happy new year, Graeldon, i just saw the video, something tells me that you will have a very dedicated community
Honestly, I'm just glad that people enjoy the content 😄
Happy new year, Grael! It's been nice watching your content for the last... 16 months or so?
Edit: I'd also like to say that the rankings here really surprised me! I was expecting that one pool game to be on the bottom 5 somewhere. The Last Cube and Horrorvale not even being in the honorable mentions was also unexpected
When you (eventually) get to "D", do NOT sleep on/skip Distance (2018) by Refract Studios
Note: you may want a controller
I'm writing this because by that time, you will probably have stricter rules on what games you play
the preview when you hover over the thumbnail for this video is funny
kind of sad you missed (the) gnorp apologue
Yeah, it released just a little too late to get covered. I hope to be able to go back and review the ones I missed someday
Honestly surprised at the lack of that one Alamo game
Honestly surprised 'Member the Alamo wasn't on here. That game was hilariously awful.
Also, if I had a nickel for every time a hidden gem was named "Klaus," I'd have to nickels. It's not a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
I somewhat purposefully left the Alamo game out, but even if I hadn't it would've ranked around 6th place.
But now I'm curious about what this other Klaus game is...
@@Graeldon It's a movie
@@Graeldonwas it to not get people to gate play it?
“Congratulations”
I'm very shocked Alamo didn't get #1 worse game of the year just by how bad it is. Though I understand since it's not a 'punctuation' game.
It is actually a punctuation game, but given the fact it has multiple "levels" and "mechanics", it manages to be above the top 5. Solid 6th place though.
Also, I didn't want to draw even more attention to it haha
@@Graeldon haha, cheers to that at least, cheers to a buncha these videos, and here's to many more to come this year!
slightly shocked that ‘Member the Alamo? didn’t get worst place lmao
Also, how many games were shown on the streams that didn’t make it to the channel? Were they the games that came out after you’d already passed their place in the list?
my god. it's over.
are void stranger and lingo punctuation games?
They were community nominated games - so not in the punctuation section, but played during 2023. Community nominations need 200 or less reviews to be featured!
Nice, i hadn't heard of Void Stranger since i don't watch the lives (i don't like the format).
All good, it's optional content that's really just for fun. I thought it would be nice to include a couple of highlights from there though
