I don't think people realize how hard their choreo is, not talking about individual but as a group. It's easier to dance solo than with a group. The amount of position change they do in every song is crazy. You won't see other groups do intricate transitions every two seconds while telling a story on top. The details in the movements relates to the concept. They are not just dancing but acting, performing at the same time. Debatable but they are the best dancers as a group in kpop.
Yeah for girl groups definitely them and Loona get an A+++ they both have insane choreos and story line tropes and position changed I think Loona had once got most position changes in a song or something like that both insanely talented groups

The meticulous attention to detail in Dreamcatcher's choreographies is admirable! The way they incorporate story elements, like the Gahyeon and JiU mirror part in the beginning, the synchronized Doll/Marionette like moves, the pendulum movement in the bridge and then SuA's puppet master move before the final chorus, its all so creative and worth appreciating!
1:26 I love how Dami, Dongie and Yoohyeon held hands and maintained the "Us" pose until they needed to go back and perform the next segment. Really portrays the feeling of them being dolls/marionettes 🤟
Don't you just love it when Dreamcatcher uses a stuffed toy for them to find the center easily? Aside from the stuffed toy, Dreamcatcher gets better and better every single comeback. Our girls are so amazing.
I didn't noticed Siyeon dances the whole song to the point she has to run to get to their place for Dami's part. Surprised me BEcause(see what I did there?) she's main vocal and usually (it's just logical) you try to spare the main vocalist give them small breaks that make all the difference when they sing.
It's cool how they based one of the dance moves with the chinese word of BE. Same with the sorta doll-type of movements it makes them focus on shapes and lines which looks great and all of them are pulling it off especially since they are usually centered and fixed. Overall I love the choreo it's unique and since I love Dreamcatcher and their music, it just adds to why I love them. Well done, hopefully they get their first win cause they deserve it with all of the hard work that they've been doing
I still can't help but be mesmerized with their synchronization, and how it looks easy for them to transition from soft, slow moves to hard hitting, fast paced moves. It's nothing short of amazing.

Sure, individual moves are comparatively easier... however, this choreo demands absolute synchronization otherwise the concept is out of the window... So, for that reason I think it is very difficult, keeping in unison throughout, even for small subtle moves, must be very hard.
yes! synchronisation is a whole other skill, and they excel at it. I learn the dances and do them by myself, so yes, individually, this is pretty easy and not as bone breaking as all their other choreos.

As much as I wanna say something funny, Gahyeon’s dancing honestly improved and it shows, her movements have gotten more sharp and fluid! She also appears to show more expression in her dance than before. I’m glad our puppy is improving

I just adore the little things, especially in this comeback. I’m a sucker for the creepier things in life and I love how innocent yet terrifying the whole song is. Re watched this part 2:40 so many times, and I have concluded that Sua, Dami and Siyeon do the hip/shoulder part the best. It's my fav moment and they nailed it, not to say others didn't do it well, but just look at the difference in the "energy" if you will, between all of them and you will see what I mean. Queens of synchronization. this is such a dynamic dance that relies on their precision to move in sync and it really shows off all their practice and talents
that's one of the most intense ensemble choreos i've ever seen. this was the level of cohesion that made 9Muses and Gfriend stand out among girl groups. individually, each individual's skill level has plateaued (natural, after being in this business so long) yet they have somehow managed to find another level as a group. fully integrating handong back into the mix after being gone so long may have been challenging, yet it led to an overall improvement as a group. if you haven't already, it is now appropriate to consider them among the elite dance ensembles in kpop.

What I love about Dreamcatcher's performances the most is how they're all very different from each other. Just from their few performances of BEcause, they do very subtle differences during their own dance segments that add a lot of personality. Even this dance practice looks completely different from their live performances, namely their hand gestures as their lines end.

i can not top watching 1:25 - 1:30 . that choreo that jiu does with sua, siyeon, and gahyeon is soooo satisfying. the movement is soo beautiful and just flows so nicely.
The part at the very end, both how they both in unison creepy dolls and how they bend over with their arms behind their back, as well the part where they all sway back and forth while Siyeon walks between them both REALLY reminded me of Good Night. Not at all the same choreo, but reminiscent. A nice little throw back. :)

Dance Theory by me 1) Puppet/marionette and also human controlling choreo: they're being controlled by other people (in movie Us thetered was being control like a puppet by human) 2) 0:13 to 0:16 little ade meets her doppleggager at fun house 3) mirroring moves: there are two worlds, upper world (human world) and underground (tethered world) 4) siyeon move in 1:34 to 1:36 in the movie, red who can dance ballet because ade also dances in the upper world, and the others who are tethered see her and think she might be able to change their fate, because she's "different"
i just realised at this part 2:23 when they were facing handong with their hands at their back. they were making scissors-like hands while the other holding as if readying themselves to "stab". idk if it's just me tho. The little details in their choreographies never cease to amaze me

that's one of the most intense ensemble choreos i've ever seen. this was the level of cohesion that made 9Muses and Gfriend stand out among girl groups. individually, each individual's skill level has plateaued (natural, after being in this business so long) yet they have somehow managed to find another level as a group. fully integrating handong back into the mix after being gone so long may have been challenging, yet it led to an overall improvement as a group. if you haven't already, it is now appropriate to consider them among the elite dance ensembles in kpop.
Siyeon is underrated as a dancer. She effectively adds vibrato to her moves with subtle speed changes within each move.

What I love about Dreamcatcher's performances the most is how they're all very different from each other. Just from their few performances of BEcause, they do very subtle differences during their own dance segments that add a lot of personality. Even this dance practice looks completely different from their live performances, namely their hand gestures as their lines end.
I’m still new to dreamcatcher, but can I say @ 1:30 instead of the girls just standing there since they’re not in frame- they hold hands like the beginning of the song so it blends it. Idk if that makes sense, u know how artists just stand there, idk, I like that small detail

i can not top watching 1:25 - 1:30 . that choreo that jiu does with sua, siyeon, and gahyeon is soooo satisfying. the movement is soo beautiful and just flows so nicely.

The part at the very end, both how they both in unison creepy dolls and how they bend over with their arms behind their back, as well the part where they all sway back and forth while Siyeon walks between them both REALLY reminded me of Good Night. Not at all the same choreo, but reminiscent. A nice little throw back. :)

1) Puppet/marionette and also human controlling choreo: they're being controlled by other people (in movie Us thetered was being control like a puppet by human)
2) 0:13 to 0:16 little ade meets her doppleggager at fun house
3) mirroring moves: there are two worlds, upper world (human world) and underground (tethered world)
4) siyeon move in 1:34 to 1:36 in the movie, red who can dance ballet because ade also dances in the upper world, and the others who are tethered see her and think she might be able to change their fate, because she's "different"

i just realised at this part 2:23 when they were facing handong with their hands at their back. they were making scissors-like hands while the other holding as if readying themselves to "stab". idk if it's just me tho. The little details in their choreographies never cease to amaze me
im so angry that they dont get enough recognition: theyre all hilarious, talented, and have great chemistry as a group. i wish they could get more promotion from their company and really blow up one day
