@@fauzanree1983 In my opinion, odd eye is harder than boca and boca is harder than scream, since scream has a pretty simple verses and many solo dance parts, while the solo parts get fewer since boca and fewer again at odd eye (which means they got group parts more than before). (And their verses gets more complicated too, even though their chorus are the reverse).
Dreamcatcher has one of the most intense, hardest and gender neutral choreography. The synchronization is very satisfying to watch, isn’t? Dreamcatcher also has meaningful choreography. Did you see ‘The Evil Eye’ in their intro (timestamp: 0:10)? It’s also on their 6th mini album cover. The transitions here are very hard; they didn’t bump without looking at each other. I love how they executed the domino effect because it should be at the right time. Otherwise, you’ll be anxious and the positioning will be complicated.

You can see that if you compare Dreamcatcher choreos to some popular girl groups, who usually have a more feminine style of dancing that, for example, could feel awkward for a male idol to dance to or vice versa. Like you probably wouldn't see Twice or Blackpink with male backup dancers
Dreamcatcher’s choreography isn’t just amazing, the formation is ALWAYS so satisfying, they’re not just dancing so well and that’s it. They actually make it way more interesting, you can see everyone, they’re literally running from a side to side .. they give the feel of a musical or theatre. I got used to it to the point where I find it boring to watch some performances of other groups if they didn’t have a complicated formation.

one thing i've always appreciated about dreamcatcher is how expressive they are. while it's not the case for all idol groups, i find that a loooot of them, when doing any sort of "edgy/dark" concept or even do a song with a lot of emotions packed into it like heartfelt ballads, they still keep this weirdly neutral, unperturbed pace and body language that often doesn't translate well to the lyrics and/or the choreo made for that song. i understand it's probably for the sake of looking their prettiest/handsomest-- kpop is a visual industry, above all. but it really does make the whole viewing experience... a little boring if i can be honest. dreamcatcher has never had that problem-- you can feel the intensity practically oozing out of each member, and it makes the performance that much more compelling. how they manage to keep this energy and theatricality up comeback after comeback, i have no idea, but i'll never not love it.
That is what i noticed too. Dreamcatcher are trully a live performance focus group. Im more biased towards live performance than the other aspects so that is probably one of the biggest reasons i stan dreamcatcher. Most of the artist that i stan are very very good performers and also excellent at audience engagements.
For those who didn't notice the little details in this masterpiece: the first formation is done to form an eye shape and the girls being the iris (center), then in the chorus we have to reference: one being the devil sign at the begging rigth before it starts and then they make the boca dance with their hands a little bit later. Honestly not only their choreos are amazing but is the little details that make them more unique and special even. The talent of this girls, the team, dancer, choreographer, everyone involved in this is overwhelming. Cheers to them

I have nothing but praise for Dami. I'm not going to comment on Sua because she's already the best. But thanks to Dami's pants, you can see how sharp her movements are. Like the angle of her line? Precise and perfect. I wish people notice Dami more for her dance skill. Edit: and oh, I meant to comment on that 'ooooh~' part in the chorus. I found dami did it best. Look at the movement of her hip. I repeat that part to compare with other members but dami is just *chef kiss*

I don't follow their recent vlives but since Gahyeon still keeping her healthy weight, I believe that in some way, Gahyeon influenced Dami to do some dieting too. Even Yoohyeon with that bubble butt, worked out the most. I believe everyone in the group is doing a healthy diets. Even in radio interviews, Dami hadn't mentioned about anything weird with her diet or anything or else we InSomnias would notice about.

I hope shes okay.
About the barrel jump, actually it looks a bit off is only from those from outside of dance line, those in the dance line did it fine I think. Gahyeon almost didn't do it correctly at all and that affects how the sync of everyone else.

dami is cool, and every comeback she gets even cooler, I cant take my eyes off her. this concept suit her so much, and I cant even explain how happy it makes seeing her dance not just at the corners or behind, she's is a lead dancer for a reason, so much power and skills in her moves

My guess from experience is that they were smiling/laughing from the exhausting dance routine (potentially some retakes) and that they were happy to either comeback either successfully do their part each time. Then again, I was not there (unfortunately 😭) and I can't read minds but this is really from their usual videos which show their cute/fun/dorky side and mind full of InSomnias (VLive, interviews, fancams, fanmeetings, etc...).

The Energy Odd Eye has is perfectly mirrored in the impressive and demanding choreography. The intensity is present even in the softer parts. The formations, the barrel turn 2:40 and SuA's kick are like visual candy. 10/10 for me. So basically this is DREAMCATCHER level. Now let me go back to the MV! 😁
Curious to know when everyone does a spin jump at 2:40 , neither Gahyeon or Siyeon actually do the jump. Siyeon doesn't i am assuming as she has the singing lines at that moment, Gahyeon seem to spin but not jump, just wondering if she has an injury atm? Its both in the practice and televised dances.
could also be that it makes her really dizzy so they agreed on a spin n small hop the choreo is really hard too and that jump is the last segment aa must be so hard

This is amazing. It feels a bit like an EXO dance/song but female version and it's SO WELL-MADE!! I enjoyed Dreamcatcher's music a lot in the past but I really never checked them out thoroughly, but this makes me want to STAN them! This makes me so happy. Their swag is so mesmerizing to watch.
What I love about Dreamcatcher is their unwavering commitment to excellence. As far as awards go they can only control so much of that process. They can only control what they do, which is to continue to be the best performers they can be. They have much much MUCH better synchronization and their dance is a lot better than most of the hyped girl groups. Even a lot of boy groups don't have this sort of synchronization. Their synchronization is really close to Seventeen's level and THAT is saying something considering how Seventeen is known for their god-like synchronization. Even their backup dancers are amazing!!!

I quit calling the CO-Dancers backup dancers back in the Scream Era. These dancers rocked this dance just like the DC girls did. Amazing to see the synchrony of all of them. They moved as one dancer. #DreamcatcherCoachella2022
it’s not a bad thing tho.... that’s what they’re literally called. when we say “the backup dancers” we don’t say it as they suck or can’t dance like how DC can. i don’t know why people hate that term, it’s quite literally what they are.
What I LOVE about Dreamcatcher is how much one can see both super hard work and extreme fun. They work hard as heck (I mean not only the girls but also the support dancers and all the musical crew behind each tune) but the enjoyment of the final result is so clear. They're all feeling super focused AND exhilarated. As a composer and performer myself, I can relate so much : this is what we CRAVE, it's the reason why we love so much what we do, the hard work and the bliss of sharing it. It happens much less often to me as I see it happen to Dreamcatcher though, but it makes me SO incredibly happy that there are artists out there who get it that much. That's why artists live.

I have nothing but praise for Dami. I'm not going to comment on Sua because she's already the best. But thanks to Dami's pants, you can see how sharp her movements are. Like the angle of her line? Precise and perfect. I wish people notice Dami more for her dance skill.
Edit: and oh, I meant to comment on that 'ooooh~' part in the chorus. I found dami did it best. Look at the movement of her hip. I repeat that part to compare with other members but dami is just *chef kiss*

@@gabriellehessels8190 welps, Gahyeon used to have the most weight in the group and had a huge *healthy* weight loss and was noticed when they came back with Scream. I don't follow their recent vlives but since Gahyeon still keeping her healthy weight, I believe that in some way, Gahyeon influenced Dami to do some dieting too. Even Yoohyeon with that bubble butt, worked out the most. I believe everyone in the group is doing a healthy diets. Even in radio interviews, Dami hadn't mentioned about anything weird with her diet or anything or else we InSomnias would notice about.
@@gabriellehessels8190 i was gonna ask about the same thing. she looks way thinner than usual, and (in my judgement at least) she seems a bit pale, and a bit more tired. my intention isnt to sound rude, i am just genuinely worried about her, this industry puts a lot of pressure on women, and i dont want her to also fall victim to the ridiculous standards it has towards being skinny. this might be only in my opinion, but she seems a bit sad/drained here. I hope shes okay.
About the barrel jump, actually it looks a bit off is only from those from outside of dance line, those in the dance line did it fine I think. Gahyeon almost didn't do it correctly at all and that affects how the sync of everyone else.
Siyeon's outfit criteria:
1. All shirts must not have shoulders so that the tattoo can be shown off as often as possible.

Don't worry, they were for sure not being rude. The girls are always having fun preparing for their comeback and performing.
My guess from experience is that they were smiling/laughing from the exhausting dance routine (potentially some retakes) and that they were happy to either comeback either successfully do their part each time.
Then again, I was not there (unfortunately 😭) and I can't read minds but this is really from their usual videos which show their cute/fun/dorky side and mind full of InSomnias (VLive, interviews, fancams, fanmeetings, etc...).

They didn't invite stray kids in 2019 and didn't give any nominations in 2020 even though they were so successful. Dreamcatcher is such an amazing group too they're good performers and so talented I wish we could see them. Maybe one day they'll stop ignoring their talent. Award shows literally doing these things on purpose

The Energy Odd Eye has is perfectly mirrored in the impressive and demanding choreography. The intensity is present even in the softer parts. The formations, the barrel turn 2:40 and SuA's kick are like visual candy. 10/10 for me. So basically this is DREAMCATCHER level. Now let me go back to the MV! 😁
Curious to know when everyone does a spin jump at 2:40 , neither Gahyeon or Siyeon actually do the jump. Siyeon doesn't i am assuming as she has the singing lines at that moment, Gahyeon seem to spin but not jump, just wondering if she has an injury atm? Its both in the practice and televised dances.
yeah idk, you can see before during dami's part of the bridge she looks really tired/exhausted. maybe she's injured or sick :(
They don’t do it in the live stages either. Maybe they can’t do it.
Sometimes Gahyeon managed a small hop. Maybe she was already exhausted (like the comments above me said)
could also be that it makes her really dizzy so they agreed on a spin n small hop the choreo is really hard too and that jump is the last segment aa must be so hard

This is amazing. It feels a bit like an EXO dance/song but female version and it's SO WELL-MADE!! I enjoyed Dreamcatcher's music a lot in the past but I really never checked them out thoroughly, but this makes me want to STAN them!

They have much much MUCH better synchronization and their dance is a lot better than most of the hyped girl groups. Even a lot of boy groups don't have this sort of synchronization.
Their synchronization is really close to Seventeen's level and THAT is saying something considering how Seventeen is known for their god-like synchronization.
Even their backup dancers are amazing!!!

I quit calling the CO-Dancers backup dancers back in the Scream Era. These dancers rocked this dance just like the DC girls did. Amazing to see the synchrony of all of them. They moved as one dancer.

it’s not a bad thing tho.... that’s what they’re literally called. when we say “the backup dancers” we don’t say it as they suck or can’t dance like how DC can. i don’t know why people hate that term, it’s quite literally what they are.
What I LOVE about Dreamcatcher is how much one can see both super hard work and extreme fun. They work hard as heck (I mean not only the girls but also the support dancers and all the musical crew behind each tune) but the enjoyment of the final result is so clear. They're all feeling super focused AND exhilarated. As a composer and performer myself, I can relate so much : this is what we CRAVE, it's the reason why we love so much what we do, the hard work and the bliss of sharing it. It happens much less often to me as I see it happen to Dreamcatcher though, but it makes me SO incredibly happy that there are artists out there who get it that much. That's why artists live.
