Best thing to come out of Wakefield. Probably one of my favorite band of all time. All hail The Cribs.

I heard “ignore the ignorant “ album and liked it years ago.
Recently I heard the rest of they’re catalog and abut obsessed with the music right now.
      The Melodies are amazing

Oh wow I am so glad to have stumbled upon your channel, what a great video, The Cribs are my all time favourite band!
I’m a stand up comedian based in the UK and my stage persona is someone who’s an ageing indie kid that hasn’t really moved on from the 2000s and I usually wear one of my many MANY pieces of Cribs merchandise whilst performing haha!
Keep up the good work man

@@indiesleaze ahhh thank you very much man!
If I could suggest one band you should totally cover on this channel, then it’s the criminally underrated indie band Half Man Half Biscuit, although they’ve been around since the 80s their best album ‘Achtung Bono’ was released in 2005 right around the time of the indie sleaze movement and their song ‘Joy Division Oven Gloves’ formed part of a campaign to help save 6 Music, so yeah proper indie veterans got that reason alone, plus their backstory is just genuinely very very funny!

I'm thrilled to have come across your channel. All the bands I saw throughout the video including of the cribs are bands I grew up listening to. Very excited to peruse through your videos!

Wow. Thanks for what you're doing! As a non-British fan of British rock, I really appreciate all the historic details included to the story and getting to know in what circumstances the band came to be and what they had to face at those times. I hope you'll make some videos on Oasis/Liam, Babyshambles or Johnny Marr in the future!

Its interesting as I remember NME's coverage of The Cribs to be pretty positive and frequent from around 2005 onwards. I was introduced to them via a free CD with the magazine around then and they pretty much instantly became my favourite band and obsession. I'm so proud they've lasted as long as they have with such a loyal fanbase too.

Hey dude great videos, just one remark, try to not end every sentence on the same tone :) The editing is great, the writing is great, I only feel the tone of the sentences is a bit monotone. Hope you don't take it as a negative, you're on the right track imho :)

Music in the 2000's was the worst it's ever been. It was pretty much wall-to-wall garbage, and the Cribs were included in that too.
