  • It still needs some very minor things but its running driving and stopping now. Aircon will need some tlc to get working and seats will need to be trimmed. I am also fitting a stronger harrop true track center to the salisbury diff so I dont have any issues with the diff down the track as the factory centers are very weak. Very excited how its turned out and how well it drives.

    You are a machine. How you punch out your cars in such quick time amazes me. I am at where you are at with the final finish of my Tonna. I keep saying to myself "I've spent everything I need to." then I go and spend another $500 every frickin week! It's endless. Great vids. Thanks for telling it like it is.

    Wow, I can't belive it's already at the rego stage. I can't wait to see it doing some "fat laps" as you called it. I actually love the way it sounds but the new twin system will be the cherry on top. Love it bro, awesome build. 😊

    Well done mate i love your car. I would be very happy with that. It all adds up fast hey, but 35 or 40k is a pretty decent effort. I have probably spent that on my VB and its hardly a glamour

    You definitely smash the builds out Nelson, You've built two cars in the time Ive done one, and im still not finished lol. The cost breakdown puts it into perspective for the people who bag out the prices people are asking for complete driving cars. And apart from doing everything yourself, you already had the shell and a lot of spare parts. Its been a good watch, cheers!

    I don't believe these are the true costs , you haven't put a costing under beer on the paint and panel side. The builds coming along nicely! with that exhaust changed over it'll sound mint!

      I would pay that to have aircon working but I can't really be bothered to fix it now as I know its a big job. My ac fan isn't even working.

    • @paulthompson1654
      @paulthompson1654 10 месяцев назад +1

      Most of the work is DIY but u have to have some mechanical knowledge and it really helps some air conditioning knowledge
      heater fan is picking the 2 haives open/apart . The blower fan cooler hose is NOT available they are brittle caution Once the case is open inspect brushes . They are imperial in size . [hard to get ??] 400 wet dry armature and clean slots . Blast inside /paint . Rewire pos and neg straight to brush holder
      Condenser solder on o ring brass fittings then flush with Shellite and compressed air , blow thru with nitrogen after . Cap to keep moisture out to ready to use .

    • @MCFRYMotorsport
      @MCFRYMotorsport  10 месяцев назад

      @paulthompson1654 I need to pull the motor out to get the aircon out from engine bay which I might do down the track but I can see its a huge job.

    • @paulthompson1654
      @paulthompson1654 10 месяцев назад

      Air con box comes out of the engine bay with motor in
      Remove the valve cover on that side . Remove the fan motor . U will need to be creative with your screw drivers Very small stumpy Phillips head or a 90 deg ratchet screwdriver etc etc . Flat paint scrapers will help lever box off firewall Remember the 2 nuts 1top 1 bottom of heater box inside cab
      WHAT EVER U DO ONLY USE """ SELLEYS D MASTIC""" SEALER , never use silicon ., From Bunnings [light duty GM style sealant ]
      Allow 1 day for removal in car

      Needs to go on the dyno but im guessing 280rwhp and 300 if im lucky but the th400 does soak up a bit of power. Has around 10.5comp

    • @thef71
      @thef71 Год назад

      What do Yu mean by the turbo400 soaks it up

    • @thef71
      @thef71 Год назад

      280 is a nice streeter for sure

    • @MCFRYMotorsport
      @MCFRYMotorsport  Год назад +1

      @Kevin Lyon if it had a manual transmission it would make 310rwhp+ pretty easy, th400 soaks more power to turn and run so might make 280rwhp
