i’ve straightened my hair nearly everyday for a year, i was insecure because of how damaged my curls were but i’m very confident in getting a change and stop using so much heat :) thankyou
Gel is the saviour to combatting frizz. Get a small amount and run through your hands so that they are covered and praying hands it through your hair with it upside down and scrunch. Don't touch your hair AT ALL while its wet and drying either. That's the main culprit to making frizz appear.
Have literally been mourning the loss of my curls after a year of straightening once a week and never focusing on my curls. SUPER scared to stop styling and focus on the damage but this video totally gave me the confidence to tackle my natural hair and get back to feeling beautiful again. Thank you for sharing your journey!!! You are absolutely gorgeous btw!
@@filmsbynix this video SAVED my curls. After getting my hair trimmed from all thr damage I did her regimen to build the protein back and get my curls and that was the begining of this entire past year of me being completely natural and I haven't gone back since. 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@CappuccinoBabino Is there anything you used to lengthen your hair before cutting? Because honestly, I don't want to cut my damaged hair now. I want to lengthen my hair a little and then cut it so that I don't get very short hair.
Your hair is so beautiful!!! I’m still trying to grow back all of my length. This natural transition is tough but I’m determined. Love your videos so much ❤️
Amanda Walker no but the person who cut my hair combed my hair all the way out dry and caused a lot of damage. She then cut it as if it were straight hair, also dry, so I had to let my hair grow out a bunch and then get it trimmed correctly to fix all of the damage. So it seems like I got a big chop lol.
Oh no 😭 Definitely try to find a curly hair stylist! I found mine on deva curl’s website, but I believe ouidad also has certified stylists as well. I’ve had my fair share of bad stylists as well and it definitely sucks wasting your time, money and hair 😭😭
Finally found someone with my EXACT hair texture! I am trying all of these tips! I just got a pixie cut because I wanted to get rid of all the damaged parts (which was pretty much all of my hair and why I went so short) so I’m praying this will bring back my naturally curly hair!

The pictures helped soooo much. I thought it was just my hair but my hair looks EXACTLY like your old pictures. Definitely need to do the big chop. Thanks so much
Love your tips. What I found for me that works is using a micro fiber towel to remove the extra water from my hair. My hair has mojor shrinkage so after taking off the micro fiber towel I use my styling products and I have less shrinkage and my curls last longer in general.
It really is all about the towels!! I’m so glad I stopped using regular shower towels because you can instantly see the difference - so much less frizz! 💕💕

My hair is also in the transition phase where I still have some wavy pieces at the ends to cut off, but my hair texture on the back of my head and a few of my bang pieces is drier and naturally frizzy. I can't seem to get the smooth look for those pieces no matter what I try.
Have you tried finger coiling those pieces? It's worked for my trouble areas!
