If you run a high faith/strength build like I do, equip some of the lightning spells to blast messemer from afar, and have something like golden order greatsword equipped or sacred relic sword for your mimic to go to town with while you snipe with lightning 🤷🏼♂️
I had to restart Elden Ring because my save data got corrupted 😩 i just got to where i can unlock this blade and totally forgot about how badass it was this video is perfect! Edit: Holy hell i just finished polishing off this build and it absolutely slaps. DLC honestly isn't bad with it either especially if you get all the fragments you can
This build indeed slaps, been running something similar for ages, If you forego a shield offhand, slap sword of Milos on your back instead for some sweet FP regen. Meaning you can just bully bosses and freeroam with essentially free casts of BB. Downside is anything that is decently fire resistant is going to take less damage.
@@thatguydownthestreet101 My previous comment was base game. Now I've beaten several DLC bosses with Inseparable Sword and Moonlight GS, but I got mad at one and pulled out BB....it still did what I wanted it too. Considering I'm a high level BB SHOULD do heavy damage because I have tons of Faith, Str, and Dex.
I will run high Arcane for the Discovery stat but you make a good argument for faith in general for utility and sustain. Luckily, my level can stem both.
This build is pretty close to my first ever build I did when the game first came out, but with some minor changes I used the the serpent-gods curved sword, which also gives HP when an enemy dies. It gives 2.5% max HP + flat 25 I also used the taker's cameo talisman, which gives you 3% + 30 flat HP So if you use Blasphemous blade and kill something with the takers flame AoW, you get 4% + 40 flat from just blasphemous blade, plus the 10% + 150 on hit with takers flame, 2.5% + 25 from serpent god curved sword, and finally 3% + 30 from takers cameo All together you get 19.5% of your max HP, PLUS 205 flat health on a kill with takers flame. I basically never had to use a crimson flask while exploring
I would NOT use the fire scorpion charm in this build for the dlc. Enemies in the dlc are hitting harder than anywhere else in the game, 3 hitting players with 60 vigor. Anything that increases the dmg you take is going to put you at a big disadvantage.
try gravel stone seal w/ lightning incantations instead of fire, and dragon crest great shield instead of fire scorpion. gives you an alt damage if things resist fire too much, as well as better defense.
Nerf or not, I want this build lol. Question though. If I put this sword on my back. What other sword should I use as my main weapon? It would have to work for a high HP build. Anyone with a thought?
